Be honest, does anyone actually read roundup posts?
I don't. +Rand Fishkin is right ... they're impossible to read! I have to wade through opinion after opinion after opinion to find something truly insightful and actionable. So please, if you're thinking of doing a roundup post, listen to this #whiteboardfriday ... And steal one of Rand's ideas.
My personal favorite? Seeking out controversial counter-opinions. As a content consumer, I personally like it when one source gives me both sides of a topic and let's me choose my own course rather than tell me their way is the way.
