Re es el segundo álbum de estudio de la banda mexicana de rock alternativo Café Tacuba lanzado en 1994. Fue grabado en Los Ángeles, California, Cuernavaca y Morelos bajo la producción del argentino Gustavo Santaolalla. Este es considerado su mejor material de estudio y uno de los disco más importantes en la historia de la música de México y América Latina. Para este disco Café Tacvba contó con la participación de otros artistas como Luis Conte y Alejandro Flores. Rubén Albarrán, vocalista del grupo, es acreditado en este disco como "Cosme".
En él la banda experimenta con diversos géneros musicales, desde la música regional mexicana, como el trío, la música norteña y banda, hasta otros tan diversos como el punk, el grunge, el samba brasileña y el ska jamaiquino. El disco fue ampliamente aclamado por la crítica e incluso ha sido comparado por diversos medios norteamericanos con el White Album de The Beatles debido a su genialidad musical, variedad, calidad y cantidad de temas. Con este alcanzaron la consagración internacional y llegaron a vender casi medio millón de copias de este material.
Historia
El nombre del disco proviene de la nota "Re", segunda nota musical. Ganó disco de oro en México por más de 40,000 copias vendidas. De esta producción se desprendió como sencillo "La Ingrata," cuyo video fue designado fue como El mejor video de 1994 en los MTV Video Music Awards. También se desprendieron otras importantes canciones que ya son clásicos de la banda: El Ciclón, Esa noche, Las Flores, El Metro, El baile y el salón y El puñal y el corazón
En el 2006, fue puesto en el #1 por la revista estadounidense Alborde en su lista de Los 250 álbumes más importantes del Rock Iberoamericano.
En este material la banda vuelve a colaborar con Gustavo Santaolalla, productor de su disco anterior. El disco maneja una gran paleta de instrumentación e incorporación de diversos estilos musicales en una misma canción pero sin perder el tono uniforme del disco, la temática del disco gira alrededor del reconocimiento de las diferencias culturales a través de lo cíclico del sonido. El disco inicia con El Aparato, para después seguirle La Ingrata, una parodia a la música norteña que fue el máximo hit del disco. Le siguen El Ciclón, una canción funk llevada por clavinet que hace eco a Billy Preston, El Borrego, canción con influencias en el metal y rock industrial en la que imitan y rinden tributo a otras bandas de la escena rock mexicana como Maldita Vecindad, y Esa Noche, un corte con características de bolero.
24 Horas, es una canción que habla sobre la agitada vida actual en la cuál a las personas no les da tiempo de realizar todo lo que se proponen y por tratar de alcanzar todos sus objetivos descuidan otras cosas que 'no se van a repetir'. El Fin de la Infancia es una pieza que utiliza instrumentos metálicos de viento a manera de banda sinaloense, a ritmo ska, se piensa que está inspirada en el libro del mismo nombre de Arthur C. Clarke. El Tlatoani Del Barrio cuenta la historia de como se conocieron los padres de Rubén Albarrán, vocalista de la banda.

Gratitude
Gratitude, thankfulness, gratefulness, or appreciation is a feeling or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive. Comparison with indebtedness
Gratitude is not the same as indebtedness. While both emotions occur following help, indebtedness occurs when a person perceives that they are under an obligation to make some repayment of compensation for the aid. The emotions lead to different actions; indebtedness can motivate the recipient of the aid to avoid the person who has helped them, whereas gratitude can motivate the recipient to seek out their benefactor and to improve their relationship with them.

Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Douglas Johnson (born May 2, 1972), also known by his ring name The Rock, is an American and Canadian actor, producer and semi-retired professional wrestler, signed with WWE. Johnson was a college football player for the University of Miami, winning a national championship on the 1991 Miami Hurricanes football team. He later played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, and was cut two months into the 1995 season. This led him to become a professional wrestler like his grandfather, Peter Maivia, and his father, Rocky Johnson (from whom he also inherited his Canadian citizenship). Through Maivia he is considered a non-blood relative of the Anoa'i wrestling family.
Originally billed as "Rocky Maivia", he gained mainstream fame in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF/E) from 1996 to 2004 as a major figure in the company's Attitude Era, and was the first third-generation wrestler in the company's history. He returned to wrestling part-time for WWE from 2011 to 2013 and continues to make sporadic non-wrestling appearances for the company. The Rock has had seventeen championship reigns in WWE, including ten as a world champion, winning the WWF/E Championship eight times and the WCW/World Championship twice. WWE.com described him as a 10-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He won the Intercontinental Championship twice and the WWF Tag Team Championship five times. He is the sixth Triple Crown Champion in WWE history, and won the 2000 Royal Rumble. The Rock was instrumental in helping the organization win the ratings war against the World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

En él la banda experimenta con diversos géneros musicales, desde la música regional mexicana, como el trío, la música norteña y banda, hasta otros tan diversos como el punk, el grunge, el samba brasileña y el ska jamaiquino. El disco fue ampliamente aclamado por la crítica e incluso ha sido comparado por diversos medios norteamericanos con el White Album de The Beatles debido a su genialidad musical, variedad, calidad y cantidad de temas. Con este alcanzaron la consagración internacional y llegaron a vender casi medio millón de copias de este material.
Historia
El nombre del disco proviene de la nota "Re", segunda nota musical. Ganó disco de oro en México por más de 40,000 copias vendidas. De esta producción se desprendió como sencillo "La Ingrata," cuyo video fue designado fue como El mejor video de 1994 en los MTV Video Music Awards. También se desprendieron otras importantes canciones que ya son clásicos de la banda: El Ciclón, Esa noche, Las Flores, El Metro, El baile y el salón y El puñal y el corazón
En el 2006, fue puesto en el #1 por la revista estadounidense Alborde en su lista de Los 250 álbumes más importantes del Rock Iberoamericano.
En este material la banda vuelve a colaborar con Gustavo Santaolalla, productor de su disco anterior. El disco maneja una gran paleta de instrumentación e incorporación de diversos estilos musicales en una misma canción pero sin perder el tono uniforme del disco, la temática del disco gira alrededor del reconocimiento de las diferencias culturales a través de lo cíclico del sonido. El disco inicia con El Aparato, para después seguirle La Ingrata, una parodia a la música norteña que fue el máximo hit del disco. Le siguen El Ciclón, una canción funk llevada por clavinet que hace eco a Billy Preston, El Borrego, canción con influencias en el metal y rock industrial en la que imitan y rinden tributo a otras bandas de la escena rock mexicana como Maldita Vecindad, y Esa Noche, un corte con características de bolero.
24 Horas, es una canción que habla sobre la agitada vida actual en la cuál a las personas no les da tiempo de realizar todo lo que se proponen y por tratar de alcanzar todos sus objetivos descuidan otras cosas que 'no se van a repetir'. El Fin de la Infancia es una pieza que utiliza instrumentos metálicos de viento a manera de banda sinaloense, a ritmo ska, se piensa que está inspirada en el libro del mismo nombre de Arthur C. Clarke. El Tlatoani Del Barrio cuenta la historia de como se conocieron los padres de Rubén Albarrán, vocalista de la banda.
