Fresh snow is on the way before the weekend.

A high is taking over, bringing calmer weather and increasingly clear skies. Between now and Thursday, each night should be great for snow-making.

On Friday and early Saturday a cold front will bring some decent snow to the resorts, likely bringing 7-15cm for most of the resorts, best at Buller.

Much of the weekend will see great conditions on the fresh powder.

A few weak fronts look likely to make their way across the VIC/NSW ranges between Monday and Friday of the following week, with early indications a high could take hold with lovely weather for the next weekend.
