Kamlesh Pandey, the actor who played the role of police officer in TV serial Crime Patrol has committed suicide in Madhya Pradesh. Kamlesh reportedly shot himself after getting drunk in the presence of his wife’s sister, Anjani. A few days ago, Anjani had got her elder daughter married and hadn’t invited Kamlesh to the wedding. Upset about the turn of events, he created ruckus and killed himself.
Kamlesh is survived by his wife and two daughters.

TV actor Kamlesh Pandey, who played a police officer in popular show 'Crime Patrol', committed suicide yesterday by shooting himself.

Indian television actor Kamlesh Pandey committed suicide on Monday night in Jabalpur. The actor shot himself in the chest. The small-time actor was reportedly inebriated at the time of the incident. The police have started an investigation in the case and a clearer picture will emerge after the postmortem.
According to reports, there was a rift between Kamlesh and his wife’s family which led to the altercation. The actor, who found fame playing a police officer in Crime Patrol, was in Jabalpur’s Sanjivni Nagar with his wife’s sister, Anjani Chaturvedi.
Anjani had apparently fixed her daughter’s wedding without discussing it with Kamlesh and he was very upset. He was reportedly not invited to the wedding either.
Kamlesh got drunk and created a scene at his in-law’s place. He then took out his gun and fired in the air, and then shot himself in the chest. His panicked family members got in touch with the police and called an ambulance as well but all in vain.

Kamlesh Pandey is an Indian screen-writer and advertising professional with more than 30 years experience in advertising, 20 years in films and 14 years in television. He has won the Filmfare Awards for Tezaab, Star Screen Awards for Saudagar and IIFA Award for Rang De Basanti.He is from ballia(u.p) and currently living in mumbai.

Pandey started his career in advertising in 1970 with Hindustan Thompson Associates as a Copywriter. After a brief stint at Sista's (now Saachi & Saachi) as Copy Chief from 1973-74 and at Grant Advertising Pvt.Ltd. (now Contract Advertising) in 1976 as Head of Creative, he joined Rediffusion Advertising Pvt.Ltd. (now Rediffusion DY&R) in 1976 as Head of Creative Department. Rediffusion became the most successful during his stint from 1976 to 1992.
Pandey has worked with large companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, Maruti, Airtel, BPL, Telco, Exide, Union Carbide, Eveready, and Rajanigandha. He won the Best Copywriter Of The Year Award for four years in succession from its inception in 1978, after which he stopped entering. He was awarded the most prestigious honour in the advertising industry: CAG Hall of Fame 2005.

Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh (MP) (/ˈmɑːdjə prəˈdɛʃ/, 
, meaning Central Province) is a state in central India. Its capital is Bhopal, and the largest city is Indore. Nicknamed the "heart of India" due to its geographical location in India, Madhya Pradesh is the second-largest state in the country by area. With over 75 million inhabitants, it is the sixth-largest state in India by population. It borders the states of Uttar Pradesh to the north-east, Chhattisgarh to the south-east, Maharashtra to the south, Gujarat to the west, and Rajasthan to the northwest.
The area covered by the present-day Madhya Pradesh includes the area of the ancient Avanti mahajanapada, whose capital Ujjain (also known as Avanti) arose as a major city during the second wave of Indian urbanisation in the sixth century BCE. Subsequently, the region was ruled by the major dynasties of India, including the Gurjar pratihara, Mauryans, Gupta Empire, Harshavardhana, then Rajput kings of Paramara, Chandelas, Bundela, Tomaras, subsequently by the Mughals and later by the Marathas. By the early 18th century, the region was divided into several small kingdoms which were captured by the British and incorporated into Central Provinces and Berar and the Central India Agency. After India's independence, Madhya Pradesh state was created with Nagpur as its capital: this state included the southern parts of the present-day Madhya Pradesh and north-eastern portion of today's Maharashtra. In 1956, this state was reorganised and its parts were combined with the states of Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh and Bhopal to form the new Madhya Pradesh state with Bhopal as its capital; the Marathi-speaking Vidarbha region was removed and merged with the then Bombay State. This state was the largest in India by area until 2000, when its southeastern Chhattisgarh region was made a separate state.

Kamlesh reportedly shot himself after getting drunk in the presence of his wife’s sister, Anjani. A few days ago, Anjani had got her elder daughter married and hadn’t invited Kamlesh to the wedding. Upset about the turn of events, he created ruckus and killed himself.
Kamlesh is survived by his wife and two daughters.

TV actor Kamlesh Pandey, who played a police officer in popular show 'Crime Patrol', committed suicide yesterday by shooting himself.

Indian television actor Kamlesh Pandey committed suicide on Monday night in Jabalpur. The actor shot himself in the chest. The small-time actor was reportedly inebriated at the time of the incident. The police have started an investigation in the case and a clearer picture will emerge after the postmortem.
According to reports, there was a rift between Kamlesh and his wife’s family which led to the altercation. The actor, who found fame playing a police officer in Crime Patrol, was in Jabalpur’s Sanjivni Nagar with his wife’s sister, Anjani Chaturvedi.
Anjani had apparently fixed her daughter’s wedding without discussing it with Kamlesh and he was very upset. He was reportedly not invited to the wedding either.
Kamlesh got drunk and created a scene at his in-law’s place. He then took out his gun and fired in the air, and then shot himself in the chest. His panicked family members got in touch with the police and called an ambulance as well but all in vain.
