Thomas or Tom Howard may refer to:
Howard is a popular English given name originating from Old Norse Hávarðr, which means "high guard". A diminutive is "Howie" and its shortened form is "Ward" (most common in the 19th century). Between 1900-1960, Howard ranked in the U.S. Top 200; between 1960–1990, it ranked in the U.S. Top 400; between 1990–2004, it ranked in the U.S. Top 600. People with the given name Howard or its variants include:
Randall Evan "Randy" Stonehill (born March 12, 1952) is an American singer and songwriter from Stockton, California, best known as one of the pioneers of contemporary Christian music. His music is primarily folk rock in the style of James Taylor, but some of his albums have focused on new wave, pop, pop rock, roots rock, and children's music.
Randy Stonehill was born in Stockton, California. the son of Leonard N. Stonehill and his wife, Pauline Correia and is the younger brother of Jeffrey Dean Stonehill.
He graduated from Leigh High School, in San Jose, California, then moved to Los Angeles where he stayed with Christian Rock singer, Larry Norman.
Stonehill's first album, Born Twice was released in 1971, with financial help from Pat Boone. The album—one side a live performance, the other side recorded in a studio—was recorded for a mere $US 800, and according to Stonehill, "sounds like every penny of it!"
A year later, Stonehill made his film acting debut in The Blob sequel, Beware! The Blob (also known as Son of Blob), with Cindy Williams where he performed the unreleased song "Captain Coke". He also made a cameo appearance in the 1973 Billy Graham film Time to Run, performing his song I Love You.
My Heart may refer to:
Four Quartets is a set of four poems written by T. S. Eliot that were published individually over a six-year period. The first poem, Burnt Norton, was written and published with a collection of his early works following the production of Eliot's play Murder in the Cathedral. After a few years, Eliot composed the other three poems, East Coker, The Dry Salvages, and Little Gidding, which were written during World War II and the air-raids on Great Britain. The poems were not collected until Eliot's New York publisher printed them together in 1943. They were first published as a series in Great Britain in 1941 to 1942 towards the end of Eliot's poetic career.
Four Quartets are four interlinked meditations with the common theme being man's relationship with time, the universe, and the divine. In describing his understanding of the divine within the poems, Eliot blends his Anglo-Catholicism with mystical, philosophical and poetic works from both Eastern and Western religious and cultural traditions, with references to the Bhagavad-Gita and the Pre-Socratics as well as St. John of the Cross and Julian of Norwich.

Plot: Another one of the "noisy" sound shorts from Educational, only mentioned because some uninformed source somewhere keeps marking nearly every short that came from Educational as being a silent. FYI to uninformed source; Educational wired for sound in 1928... and used it. The title, "Static" and the plot that takes place mostly in a store selling radios (the talking furniture) should have been a clue this one isn't silent. Tom Howard inherits $3000 and he buys a radio store with his Cousin Joe that has nothing but trade-ins and junk for inventory. Plus, an extortion gang is on the way over to collect the protection money. This was made in the period when all businesses were asked to display the NRA Eagle as their sign of support for this Depression-era program, and Walter Soderling plays an irate customer who berates Howard for not being patriotic and having the NRA emblem on display. Everybody talks. There are radio sound effects. There are sound explosions. It is not a silent film. It may have been better if it was.

One of my favourite Queen solos. Brian May's playing and compositional skills at it's best. I produced this video both as a challenge for myself and to review my technique and playing habits. All guitar sounds were created using the Brian May guitar, Line 6 Pocket Pod straight into the desk, and a Tone Bone Plexitube into a Fender Deluxe miked up with a sennheiser e906. I split the sound simply by plugging a double adapter into the guitar and separating the channels from there. I produced the backing using cubase 5. Any questions please inbox me. Enjoy! Often heard but seldom recognized, Tom Howard was an important figure in the development of modern Christian music. He was one of Larry Norman's brilliant Solid Rock artists in the late 1970's, along with Randy Stonehill and Mark Heard, and after the dissolution of Solid Rock, he helped Daniel Amos (another Solid Rock act) form the Alarma! record label. Although he recorded three excellent vocal pop albums, Howard is more known for the instrumental albums he has released since the mid 80's, and as a session musician, composer and conducter, appearing on albums by artists like The Choir, Phil Keaggy, Randy Stonehill, Jars of Clay, Rich Mullins' Ragamuffin Band and many more. I just discovered yesterday that this prolific writer, instrumentalist, musician and most importantly believer pased on to heaven on February 29th 2010. Though not knowing him personally, I am always moved by death of a saved believer because it means that they are in a truly better place. I enjoy his music and am proud that he followed GOD. I want my life to follow a similar path as I want to live ALL my life doing GOD's work whether it be at work, home or resting. He is a good example of what a role model should do as money doesn't mean happiness but a relationship and devotion to GOD means that. I hope to meet him and every other believer in heaven one day. Thomas Howard Assistant Professor, University of Rochester February 26, 2016 Abstract The efficiency and optimality of robot decision making is often dictated by the fidelity and complexity of models for how a robot can interact with its environment. It is common for researchers to engineer these models a priori to achieve particular levels of performance for specific tasks in a restricted set of environments and initial conditions. As we progress towards more intelligent systems that perform a wider range of objectives in a greater variety of domains, the models for how robots make decisions must adapt to achieve, if not exceed, engineered levels of performance. In this talk I will discuss progress towards model adaptation for robot intelligence, including recent efforts in natural lang...

Dr. Thomas Howard converted to Catholicism in the 80's from being an Evangelical christian. His Evangelical background brought him into the Truth in the Catholic Faith by reading Scriptures, the early Church Fathers and books written by Catholic authors. He said that a Catholic who converts to be an Evangelical has missed the depth of the Truth of the Catholic Faith while an Evangelical who converts to be a Catholic has moved on in his spiritual journey to the Fullness of the Truth of the Christian Faith.

This song and these pictures, all of which I took, show the beauty of California and in turn the majesty of God.
Pray for me. Series: Psalms Alive Album: Psalms Alive III Song: There Is A Longing In My Heart (Psalm 42) Words & Music b...

Classic show. Howard turns his attention to Tom Chiasano and gives us all a glimpse at what it's like to get one over your boss and still have a job at the end. This one is from the Jackie days.
Wow, this is an epic meltdown. Other KROCK DJs are insulting Howard on the air and Howard goes absolutely ballistic on Tom for 20 minutes. The Callers pile on and Tom has nothing to say. Brilliant. From August 1996.

Howard called this day "Black Tuesday" because Tom Chiusano general manger of K-Rock censored the show 27 times the day before. Howard also receives an angry letter from Radio DJ's in New York claiming Howard is abandoning the industry and he responds. Near the end of the clip Howard talks more about Sirius and also predicts its success.
