Woman gives best ever response to cheating husband

When this married woman received unwelcome advances from someone else's husband desperate to cheat on his wife with her, she didn't let him down easy. The conversation started out with a polite suggestion that they should go out some time, but turned into some serious life advice in next to no time.

The woman shared the text conversation to Imgur.

"Maybe we should go out some time?," suggested the man, which in isolation sounds innocent enough.

Clearly trying to be polite (at first), the woman replies, "Had I not a husband…You do seem like a catch and I mean that with all sincerity."

That's nice, right? He could walk away from that with his pride intact. She thinks he's great, but she's married.

But then he shows his hand as the slimy cheater he is, noting that it's okay that she's married, because so is he.

Wait. What?

But don't worry: "We just won't tell. It will be fun lol."

When the woman doesn't respond for 10 hours (because she's classy like that – I don't think I would have been able to stop myself), the man sends her a crying face emoji at almost midnight.

The next morning, the woman sends the most perfect burn imaginable.

"When I got diagnosed with cancer last year I didn't have the heart to tell my boys (whom I have always protected) that I could die," she began. "My husband had to look in their eyes and say I was sick. He subsequently took care of me during multiple surgeries, emptying drainage bags, giving me blood thinner shots, holding my hand while [I] was in pain and going to get chemo infusions.

"During this time there was a song lyric that would constantly loop in my head 'Love is watching someone die'. So my question to you is…Who is going to watch you die? Get your house in order and please stop messaging me."

And just like that, this woman has shown us what real love looks like, and that this man is far from the man her husband is.

Comments on her post were overwhelmingly supportive.

"Power moves only. Well played," said one.

"That went from tinder to scorched earth in a flash," said another.

The man in question could be in more trouble though, with one Imgur user recognising his icon image. "Oohh s************t, I know that guy!"
