Web series

A web series is a series of scripted videos, generally in episodic form, released on the Internet or also by mobile or cellular phone, and part of the newly emerging medium called web television. A single instance of a web series program can be called an episode or webisode, however the latter term is falling into disuse.

In 2013, Netflix earned the first Primetime Emmy Award nominations for original online only web television for the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards. Three of its web series, House of Cards, Arrested Development and Hemlock Grove, earned nominations.

Web television series have continued to gain in popularity and notoriety over the subsequent years. Vikram Bhatt

Vikram Bhatt (born 1969 in Mumbai) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter. Formerly, he was the creative head of ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., however he has resigned from the company in 2014.

Early life

Bhatt is the grandson of Vijay Bhatt from (Gujarat, Palitana), one of the pioneers of the Indian film industry, and the son of cinematographer Pravin Bhatt.

Career

At the age of 14, in 1982, Bhatt started his career with director Mukul Anand in Anand's first film, Kanoon Kya Karega. Bhatt also assisted Mukul Anand as the chief assistant on the sets of Agneepath. This film turned out to be a cult classic, though not very successful at the box office.

Subsequently, Bhatt worked with director Shekhar Kapur for two and a half years and later with director Mahesh Bhatt for two years. He has been an assistant director on the sets of several successful films including Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and Junoon.

His career as a director began with the film Jaanam, which was produced by Mukesh Bhatt. His first four films did not fare well at the box office; his first successful directorial venture was Fareb. Following this, he had a string of successful films such as Ghulam, Kasoor, Raaz and Awara Paagal Deewana. After Awara Paagal Deewana , he once again entered a phase where his films did not perform well at the box office. However, in the same phase he did deliver moderately successful films like Deewane Huye Paagal and the semi-biopic Ankahee.

Santosh Saroj

Santosh Saroj is a Bollywood screenwriter and dialogue writer mostly known for films like 'Agneepath','Major Saab'.His last film as writer was Sirf,released in 2008.He was also assistant director for films like 'Mausam','Raaste Ka Patthar' He has also directed two films "Waqt Waqt ki Baat" & "Pyar Mein Sauda Nahin" .

World Wide Web

The World Wide Web (WWW) is an open source information space where documents and other web resources are identified by URLs, interlinked by hypertext links, and can be accessed via the Internet. It has become known simply as the Web. The World Wide Web was central to the development of the Information Age and is the primary tool billions of people use to interact on the Internet.

The World Wide Web was invented by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989. He wrote the first web browser in 1990 while employed at CERN in Switzerland.

Web pages are primarily text documents formatted and annotated with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). In addition to formatted text, web pages may contain images, video, and software components that are rendered in the user's web browser as coherent pages of multimedia content. Embedded hyperlinks permit users to navigate between web pages. Multiple web pages with a common theme, a common domain name, or both, may be called a website. Website content can largely be provided by the publisher, or interactive where users contribute content or the content depends upon the user or their actions. Websites may be mostly informative, primarily for entertainment, or largely for commercial purposes.

Priya Banerjee

Priya Banerjee is a Canadian film actress of Indian descent, who works mainly in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. Priya did her first film Kiss in Telugu in 2013, opposite Adivi Sesh. She then did her first film in Tamil Ula as a lead in which Dwayne Bravo has also done one item number. She has also been shooting for her second Telugu film with Sundeep Kishan and Rashi Khanna as the other leads. She also earned a nomination for the Best Telugu Female Debut Actress at the 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards, but lost out to Avika Gor.

Early life

Priya Banerjee family hails from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. But Priya was born and brought up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Priya's father is an engineer and was also into singing, and her mother is a homemaker. She had lived in middle East for a brief period. Priya did her schooling and university in Canada. She was declared Miss Photogenic at the Miss World Canada in 2011. She has been a model and TV show host. She has also been trained in Kathak and Rabindra Sangeet(classical music) and performed in shows in Canada. She finished her degree in international marketing and computer science in 2012. She came to Mumbai in January 2012 for an acting course in Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares academy. Priya has also done ads with Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra for WeChat. Priya was selected for the role in Kiss after Adivi Sesh had auditioned almost 150 girls.
