David (/ˈdeɪvɪd/; Hebrew: דָּוִד, Modern David, Tiberian Dāwîḏ;ISO 259-3 Dawid; Arabic: داوُد Dāwūd; Syriac: ܕܘܝܕ Dawid; Ancient Greek: Δαυίδ; Latin: Davidus, David; Strong's: Daveed) was, according to the Books of Samuel, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel, and according to the New Testament, an ancestor of Jesus. His life is conventionally dated to c. 1040 – 970 BCE, his reign over Judah c. 1010–970 BCE.
The Books of Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 Chronicles are the only Old Testament sources of information on David, although the Tel Dan Stele (dated c. 850–835 BCE) contains the phrase בית דוד (bytdwd), read as "House of David", which many scholars confirm to be a likely plausible match to the existence in the mid-9th century BCE of a Judean royal dynasty called the House of David.
Depicted as a valorous warrior of great renown, and a poet and musician credited for composing much of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms, King David is widely viewed as a righteous and effective king in battle and civil justice. He is described as a man after God's own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22.
David Wayne Toms (born January 4, 1967) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He has won a total of 13 events on the PGA Tour, including the 2001 PGA Championship. He was in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 175 weeks between 2001 and 2006, and ranked as high as fifth in 2002 and 2003.
Toms was born in Monroe in northeastern Louisiana. He is the son of Thomas E. "Buster" Toms of Minden in northwestern Louisiana. He won the 15-17 Boys' event at the 1984 Junior World Golf Championships. Toms also played little league baseball with future Major League Baseball players Albert Belle and Ben McDonald. After graduating from Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he was a member of the golf team.
In 1991, Toms finished T23 at the PGA Tour qualifying school to earn his first full tour card for the 1992 season. Toms made his first three cuts on tour including a third-place finish at the Northern Telecom Open, although this was the only top 10 he would earn all season. The following season was also a struggle for Toms as he made just 12 of 32 cuts for the season, of which three were top-10 finishes. In 1994, Toms' lack of success continued on the PGA Tour and he lost his playing rights for the 1995 season.
I want to explain myself to you
But you're not talking to me
I'm not expecting you to hear me out
Starring up at the clouds
I'm thinking
I know that I've hurt you again
But I didn't mean it
It's never gonna happen again
Please believe me
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Para Sa'yo
Kahit ano'y gagawin
At kakayanin ko
Haharapin ang mga hamon mo
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Para Sa'yo
Para Sa'yo
You've been ignoring me for days
But I can't sit and wait
So now I'm asking you to hear me out
And share your common ground
All of us make mistakes
And I didn't mean it
Let me make it up
You'll see it
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Para Sa'yo
Kahit ano'y gagawin
At kakayanin ko
Haharapin ang mga hamon mo
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Para Sa'yo
Para Sa'yo
So take my hand
And I'm feeling lucky
So a kiss would be just the thing
To help us remember
Everything we've missed
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Para Sa'yo
Kahit ano'y gagawin
At kakayanin ko
Haharapin ang mga hamon mo
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Tell me now, I'll do anything
Tell me now, Tell me now
Anything
Para Sa'yo
Para Sa'yo
Sabihin mo na kung anong gusto mo
Sabihin mo na kung anong gusto mo
Sabihin mo na kung anong gusto mo
