"In fear of sounding redundant of how 97% of these pre-album release descriptions always come off, I won't try to describe how our new album You Will Never Be One Of Us sounds. What I will tell you is that the same care and the same attention went into this album as our previous albums Unsilent Death and Abandon All Life, and our new album sounds as inspired as either of those two full length recordings.
"Our new record has some new twists and turns that are built off the foundation we laid with our previous albums, as well as a lot of familiarity that you've come to expect from NAILS. You Will Never Be One Of Us is for us, for our fans, and for anybody else who feels disgusted and fed-up with social-climbing impostors, trying to leech off of anything they've ever dedicated themselves to. I can say with 110% certainty: We will not let you down."
"'You Will Never Be One Of Us' is the title track and also the opening track from our new album. I can't deal with trying to write some clever, witty, or whatever type of descriptive garbage filled with barbs about how our band is awesome and other bands suck (which is absolute peasant bullshit), so I'll cut to the chase. This is to date, our favorite song. It's a song which represents almost every side of NAILS. When it comes time to announce a record, it's really difficult for us to pick the first song to let the world hear because any NAILS record to date is more about the LP as a whole and not 1 song really represents the full LP, but I can say with no hesitation, this song represents this LP and we're confident that we should be releasing this song first. 'You Will Never Be One Of Us' is about about the pain and the pride that goes into being involved in hardcore/punk/metal unconditionally...being a lifer. It's a knife to the throat of the people who come and liter their bullshit and impose on everyone for their own selfish agenda. It's for everyone who dedicates themselves to their craft...their music...their passion...whatever the fuck it is, and seeing someone come along and attach themselves to what you do/love and abuse it, with no regard or respect for it. This song is not for NAILS, but for all of US.

The world really doesn't need another 'band playing in a warehouse' music video, but again, without being condescending with some passively aggressive description and putting other videos down, we believe this video not only stands out as far as quality and expression, but represents us in the best possible way that a music video could. "88 Lines About 44 Women" is the name of a hit single by the new wave band The Nails. Originally recorded for their EP Hotel for Women, the song was re-recorded and released to critical and commercial acclaim on the band's 1984 album Mood Swing. Along with the track, "Let It All Hang Out", "88 Lines About 44 Women" peaked at number forty-six on the US dance chart in March 1985.
Both "88 Lines About 44 Women" and its B-side, "Reel World (Beat Boys and B-Girls)", were digitally remastered and appear on the extended Hotel for Women CD that was released in November 2009.
Marc Campbell and David Kaufman of The Nails wrote "88 Lines About 44 Women" in a Manhattan loft. The rhythm track on the song was a preprogrammed track on Kaufman's Casio keyboard. Campbell wrote the lyrics to the song and has noted that "[s]ome of the women [referenced in the song] are real, some are made up." Campbell wrote the song in two hours on a manual typewriter and the band recorded it the next day. The Nails never produced a music video for "88 Lines About 44 Women."
The Nails filed several lawsuits over use of "88 Lines About 44 Women", including a successful lawsuit over use of the song to promote the television show Dexter, as well as use by the state of Massachusetts in an anti-drinking advertising campaign.

"You Will" was an AT&T marketing campaign from the early 1990s directed by David Fincher. Each ad presented a futuristic scenario beginning with "Have you ever…" and ending with "…you will. And the company that will bring it to you: AT&T."

Be One
Be One is the ninth studio album by American CCM singer Natalie Grant. Curb Records released the album on November 13, 2015. She worked with Bernie Herms and Robert Marvin, in the production of this album.
Critical reception
Matt Conner, giving the album four and a half stars from CCM Magazine, describes, "Grant has released a musical set of songs as outstretched as her reach." Awarding the album four stars at New Release Today, Mikayla Shriver states, "This album is no different, and its raw honesty and polished, current musical style come together to create yet another masterpiece for Natalie." Jonathan Andre, rating the album five stars for 365 Days of Inspiring Media, writes, "this is a whirlwind ride for Natalie, but if Be One is any indication, Natalie’s work ought to be treasured in the upcoming weeks and months ahead." Indicating in a four star review by The Christian Beat, Madeleine Dittmer says, "Natalie boldly exhibits passion for putting faith into action through the lyrics in these songs, challenging listeners and drawing them in with impressive, moving musical dynamics and convicting, worshipful lyrics." Criticizing the album in a two and a half star review for Jesus Freak Hideout, Mark Rice comments, "Be One might be Grant's most lackluster album."

Never Be
"Never Be" is a song recorded by Australian singer Meg Mac. The song was released for digital download on 7 August 2015. "Never Be" gave Mac her first ARIA Chart top 50 entry, peaking at number 39. The song was voted in at number 11 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2015.
At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015 "Never Be" was nominated for Breakthrough Artist, but lost to Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit by Courtney Barnett.
In an interview with News Corp Mac explained "Never Be" cautions against the 'grass is greener' envy of other people’s lives. She said "“I noticed people think my life is super cool; it’s crazy to hear what people think the reality is of what I do. The most popular misconception is probably that touring in America is glamorous when it’s counting your pimples while sitting in a van for hours.”
In an interview with Guardian Australia Mac’s described the song’s chorus was written while in her car 'tapping the steering wheel and singing over the top'. Mac explained she was forced to keep singing what she’d composed in her head, over and over until she reached home as her phone battery was dead. “That is maybe where the repetition came from,” she says. “And that’s my favourite thing about the song, how it feels like a chant you can tell yourself over and over.”

What I will tell you is that the same care and the same attention went into this album as our previous albums Unsilent Death and Abandon All Life, and our new album sounds as inspired as either of those two full length recordings.
"Our new record has some new twists and turns that are built off the foundation we laid with our previous albums, as well as a lot of familiarity that you've come to expect from NAILS.
