Police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man in a Mandurah suburb on Saturday morning.
A section of Leighton Road in Halls Head has been closed off following a incident around 5am.
Two people are currently assisting police with their investigation.
Forensic police were at the crime scene early Saturday morning, with homicide detectives arriving shortly after.
Leighton Road east remains closed to the public, with residents told they may not be able to enter the street for hours.
Mary Street boat ramp cannot be accessed from Leighton Road.
A major investigation is under way, with inquiries continuing.
