1: Nenokkadine

1: Nenokkadine (English: 1: I am alone) is a 2014 Indian Telugu psychological thriller film written and directed by Sukumar. Produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta, and Anil Sunkara under their banner 14 Reels Entertainment and distributed by Eros International, the film features Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, marking the latter's debut in Telugu cinema. Nassar, Pradeep Rawat, Kelly Dorji, and Anu Hasan play crucial supporting roles. Mahesh's son Gautham Krishna made his debut as a child actor with this film where he played the younger version of the protagonist.

1: Nenokkadine revolves around the search of Gautham, an Indian rockstar suffering from schizophrenia and shortage of 25% of grey matter, for his parents whom he believes to be murdered by three men. Sameera, a journalist, convinces Gautham that he is hallucinating the presence of those three men and that he is an orphan. When Gautham kills one of those "imaginary" persons for his psychological satisfaction, he comes to know that the deceased is real and leaves for London to find his roots and the other two men behind his parents' death.

Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu (born Mahesh Ghattamaneni, 9 August 1975) is an Indian actor, producer, media personality and philanthropist known for his work in Telugu cinema. He owns the production house G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The younger son of actor Krishna, Mahesh holds a bachelor's degree in commerce. At the age of four, he made his debut as a child artist in Needa (1979) and acted in eight other films as a child artist. He made his debut as a lead actor with Rajakumarudu (1999) and won the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.

Mahesh received breakthrough with the films Murari (2001) and Okkadu (2003); the former fetched him his first Nandi Special Jury Award and the latter fetched him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. The commercial successes of the films Athadu (2005) and Pokiri (2006) established him in the Telugu film industry. He later went on to act in other commercially successful films such as Dookudu (2011), Businessman (2012), Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013) and Srimanthudu (2015). To date, he has won seven Nandi Awards, four Filmfare Awards, three CineMAA Awards, two South Indian International Movie Awards and one International Indian Film Academy Awards.

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon (born 27 July 1990) is an Indian model and film actress. After beginning with modelling, she made her acting debut with Sukumar's Telugu psychological thriller film 1: Nenokkadine. Her first Bollywood film was Sabbir Khan's romantic action drama Heropanti, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2015, Sanon starred in the romantic action comedy Dilwale, one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.

Early life and background

Sanon was born on 27 July 1990 to Rahul Sanon, a Chartered Accountant and Geeta Sanon, an Associate Professor at Delhi University. She has one younger sister, Nupur Sanon. Sanon did her schooling from Delhi Public School, R K Puram and completed Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication, from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Career

Sanon made her acting debut in 2014, with Sukumar's Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, a psychological thriller, in which she played the role of Sameera. The film generated mixed reviews from critics.The Times of India critics stated Sanon "looks pretty" and "acts well". while the reviewer at Sify.com stated that Sanon "looks gorgeous", though her performance is "okay".

Devi Sri Prasad is an Indian music composer, singer, and director. He is also known for his works in Telugu cinema. Among his Awards five are Filmfare Best Music Director South Awards, four CineMAA Awards - Best Music Director. Devi also choreographed a song in Telugu film Kumari 21F.
