Al Bundy is a fictional character and the essential protagonist of the U.S. television series Married... with Children, played by Ed O'Neill. He is a misanthropic, beer-loving, indebted, working-class father of two, portrayed as somewhat a tragicomedic figure. Although he is cheap, unsuccessful, lustful, unhappy, and scheming, he nevertheless stands by his family, displaying wit, self-sacrifice and resilience in times of crisis. He and his wife, Peggy Bundy, were rated the 59th best characters on television by Bravo.
Al Bundy is a simple man, forever regretful of the turns his life has taken since the end of high school where he played fullback, when marriage and a broken leg prevented him from playing college football.
Al is married to Peggy, whom he mistakenly asked to marry him while drunk. Peg does not enjoy work and expects Al to dote on her every whim, especially financing her frequent and extravagant shopping sprees. He has two children: Kelly, a promiscuous and literal dumb blonde, and Bud, an intelligent, but perpetually aroused and unpopular schemer named after a brand of beer. Al lives in a suburb of Chicago, and is the proud owner of a 1970s Dodge automobile. It is referred to throughout the series as "The Dodge".
The word Bundy may refer to:
Married... with Children is an American sitcom that aired for 11 seasons. It featured a dysfunctional family living in a fictional Chicago suburb. The show, notable for being the first prime-time television series to air on Fox, ran from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997. It was created by Michael G. Moye and Ron Leavitt. Drawing inspiration from Norman Lear's 1970s sitcom All In the Family, the show was known for handling nonstandard topics for the time period, which garnered the then-fledgling Fox network a standing alongside the Big Three television networks.
The series' 262-episode run makes it the longest-lasting live-action sitcom on the Fox network. Its theme song is "Love and Marriage" by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen, performed by Frank Sinatra from the 1955 television production Our Town.
The first season of the series was videotaped at ABC Television Center in Hollywood. From season 2 to season 8, the show was taped at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, and the remaining three seasons were taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. The series was produced by Embassy Communications during its first season and the remaining seasons by ELP Communications under the studio Columbia Pictures Television (and eventually Columbia TriStar Television).
A greatest hits album, sometimes called a "best of" album or a catalog album, is a compilation of songs by a particular artist or band. Most often the track list contains previously released recordings with a high degree of notability. However, to increase the appeal, especially to people who already own the original release, it is common to include remixes and/or alternate takes of popular songs; even new material (previously unreleased). At times a greatest hits compilation is the original release for songs that have themselves been released as a single and charted successfully.
Madonna's The Immaculate Collection is the best selling greatest hits compilation by a solo artist; all of the songs on it are presented in different versions than the original hit versions. The Eagles' Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) is the best selling greatest hits compilation by a group and also one of the ten best selling albums in history. Greatest hits albums are typically produced after an artist has had enough successful songs to fill out an album release. Some artists, such as Mariah Carey, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Kenny Rogers, Aerosmith, Kiss, U2, Dolly Parton, Journey, Los Tigres del Norte, Queen, Kylie Minogue and Billy Joel, have released multiple greatest hits albums through their long careers. Some greatest hits albums are released only at the end of the artist or group's career. For example, My Chemical Romance released a greatest hits album after they disbanded. Other artists, like Eminem have released hits albums in the center of their success. He released Curtain Call: The Hits in 2005 and then Shady XV as a compilation album in 2014.

Love and marriage, love and marriage,
Go together like a horse and carriage,
This I tell you brother,
You can't have one without the other.
Love and marriage, love and marriage,
It's an insititute you can't disparage,
Ask the olkal gentry,
And they will say it's elementary.
Try, try, try to separate them,
It's an illusion,
Try, try, try and you will only come,
To this conclusion.
Love and marriage, love and marriage,
Go together like a horse and carriage,
