Meghalaya (/meɪɡˈɑːləjə/ or US /ˌmeɪɡəˈleɪə/;/meːɡʱaːləj(ə)/) is a state in north-east India. The name means "the abode of clouds" in Sanskrit. The population of Meghalaya as of 2014 is estimated to be 3,211,474. Meghalaya covers an area of approximately 22,430 square kilometers, with a length to breadth ratio of about 3:1.
This state is bounded to the south by the districts of greater Mymensingh and the Division of Sylhet and the west by the Division of Rangpur of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the north and the east by India's Assam state. The capital is Shillong, known as the "Scotland of the East". Meghalaya was previously part of Assam, but on 21 January 1972, the districts of Khasi, Garo and Jaintia hills became the new state of Meghalaya. English is the official language of Meghalaya. The other principal languages spoken include Khasi, Pnar and Garo. Unlike many Indian states, Meghalaya has historically followed a matrilineal system where the lineage and inheritance are traced through women; the youngest daughter inherits all wealth and she also takes care of her parents.

The different biases that are incorporated into the film are as following:
I travelled to the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya back in 2012. At that time, it was monsoon and here I was in wettest region on the earth. It was a world completely different from the one I live in. Not only was it green all around but there was also an exemplary amalgamation of the true beauty that nature has to offer and human lives. I then knew that I will come back and keep coming back here. Last month, I got a chance to go there again and live a few days in some of the most remote places within the Khasi Hills. When you are out there in the open, the rulebook of society becomes irrelevant and you inch closer to self discovery. Meghalaya Alive! Places covered in the film are: Mawlynnong, Mawlyngbna, Lawbah, Nowhet, Dawki, Shiliang Jashier, Lyngkhet, Shnogpdeng. Some specific spots that...

New York City's got a colder winter
Than where I live this time of year.
I wouldn't know cuz I missed my flight
And went out instead.
Handful of friends with some dynamite
Set to explode if you do it right.
Right off a cliff on a Saturday night.
Should have stayed at home.
I never would have met her there.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
I never knew about her.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
I should have listened to the first time
Mitch Ryder warned me
About the psycho with the blue dress on.
I tried to run but she's so so good at keeping up.
I had it coming or so they said.
Right off the pages of a gossip thread.
If only I had just stayed in bed.
Gonna sue Jet Blue for everything they put me through.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
I never knew about her.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
(Biggest mistake, biggest mistake)
I never knew about her.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
Wake me up from the nightmare I'm in.
She's a certified psycho and she's pulling me in.
Wake me up from the nightmare I'm in.
She's a certified psycho.
Can anybody help me out?
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
I never knew about her.
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
[x2]
OH! OH NO!
She's my biggest mistake.
