Rock’n Roll is a limited Dread Zeppelin album from 1991 available only in Japan (or import). The album contains both studio recordings and live performances. The short running time of the album hints at a promotional tool for the band in Japan.
The leaflet contains lyrics for all songs (in English), a picture of the seven band members in what looks like a Japanese city street, followed by two pages of Japanese text and finally the track listing in Japanese and English.
Of note both live songs have great sound, with the crowd cheering and band members heard talking to them, mostly on Immigrant Song where Tortelvis presents the band members.
Rock 'n Roll is a fictional character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comic books and cartoon series. He is the G.I. Joe Team's original machine gunner and debuted in 1982.
His real name is Craig S. McConnel, and his rank is that of Sergeant E-5 (later promoted to Staff Sergeant E-6). Rock 'n Roll was born in Malibu, California.
Rock 'n Roll's primary military specialty is infantry, and his secondary military specialty is PT instructor. He is familiar with all NATO and Warsaw Pact light and heavy machine guns (he often used the M60). He graduated top of class from advanced infantry training, and received specialized education in covert ops school at Langley. In time, Rock 'n Roll moved on from being a machine gunner to a Gatling gunner.
A surfer, weightlifter, and bassist, Rock 'n Roll is cunning but naive, and forceful but shy. He possesses a strong sense of loyalty to his teammates and is sincerely concerned about their well being. Rock 'n Roll is a man of honor and integrity who can be counted on to hold the line.
"Rock & Roll" (sometimes spelled Rock 'n' Roll) is a song by the Velvet Underground, originally appearing on their 1970 album Loaded. The song was written by the Velvets' then-leader Lou Reed, who continued to incorporate the song into his own live performances years later as a solo artist.
The song recounts the advent of rock & roll, telling the story of a girl named Jenny whose "life was saved by rock and roll.”
In the liner notes to the Velvet Underground's box set Peel Slowly and See, Lou Reed wrote, "'Rock and Roll' is about me. If I hadn't heard rock and roll on the radio, I would have had no idea there was life on this planet. Which would have been devastating - to think that everything, everywhere was like it was where I come from. That would have been profoundly discouraging. Movies didn't do it for me. TV didn't do it for me. It was the radio that did it."
The song also appears on the albums 1969: The Velvet Underground Live; Live MCMXCIII; Loaded: Fully Loaded Edition; American Poet; Another View; Rock 'n' Roll Animal; Live in Italy; Rock and Roll: an Introduction to The Velvet Underground.; Rock and Roll Diary: 1967–1980.
"Old" is a song recorded by American heavy metal band Machine Head. It was released as a single in two different versions. The title track is taken off of the 1994 album Burn My Eyes. It is the fourth track featured on the band's live album Hellalive, and the ninth track featured on the band's second live album Machine Fucking Head Live.
Leisure has been defined as a quality of experience or as free time. (1)
Free time is time spent away from business, work, job hunting, domestic chores and education. It also excludes time spent on necessary activities such as eating and sleeping. From a research perspective, this approach has the advantages of being quantifiable and comparable over time and place.Leisure as experience usually emphasizes dimensions of perceived freedom and choice. It is done for "its own sake", for the quality of experience and involvement.(1) Other classic definitions include Thorsten Veblen's (1899) of "nonproductive consumption of time." (2) Different disciplines have definitions reflecting their common issues: for example, sociology on social forces and contexts and psychology as mental and emotional states and conditions.
Recreation differs from leisure in that it is purposeful activity that includes the experience of leisure in activity contexts..
The distinction between leisure and unavoidable activities is not a rigidly defined one, e.g. people sometimes do work-oriented tasks for pleasure as well as for long-term utility. A distinction may also be drawn between free time and leisure. For example, Situationist International maintains that free time is illusory and rarely fully "free"; economic and social forces appropriate free time from the individual and sell it back to them as the commodity known as "leisure". Certainly most people's leisure activities are not a completely free choice, and may be constrained by social pressures, e.g. people may be coerced into spending time gardening by the need to keep up with the standard of neighbouring gardens or go to a party to because of social pressures..
Leisure 17 is one of a series of cruisers manufactured by the British shipyard Cobramold Ltd (later renamed in Brinecraft Ltd). The boat is made for offshore sailing.
The Leisure 17 was built between 1965 and 1990. A total of 4500 units were built. It was designed to be a family cruiser. The hull is made from Glass-reinforced plastic. It came in two designs: a double-keel version and a fin-keel version. With both versions the keels are made from cast iron. Since the kim-keel version has a quite low draft (0,65 cm), it is popular in tidal waters. From 1980 the Leisure 17 SL came in a new shape including a larger cabin.
The cockpit provides space for up to four persons. A locker is placed between the cockpit and the stern. The stanchions and guard rail make the Leisure 17 look like a much bigger cruiser and provide the ideal fixing point for protective fenders. A small pipe placed at the bow leads to the anchor chain locker.
Most Leisure 17 are equipped with an outboard. A power of 3,68 kW already reaches hull speed.

My nights don't seem so endless
My days don't seem so bad
I'm walking on a cloud
And there's music in the air
I feel just like a live wire
I've been thrilled through and through
Since I first met you
The stars that shine at night
Seem so more clear and bright
The world seems fresh and sweet
My life seems more complete
Through the lonely years I find my dreams are coming true
Since I first met you
I pray to the lord above
To send me someone to love
And now I know my prayers weren't in despair
'Cause I opened up my eyes and you were there
Now my heart's no longer empty
Those happy days are here
My face is full of gladness
My eyes shed no more tears
I found myself a new love
At last I found a true love
Honey, now that I have you
