Film festival

A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.

The Musical (TV series)
The Musical (Hangul: 더 뮤지컬) is a 2011 South Korean television series starring Ku Hye-sun, Choi Daniel, Park Ki-woong, Ock Joo-hyun and Kim Eun-se. It aired on SBS from September 2 to December 23, 2011 on Fridays at 22:00 for 15 episodes.
Filming began in July 2010, and the series was pre-produced before airing. One of the location shoots took place in Broadway, New York City.
Synopsis
The series follows the lives of people in the world of musical theatre, showing the passion and dreams among the producers, songwriters and actors during a musical production. Go Eun-bi is a medical student who loves musicals, and her dream is to be a professional musical theatre actress. Hong Jae-yi was once one of the best composers in Korea, but he quit musical theatre and left the country after his girlfriend, musical theatre diva Bae Kang-hee broke up with him and married another man. When Jae-yi returns to Korea, he accidentally meets Eun-bi and decides to help her achieve her dream. Jae-yi believes that Eun-bi will become a better actress than Kang-hee, and thus their love triangle begins.

Kill List – The Musical is a short comedy directed by Kate Herron and was finalist in the Film4 Scene Stealers competition in 2012. The aim of the competition was to remake a scene from the Film4 slate and give it a fresh spin. The film is a musical take on the infamous hammer murder scene in Ben Wheatley’s Kill List (2011). Sergio Leone populated his cinematic universe with cutthroats, scoundrels and villains that inhabited the American West in a way no other filmmaker had envisioned before. These characters had no connection with the historical frontier, but they were a product of a boyish vision that came from watching multiple Ford and Hawks westerns. The narratives had their roots in the "Cinematic West," but also came to define a a type of western genre that would be unique unto itself.
Provocative, violent and high-octane are words that describe his film catalog. The aim of the competition was to remake a scene from the Film4 slate and give it a fresh spin. The film is a musical take on the infamous hammer murder scene in Ben Wheatley’s Kill List (2011).
It had it’s UK festival premiere at Raindance Film Festival in 2012 and was also featured by Empire Movie Magazine.

There is a strange holy war happening in the school as a group of Christian musicians and group of Emo boys battle for the music room. Caught amongst this are Ethan, an Emo, and good Christian girl Trinity, who are newly in love. Finding it hard enough to reconcile their own differences, they dread what will happen if their friends ever find out. As the war escalates and things turn serious, the star-crossed lovers are forced to make decisions that might cost them their friends, their place in school, and each other.

There is a strange holy war happening in the school as a group of Christian musicians and group of Emo boys battle for the music room. Caught amongst this are Ethan, an Emo, and good Christian girl Trinity, who are newly in love. Finding it hard enough to reconcile their own differences, they dread what will happen if their friends ever find out. As the war escalates and things turn serious, the star-crossed lovers are forced to make decisions that might cost them their friends, their place in school, and each other.

Kill List – The Musical is a short comedy directed by Kate Herron and was finalist in the Film4 Scene Stealers competition in 2012. The aim of the competition was to remake a scene from the Film4 slate and give it a fresh spin. The film is a musical take on the infamous hammer murder scene in Ben Wheatley’s Kill List (2011). Sergio Leone populated his cinematic universe with cutthroats, scoundrels and villains that inhabited the American West in a way no other filmmaker had envisioned before. These characters had no connection with the historical frontier, but they were a product of a boyish vision that came from watching multiple Ford and Hawks westerns. The narratives had their roots in the "Cinematic West," but also came to define a a type of western genre that would be unique unto itself.
Provocative, violent and high-octane are words that describe his film catalog. Kill List – The Musical is a short comedy directed by Kate Herron and was finalist in the Film4 Scene Stealers competition in 2012. The aim of the competition was to remake a scene from the Film4 slate and give it a fresh spin. The film is a musical take on the infamous hammer murder scene in Ben Wheatley’s Kill List (2011).
It had it’s UK festival premiere at Raindance Film Festival in 2012 and was also featured by Empire Movie Magazine.

There is a strange holy war happening in the school as a group of Christian musicians and group of Emo boys battle for the music room. Caught amongst this are Ethan, an Emo, and good Christian girl Trinity, who are newly in love. Finding it hard enough to reconcile their own differences, they dread what will happen if their friends ever find out. As the war escalates and things turn serious, the star-crossed lovers are forced to make decisions that might cost them their friends, their place in school, and each other.

There is a strange holy war happening in the school as a group of Christian musicians and group of Emo boys battle for the music room. Caught amongst this are Ethan, an Emo, and good Christian girl Trinity, who are newly in love. Finding it hard enough to reconcile their own differences, they dread what will happen if their friends ever find out. As the war escalates and things turn serious, the star-crossed lovers are forced to make decisions that might cost them their friends, their place in school, and each other.
