"I never start until I have the last line," explains Josephine Hart, international bestselling author of DAMAGE and SIN. Born and raised in Ireland, Hart has written six novels and an anthology of poetry. Her provocative work explores themes of betrayal, obsession, and desire by probing beneath the veneer of our interactions and into the darkest recesses of the mind. Her spare prose and brutally honest scenes make her books unforgettable. "You want that character to stay forever. You just can't get rid of them," she says. Watch Hart explain more about her craft and the influence of her childhood on her writing.
Josephine Hart passed away on June 2, 2011. The author of such works as Damage and Sin, she was an accomplished novelist and a tireless champion of poetry.
