Modern-day cover letter is your introduction—of any kind—to the employer.
There are essentially three ways this occurs:
1. Cover Letter
2. Email (with attached resume)
3. Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Your “cover letter” has three goals:
1. Explain why you’ve contacted the employer.
2. Provide insight on who you are and what you offer.
3. Show enthusiasm and interest in hearing (back) from the employer.

There are now countless tech options, many free, which can massively help blind people.
In the UK, 300,000 people are registered with a visual impairment, sight loss or blindness. Robin Christopherson, AbilityNet's head of digital inclusion, is completely blind and says technology has played a huge part in his ability to do his job and have a great life.
Robin uses many different apps and software – mainly free or very affordable - such as Zoomreader, which will turn a tablet or smartphone into an electronic magnifier. There's also KNFB reader which can read back any text you point it at, with incredible accuracy.
“One app I use every day is called Talking Goggles,” adds Robin. “It can recognise objects and text that you put underneath it. I use it for money I have in my pocket to pay a taxi driver for example, or to find the right credit cards. Knowing what's out there and making the most of it is hugely empowering.”

Visual perception
Visual perception is the ability to interpret the surrounding environment by processing information that is contained in visible light. The resulting perception is also known as eyesight, sight, or vision (adjectival form: visual, optical, or ocular). The lens of the eye focuses light on the photoreceptive cells of the retina, also known as the rods and cones, which detect the photons of light and respond by producing neural impulses. These signals are processed in a hierarchical fashion by different parts of the brain, from the retina upstream to central ganglia in the brain.

The Office is an American television sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin ("Dunder Mifflin a Division of Sabre" from mid season 6 to the end of season 8), a fictional paper supply company. There are essentially three ways this occurs:
1. Cover Letter
2. Email (with attached resume)
3. Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Your “cover letter” has three goals:
1. Explain why you’ve contacted the employer.
2. Provide insight on who you are and what you offer.
3. Show enthusiasm and interest in hearing (back) from the employer.

There are essentially three ways this occurs:

3. Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Your “cover letter” has three goals:

In the UK, 300,000 people are registered with a visual impairment, sight loss or blindness. Robin Christopherson, AbilityNet's head of digital inclusion, is completely blind and says technology has played a huge part in his ability to do his job and have a great life.
Robin uses many different apps and software – mainly free or very affordable - such as Zoomreader, which will turn a tablet or smartphone into an electronic magnifier. There's also KNFB reader which can read back any text you point it at, with incredible accuracy.
“One app I use every day is called Talking Goggles,” adds Robin. “It can recognise objects and text that you put underneath it. I use it for money I have in my pocket to pay a taxi driver for example, or to find the right credit cards. Knowing what's out there and making the most of it is hugely empowering.”

So, Hoop, I have to ask with that plunging neckline and the gorilla crawling out of your shirt. How does that work?

Ah, and you go to that gym. I see you check-in all that old. So yeah Steven Mann's tweets are kind of hot. He's really the analyst of analysts. The only thing is, did you guys see? You didn't, but here's this really cool app or application I saw today called OneDesk. And it takes engagement management, feedback, customer service, project development, support cast and social media monitoring and puts it in one tool.
What's it called again?
OneDesk. That being said it is the interface is junky looking, but you know you can skin anything, ask Michael Meyers.
Interface is continued, and we talked about this before, continued to be overrated. If it doesn't have the functionality and the power, everyone talks about, "Oh, it's gotta have this sexy UI.
It's gotta be delightful." Give me a break. If it doesn't scale and it doesn't work functionality I don't care how anything looks.
First off, Mrs. Hooper might scale, but she's damn sexy, so I know you can.

So again, I don't follow, I don't check out Skep’s site because I get everything to RSS feeds. I get all of the stuff plugged into me so I don't know what this new site looks like.
I think I will check it out.
