Abigail

Abigail (Hebrew: אֲבִיגַיִל / אֲבִיגָיִל, Modern Avigáyil Tiberian ʾĂḇîḡáyil / ʾĂḇîḡāyil ; "my father's joy", spelled Abigal in 2 Samuel 17:25 in the American Standard Version but not in the King James Version) was the wife of Nabal; she became a wife of David after Nabal's death (1 Samuel 25). Abigail is David's second wife, after Saul's daughter, Michal, whom Saul later married to Palti, son of Laish when David went into hiding.

She became the mother of one of David's sons, who is listed in the Book of Chronicles under the name Daniel, in the Masoretic Text of the Books of Samuel as Chileab, and in the Septuagint text of 2 Samuel 3:3 as Δαλουια, Dalouia.

Biblical history

In the passage from 1 Samuel, Nabal demonstrates ingratitude towards David, and Abigail attempts to placate David in order to stop him taking revenge. She gives him food, and speaks to him, urging him not to "have on his conscience the staggering burden of needless bloodshed" (verse 31, NIV) and reminding him that God will make him a "lasting dynasty" (verse 28). Jon Levenson calls this an "undeniable adumbration" of Nathan's prophecy in 2 Samuel 7.Alice Bach notes that Abigail pronounces a "crucial prophecy," and the Talmud regards her as one of the Tanakh's seven female prophets. Levenson, however, suggests that she "senses the drift of history" from intelligence rather than from special revelation.

Nach Baliye

Nach Baliye ('Nach' means Dance and 'Baliye' means partner or mate) is a dance, reality-television series on the Indian channel Star Plus. The show is a couples dancing contest. The first and second season aired on Star One and then shifted to Star Plus. It got renewed for season 7

Concept

The show is a competition wherein 10 television celebrity couples compete against each other. Contestants dance to a different tune, different theme and different styles every week and scores are given by the judges. Each week one couple is eliminated based on public voting and their scores.

King Diamond

Kim Bendix Petersen (born 14 June 1956, Copenhagen, Denmark), better known by his stage name King Diamond (Konge Diamant), is a Danish heavy metal musician. As a vocalist, he is known for his extensive vocal range, in particular his usage of falsetto. He is the lead vocalist for both Mercyful Fate and the eponymous King Diamond.

Career

Early days

King Diamond's first heavy rock band was called Brainstorm (1974–76), with Jeanette Blum (Jean Blue) vocal and bass, Michael Frohn (Mike West) guitar and Jes Jacobsen (Jesse James) drums. King Diamond left Brainstorm and began singing with local Danish hard rock band Black Rose. It was during this time in Black Rose that King Diamond began experimenting with horror themed theatrics as well as shaping a malevolent quasi-Satanic stage persona. He left Black Rose and joined the punk-metal band Brats where he met Hank Shermann. Soon after, the two of them were asked to help Michael Denner (also formerly a member of Brats) with his own project Danger Zone. This band included Timi Hansen and the mentioned musicians would join with King Diamond in 1980 to become Mercyful Fate.

Motionless in White

Motionless in White (sometimes abbreviated MIW) are an American gothic metal/metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Chris "Motionless" Cerulli (lead vocals), Ricky "Horror" Olson (rhythm guitar), Devin "Ghost" Sola (bass), Ryan Sitkowski (lead guitar), Josh Balz (keyboards) and Vinny Mauro (drums). The band has stated that their band name derived from the Eighteen Visions song "Motionless and White". The group is known for their screaming vocals as well as clean.

Motionless in White is signed to Fearless Records and have released three studio albums; their most recent, Reincarnate, was released on September 15, 2014 in United Kingdom and then on September 16, 2014 worldwide.

History

Formation and early years (2005–2009)

Motionless in White was founded in 2005 by members Chris Motionless, who played guitar and lead vocals, Angelo Parente on drums, Frank Polumbo on guitar, and Kyle White on bass during high school. They incepted many other titles into the group until finally settling on what would be Motionless in White. Chris Motionless and other members have noted bands such as, Poison the Well, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Johnny Cash, Depeche Mode, and other musical groups as their inspiration. In 2005 they released their self-distributed demo.

Plot: This film is a tale of two halves the first half tells the story of Kane and Abel, two small time hoods, who are having a documentary made about them, by a pretty 18 year old A-Level student called Abigail Adams. Against Abel's wishes, Kane keeps Abigail alive and insists on her filming everything they get up to. They use their money to set up and run a large scale crystal meth factory and 'retail outlet', when they take over an almost abandoned block of flats. In parallel to this, we see the story of a voodoo priest called Wyclef, from the block next door, as he goes through the traditional ritual of helping his dead wife's soul pass over to the spirit world, a year and a day after her death. Apart from the occasional attempted break in and meth addicts willing to trade sex for drugs, Kane and Abel's retail empire grows swiftly, with the help of their resident chemist's Phillippe and his partner Simeon and a junky with an unknown past called Sparky, who works on getting all of the locals hooked on the meth. This take a serious turn when Wyclef get's mixed up in something he can't control and Kane and Abel are left to fight off furious junkys, who cant get enough of their product.
