Classified (rapper)

Luke Boyd (born December 13, 1977), better known by his stage name Classified, is a Canadian recording artist and producer from Enfield, Nova Scotia.

Life and career

Music career

Classified attended Hants East Rural High School in Milford Station, Nova Scotia. He started his own production label, Half Life Records, and released his first full-length LP called Time's Up, Kid, in 1995. After years of working on music and sorting through label contracts, Classified produced, recorded and released his ninth album, Trial & Error, and signed a nationwide distribution deal with Toronto-based, URBNET Records. Containing collaborations with up-and-coming Canadian artists like Eternia and DL Incognito, as well as Canadian rap veteran, Maestro, the album was one of the highest selling independent rap albums in Canada in 2004.

In addition to the release of Trial & Error, 2003 and 2004 were busy years for Classified. With the continuous support of VideoFACT, he was able to release two additional music videos for the singles "Just the Way It Is" and "Unexpected". Classified also continued to master his production skills and joined forces with some of Canada's most prominent emcees, including Choclair and Maestro Fresh Wes. He also teamed up with Shady Records recording artist, Royce da 5'9" and opened for Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Nelly, MC Grizzly, Captain Capota, Nas, The Black Eyed Peas and Black Moon.

Unpredictable (Jamie Foxx album)

Unpredictable is the second studio album by American singer Jamie Foxx; it was released on December 27, 2005, by J Records in the United States. The album serves as the follow-up to his debut album Peep This (1994), and was his first release in eleven years.

The album debuted at number two behind Mary J. Blige's The Breakthrough on the US Billboard 200 chart, moving 597,000 units in its first week. The album moved to number one in the following week, overtaking Blige. The album made Foxx the fourth artist ever to have won an Academy Award for acting and to have achieved a number-one album on the Billboard charts. Upon its release, Unpredictable was met with generally mixed reviews from music critics.

Four singles were released from the album, including the title-track "Unpredictable", "DJ Play a Love Song", "Can I Take you Home" and "Extravaganza".

Commercial performance

Unpredictable debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart - beaten to number-one by Mary J. Blige with 'The Breakthrough' - moving 597,000 copies in its first week. In its second week, it climbed to number-one despite 77% decrease moving 139,000 copies. In its third week slipped to number-three with a 29% decrease moving 93,000 copies. In its fourth week sales increased by 2% moving 96,000 copies but the album slid another spot down to number-four. In Its fifth week it suffered a 21% decrease, sliding to number-ten moving 75,000 copies, bringing the albums US sales to 1,000,000 copies. Since its release the album has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with an excess of two million copies.

List of Eureka episodes

The following is a list of episodes for the American science fiction drama Eureka. In addition to the regularly televised episodes, there is a short webisode series called "Hide and Seek", which is available on Syfy's Eureka homepage.

The episodes in the first season were not aired in the order intended by the show's creators. Thus, there are some small inconsistencies, but such inconsistencies are minimal and were intentionally controlled. In podcast commentaries, the show's creators and star Colin Ferguson confirm that the production order was in fact the order in which they intended the show to air, but the network executives changed the order to try to place stronger episodes earlier in the run to help attract viewers.

The creators were able to make minor changes in editing and sometimes dubbed dialogue in later episodes (for instance, they removed the explicit mention of Zoe's first day at school) to minimize audience confusion.

As of July 16, 2012, a total of 77 episodes of Eureka have been aired over five seasons. A fifth season was announced on August 17, 2010, consisting of 13 episodes. On August 8, 2011, Syfy announced that season 5 would be the final season. On February 16, 2012, Syfy announced that the show's fifth and final season would premiere on April 16, 2012.

Damage (Pharoahe Monch song)

"Damage" is a song by American hip hop artist Pharoahe Monch, released as the lead single from his fourth studio album, P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Prior to its release date, Pharoahe Monch's independent label, W.A.R. Media, published a visual trailer to YouTube on September 22, 2012. The song was officially made available for purchase worldwide on September 27, 2012, on the iTunes Music Store by W.A.R. Media in conjunction with Duck Down Music Inc.. The Lee Stone-produced song is the final piece to Pharoahe's "bullet" trilogy in which he anthropomorphizes a slug fired with the intent to annihilate, and tackles the issue of gun violence. The song and its cover art provide a chilling reminder that bullets have no name.

Background and concept

I don't [want to] approach the song as rhyming for the sake of riddling, but that's when I heard the chorus with a whole new meaning, coming from the perspective of a bullet like, “Listen to the way I slay your crew.” As a bullet, it doesn't [care] if you're white, black, Latino, pregnant mother, Pop, politician or whatever. I figured this was the best way to finish the trilogy.

Damage is a song by Jimmy Eat World, included on their album, Damage (2013).

A two-track 7-inch single was released on April 20, 2013 as a Record Store Day exclusive. Side A contains the title track "Damage" from the band's eighth studio album Damage. Side B features Jimmy Eat World's cover version of Radiohead's song "Stop Whispering". Only 1,800 copies of the EP were pressed (1,500 in the US and 300 internationally).
