Far or FAR may refer to:
Far East Movement (stylized as Far★East Movement or abbreviated FM) is an American hip hop-EDM group based in Los Angeles. The group formed in 2003 and consists of Kev Nish (Kevin Nishimura), Prohgress (James Roh), J-Splif (Jae Choung), and DJ Virman (Virman Coquia). Their single "Like a G6" featuring pop-rap duo The Cataracs and singer Dev hit number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and on iTunes in late October 2010, making them the first Asian-American group to earn a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The 2012 remix song "Get Up (Rattle)" by the Bingo Players, on which they were featured, was also a worldwide hit.
Their song "Round Round" was featured in the 2006 film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and its subsequent soundtrack, video game and DVD. Since "Round Round", the group has been featured on various network shows including CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Entourage, Gossip Girl, and Finishing the Game (a featured film at Sundance 2007).
The Far East is an alternate geographical term in English (with equivalents in many other languages – see the infobox on the right for examples), that usually refers to East Asia (including Northeast Asia), the Russian Far East (part of North Asia), and Southeast Asia.South Asia is sometimes also included for economic and cultural reasons.
Since the 1960s, East Asia has become the most common term for the region in international mass media outlets. Far East is often deprecated as archaic, offensive, and sometimes even racist. In 2010, The Economist commented:
In other words, "Far East" is inherently Eurocentric because it is part of a geographical paradigms in which even Western Asia is the "Near East" or "Middle East". Until the end of the 20th century, it could be argued that Europe was the "center of gravity" of the global economy, although even that is no longer true.
The term Far East came into use in European geopolitical discourse in the 12th century, denoting the Far East as the "farthest" of the three "easts", beyond the Near East and the Middle East. For the same reason, Chinese people in the 19th and early 20th centuries called Western countries "Tàixī (泰西)"—i.e. anything further west than the Arab world.

Plot: Follows a precocious, eleven-year-old Allan, who tries desperately to keep his dysfunctional, rural family together during the social upheavals of the early seventies. Allan reveres his father, Henry, the local milkman, and can't understand why others don't feel the same way. His family life is so twisted he thinks it's perfectly normal to stay awake all night dealing with his father's hysterics and suicidal threats. Allan's older brother left town several years ago, and his mother gave up long before that, relying on sleeping pills to escape Henry's tantrums. Allan then becomes obsessed with a rival family, whom he considers foolish white trash until they start taking away Henry's customers. He is frustrated that his mother doesn't take his father's complaints seriously, and is perplexed by the increasingly rebellious and bizarre behavior of his sister, Sanne. Incapable of understanding what's going on and heavily influenced by his father, Allan commits appalling acts, unaware of their import.

Plot: When we meet Thomas and his mother, Anne, for the first time, they are about to run away as so often before. Now, the escape brings Thomas and Anne to a cosy provincial town. They stop their car to fill up the tank and here Thomas meets Helene, who he instantly falls in love with. Thomas takes the initiative to rent rooms at the local junk dealer Lars. Thomas starts school in a new class, where he sits next to the guitar freak Jonas. In the beginning, Thomas and his mother try to keep to themselves, as they have all too often experienced having to say goodbye to new friends. But Thomas can't let go of Helene and his friend Jonas doesn't give up easily. When the schoolteacher arranges a concert, Jonas, Helene and Thomas form a band. Meanwhile, Lars falls in love with Anne, who also slowly begins to warm up to him. But the moment the future looks brightest, the past catches up with them and Thomas and Anne prepare to run away. But their stay in the little town has left its traces. The experience of a "normal" life with friends and new love is not easily shaken off. The thought of having to live life as a game of hide and seek makes Thomas find the courage to take up the fight.

Genres: Thriller,I welcome this pain
beating down on me
Is it your eyes
that choose not to see?
All I would do
if only you knew
All of my trust
was given to you
Oh, please, this is what I can give
What else do you need from me?
I might be sick, broken, torn to pieces
So, whatever this is, this thing that now I've become,
you hate it so much, you keep on running from it
No matter the distance, no matter how,
no matter how far
I buried this hurt,
concealed in this heart
Go lock all your doors,
these cold steps will warm
Oh, please, this is what I can give
What else do you need from me?
I might be sick, broken, torn to pieces
So, whatever this is, this thing that now I've become,
you hate it so much, you keep on running from it
No matter the distance, no matter how,
no matter how far
No matter how far
