Si hablamos de "A Hard Day's Night" hablamos de tantas cosas, la canción (que fue número uno), el álbum y por supuesto la película del mismo nombre.
Canción escrita por John Lennon, y acreditada a Lennon/McCartney. Apareció en el álbum del mismo nombre, A Hard Day's Night. En Estados Unidos apareció con "I Should Have Known Better" en el lado B del sencillo.
El título de la canción se originó en un comentario de Ringo Starr, baterista de la banda. Starr describió de esta manera el suceso en una entrevista con el disc jockey Dave Hull en 1964: «Nosotros estábamos haciendo una tarea, en la que habíamos trabajado todo el día y noche. Se me ocurrió pensar que todavía era de día, y dije: “Ha sido un día duro... (It's been a hard day...)” y miré a mi alrededor y vi que estaba oscuro y dije: “... ¡noche!” (...night!). Así llegamos al título A Hard Day's Night (La noche de un día duro).
El 16 de abril de 1964, The Beatles se reunieron en el estudio 2 de los EMI Studios para grabar «A Hard Day's Night». Les tomó menos de tres horas pulir la canción para su lanzamiento definitivo, seleccionándose para ello la novena toma como la buena para ser publicada.

A Hard Day's Night is the third studio album by English rock band the Beatles, released on 10 July 1964, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film A Hard Day's Night. The American version of the album was released two weeks earlier, on 26 June 1964 by United Artists Records, with a different track listing. This is the first Beatles album to be recorded entirely on four-track tape, allowing for good stereo mixes.
In contrast to their first two albums, all 13 tracks on A Hard Day's Night were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, showcasing the development of the band's songwriting talents. The album contains some of their most famous songs, including the title track, with its distinct, instantly recognisable opening chord,[4] and the previously released "Can't Buy Me Love"; both were transatlantic number-one singles for the band.
The title of the album was the accidental creation of drummer Ringo Starr.[5] According to Lennon in a 1980 interview with Playboy magazine: "I was going home in the car and Dick Lester [director of the movie] suggested the title, 'Hard Day's Night' from something Ringo had said. I had used it in 'In His Own Write', but it was an off-the-cuff remark by Ringo. You know, one of those malapropisms. A Ringo-ism, where he said it not to be funny ... just said it. So Dick Lester said, 'We are going to use that title.'"[6]
In 2000, Q placed A Hard Day's Night at number five in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever.[7] In 2012, A Hard Day's Night was voted 307th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

"A Hard Day's Night" was released 50 years ago today (6 July 1964)
"A Hard Day's Night" is a 1964 British black-and-white comedy film directed by Richard Lester and starring The Beatles—John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr—during the height of Beatlemania. It was written by Alun Owen and originally released by United Artists. The film portrays a couple of days in the lives of the group. The film is considered to be one of the best and most influential musical films of all-time.
It was successful both financially and critically; it was rated by Time magazine as one of the all-time great 100 films. British critic Leslie Halliwell described it as a "comic fantasia with music; an enormous commercial success with the director trying every cinematic gag in the book" and awarded it a full four stars.
The screenplay was written by Alun Owen, who was chosen because The Beatles were familiar with his play No Trams to Lime Street, and he had shown an aptitude for Liverpudlian dialogue. McCartney commented, "Alun hung around with us and was careful to try and put words in our mouths that he might've heard us speak, so I thought he did a very good script." Owen spent several days with the group, who told him their lives were like "a train and a room and a car and a room and a room and a room"; the character of Paul's grandfather refers to this in the dialogue. Owen wrote the script from the viewpoint that The Beatles had become prisoners of their own fame, their schedule of performances and studio work having become punishing. The screenplay was nominated for an Oscar.
The script comments cheekily on the Beatles' fame. For instance, at one point a fan, played by Anna Quayle, apparently recognises John Lennon, though she does not actually mention Lennon's name, saying only "you are...". He demurs, saying his face is not quite right for "him", initiating a surreal dialogue ending with the fan agreeing that Lennon doesn't "look like him at all" and Lennon saying to himself that "she looks more like him than I do". The frequent reference to McCartney's grandfather (Wilfrid Brambell) as a "clean old man" sets up a contrast with the stock description of Brambell's character, Albert Steptoe in Steptoe and Son as a "dirty old man". Despite the fact that the original working titles of the film were first "The Beatles" and then "Beatlemania," the name of the group is never spoken in the movie—it is, however, visible on Ringo's drumkit and on the helicopter in the final scene. The television performance scene also contains a visual pun on the group's name, with photos of "beetles" visible on the wall behind the dancers.

A Hard Day
A Hard Day (Hangul: 끝까지 간다; RR: Kkeutkkaji Ganda; lit. "Take It to the End") is a 2014 South Korean crime action thriller film written and directed by Kim Seong-hun, and starring Lee Sun-kyun and Cho Jin-woong. It was selected to compete in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
Plot
Homicide Detective Ko Gun-su's mother recently died. As he drives to the funeral, he receives calls from his colleagues. His department are being investigated by internal affairs over bribery charges. Distracted by a dog, he runs over a homeless man.
Gun-su hides the body in his car trunk and arrives at the funeral home just in time to put his mother's corpse into the coffin. Gun-su then learns that the IAD officers have found the money in his drawer, and will search his car for more evidence. He hides the body in his mother's coffin, which is then buried without incidence. The next morning, his Chief tells him that IAD stopped investigating his department, thanks to a Lieutenant Park.

The Beatles
The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era. Rooted in skiffle, beat, and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several genres, ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as the group's music grew in sophistication, led by primary songwriters Lennon and McCartney, they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the counterculture of the 1960s.
The Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over a three-year period from 1960, with Stuart Sutcliffe initially serving as bass player. The core of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison went through a succession of drummers, most notably Pete Best, before asking Starr to join them. Manager Brian Epstein moulded them into a professional act and producer George Martin enhanced their musical potential. They gained popularity in the United Kingdom after their first hit, "Love Me Do", in late 1962. They acquired the nickname "the Fab Four" as Beatlemania grew in Britain over the following year, and by early 1964 they had become international stars, leading the "British Invasion" of the United States pop market. From 1965 onwards, the Beatles produced what many consider their finest material, including the innovative and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The Beatles (commonly known as the White Album, 1968) and Abbey Road (1969).

Night
Night or nighttime (sp. night-time or night time) is the period of time between the sunset and the sunrise when the Sun is below the horizon.
This occurs after dusk. The opposite of night is day (or "daytime" to distinguish it from "day" as used for a 24-hour period). The start and end points of time of a night vary based on factors such as season, latitude, longitude and timezone.
At any given time, one side of the planet Earth is bathed in light from the Sun (the daytime) and the other side of the Earth is in the shadow caused by the Earth blocking the light of the sun. This shadow is called the umbra. Natural illumination is still provided by a combination of moonlight, planetary light, starlight, diffuse zodiacal light, gegenschein, and airglow. In some circumstances, bioluminescence, aurorae, and lightning can provide some illumination. A Hard Day's Night is the third studio album by English rock band the Beatles, released on 10 July 1964, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film A Hard Day's Night. The American version of the album was released two weeks earlier, on 26 June 1964 by United Artists Records, with a different track listing. This is the first Beatles album to be recorded entirely on four-track tape, allowing for good stereo mixes.
In contrast to their first two albums, all 13 tracks on A Hard Day's Night were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, showcasing the development of the band's songwriting talents. The album contains some of their most famous songs, including the title track, with its distinct, instantly recognisable opening chord,[4] and the previously released "Can't Buy Me Love"; both were transatlantic number-one singles for the band.
The title of the album was the accidental creation of drummer Ringo Starr.[5] According to Lennon in a 1980 interview with Playboy magazine: "I was going home in the car and Dick Lester [director of the movie] suggested the title, 'Hard Day's Night' from something Ringo had said. I had used it in 'In His Own Write', but it was an off-the-cuff remark by Ringo. You know, one of those malapropisms. A Ringo-ism, where he said it not to be funny ... just said it. So Dick Lester said, 'We are going to use that title.'"[6]
In 2000, Q placed A Hard Day's Night at number five in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever.[7] In 2012, A Hard Day's Night was voted 307th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

It was written by Alun Owen and originally released by United Artists. The film portrays a couple of days in the lives of the group. The film is considered to be one of the best and most influential musical films of all-time.
It was successful both financially and critically; it was rated by Time magazine as one of the all-time great 100 films. British critic Leslie Halliwell described it as a "comic fantasia with music; an enormous commercial success with the director trying every cinematic gag in the book" and awarded it a full four stars.
The screenplay was written by Alun Owen, who was chosen because The Beatles were familiar with his play No Trams to Lime Street, and he had shown an aptitude for Liverpudlian dialogue. McCartney commented, "Alun hung around with us and was careful to try and put words in our mouths that he might've heard us speak, so I thought he did a very good script." Owen spent several days with the group, who told him their lives were like "a train and a room and a car and a room and a room and a room"; the character of Paul's grandfather refers to this in the dialogue. Owen wrote the script from the viewpoint that The Beatles had become prisoners of their own fame, their schedule of performances and studio work having become punishing. The screenplay was nominated for an Oscar.
The script comments cheekily on the Beatles' fame. For instance, at one point a fan, played by Anna Quayle, apparently recognises John Lennon, though she does not actually mention Lennon's name, saying only "you are...". He demurs, saying his face is not quite right for "him", initiating a surreal dialogue ending with the fan agreeing that Lennon doesn't "look like him at all" and Lennon saying to himself that "she looks more like him than I do". In contrast to their first two albums, all 13 tracks on A Hard Day's Night were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, showcasing the development of the band's songwriting talents. The album contains some of their most famous songs, including the title track, with its distinct, instantly recognisable opening chord,[4] and the previously released "Can't Buy Me Love"; both were transatlantic number-one singles for the band.
The title of the album was the accidental creation of drummer Ringo Starr.[5] According to Lennon in a 1980 interview with Playboy magazine: "I was going home in the car and Dick Lester [director of the movie] suggested the title, 'Hard Day's Night' from something Ringo had said. I had used it in 'In His Own Write', but it was an off-the-cuff remark by Ringo. You know, one of those malapropisms. A Ringo-ism, where he said it not to be funny ... just said it. The film is considered to be one of the best and most influential musical films of all-time.
It was successful both financially and critically; it was rated by Time magazine as one of the all-time great 100 films. British critic Leslie Halliwell described it as a "comic fantasia with music; an enormous commercial success with the director trying every cinematic gag in the book" and awarded it a full four stars.
The screenplay was written by Alun Owen, who was chosen because The Beatles were familiar with his play No Trams to Lime Street, and he had shown an aptitude for Liverpudlian dialogue. McCartney commented, "Alun hung around with us and was careful to try and put words in our mouths that he might've heard us speak, so I thought he did a very good script." Owen spent several days with the group, who told him their lives were like "a train and a room and a car and a room and a room and a room"; the character of Paul's grandfather refers to this in the dialogue. Owen wrote the script from the viewpoint that The Beatles had become prisoners of their own fame, their schedule of performances and studio work having become punishing. The screenplay was nominated for an Oscar.
The script comments cheekily on the Beatles' fame. For instance, at one point a fan, played by Anna Quayle, apparently recognises John Lennon, though she does not actually mention Lennon's name, saying only "you are...". For those curious, this film Includes footage of most of the concert, with four audio-only bonus tracks at the end.
This was not to chronicle the event like a documentary, but an attempt to provide a more impressionistic experience, and highlight enjoyment of the music footage by:
-- Removing the intra-song dialogue
-- Bringing up the low bass
-- Bringing up high treble for ease to hear vocals/guitars
-- Zooming in slightly to help fill out the frame
-- Using analog multi-band compressors to balance the sound.
Notes:
1. A very slight plate reverb was used on the John songs were his vocal was distorting and too forward in the mix.
2. It's a shame that on some of the Paul songs his mic is somewhat low. And John's rhythm guitar sounds great, but mixed a little loud. (It's nice to hear because it's usually more buried, but on this there was no way to easily correct it. I tried to bring up the frequencies a tad where Paul's voice was punching through, but there was a lot of overlap that made it hard.)
3. at 4:54 it appears as though the drummer is gone but that's just a drum kit from the previous band. Ringo is on a platform.
4. On a few songs the audio/video synch is slightly a few frames off -- because the original source was off. Most viewers don't notice or care; but if you watch the 2016 Ron Howard feature you'll see it's off there too. I just got really tired with working on this and didn't notice. And also I never expected this video to be so popular since other versions have been around. Here's one that's closer to the original source footage:

Also in Animaniacs, episode 73 contains a skit called "A Hard Day's Warners", a parody of the film A Hard Day's Night, in which the Warners run from their fans as they try to reach a cartoon convention.
In the episode "Rockabye Freakie" of the American television show Growing Up Creepie, the group is parodied as four beetles with Liverpool accents, who usually speak their lines in mellow, musical tune.

The Beatles were mentioned in an episode of Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 titled "Kootie Pie Rocks", where Kootie Pie threatened to turn her favourite band Milli Vanilli into beetles (she meant the Buzzy Beetles from the game). Rob and Fab comment "Who wants to be a band from the '60s?".
Also, in the episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show called "Princess, I Shrunk the Marios", Mario and Luigi are shrunk down to the sizes of bugs, and in one scene, they are underground running away from 4 beetles with the faces of all 4 Beatles and mop-top haircuts. The cast of British soap EastEnders sang a number of songs of the set of the programme for Children in Need 2007. They sang Beatles songs including, "Sgt. On Nickelodeon in a behind the scenes fact of SpongeBob SquarePants, Plankton has an album hit called Krabby Road (referring to Abbey Road by The Beatles), which shows him walking on Abbey Road. Also, in addition the episode "Nautical Novice" features the Yellow Submarine in a museum of boating.
"The Hatrocks and The Gruesomes", the 22 January 1965 episode of The Flintstones, features a band with The Beatles' trademark mop-top hair that plays "bug music", a parody of the "yeah, yeah, yeah" refrain from "She Loves You".[13]
The early 90s series Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad featured an episode entitled "Amp Loves You! Yea, Yea, Yea."
Pinky and Perky, a children's puppet programme from the late 1957 until 1971 featured occasional appearances from "The Beakles", a crow based version of The Beatles.
The Beatles TV series, a late 1960s American fictional animated television series featuring the musical misadventures of The Beatles.
The Rutles, a mid-1970s series of sketches on the BBC television series Rutland Weekend Television, which would lead to the 1978 mockumentary film All You Need Is Cash.
Sesame Street featured a parody band called "the Beetles", a group of four bugs with Liverpool accents and Beatle hair performing parodies of their songs, such as "Letter B" and "Hey Food".
In The Powerpuff Girls episode "Meet the Beat-Alls", Mojo Jojo, "Him", Princess Morbucks, and Fuzzy Lumpkins form a group of supervillains named "The Beat-Alls". There are many additional references to the Beatles, their history, songs, and albums through the episode. Also, in one part of the episode, all 4 Beatles appear in their animated forms from the "Yellow Submarine" film.[14]
The Beatles were mentioned in an episode of Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 titled "Kootie Pie Rocks", where Kootie Pie threatened to turn her favourite band Milli Vanilli into beetles (she meant the Buzzy Beetles from the game). Rob and Fab comment "Who wants to be a band from the '60s?".
Also, in the episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show called "Princess, I Shrunk the Marios", Mario and Luigi are shrunk down to the sizes of bugs, and in one scene, they are underground running away from 4 beetles with the faces of all 4 Beatles and mop-top haircuts. Mario even admits that he hates Beatles.
The cast of British soap EastEnders sang a number of songs of the set of the programme for Children in Need 2007. They sang Beatles songs including, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Fixing a Hole" and "With a Little Help from My Friends". The performance also marked the 40th anniversary of the release of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album.
Nick Jr's The Wonder Pets premiered an episode called "Save The Beetles" in which the Pets save four beetles with mop top hair cuts stuck in a yellow submarine, referenced to one of the Beatles' songs, "Yellow Submarine". The episode also draws musical inspiration from the band itself.
An episode of the Disney Channel original series Phineas and Ferb is entitled "A Hard Day's Knight," a parody of the Beatles' hit song "A Hard Day's Night". Also, Phineas, Ferb, and Baljeet make a band called "The Baljeetles", a parody of The Beatles. "
