Fiction
Fiction is a term used to classify any story created by the imagination, rather than based strictly on history or fact. Fiction can be expressed in a variety of formats, including writings, live performances, films, television programs, video games, and role-playing games, though the term originally and most commonly refers to the major narrative forms of literature (see literary fiction), including the novel, novella, short story, and play. Fiction constitutes an act of creative invention, so that faithfulness to reality is not typically assumed; in other words, fiction is not expected to present only characters who are actual people or descriptions that are factually true. Avenged Sevenfold
Avenged Sevenfold (sometimes abbreviated as A7X) is an American heavy metal band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Synyster Gates, bass guitarist Johnny Christ and drummer Brooks Wackerman.
They are known for their diverse rock sound and dramatic imagery in album covers and merchandise. Avenged Sevenfold emerged with a metalcore sound on their debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet but their style had evolved by their third album and first major label release, City of Evil, into a heavy metal and hard rock style. The band continued to explore new sounds with their self-titled release and enjoyed continued mainstream success before their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, died in 2009. Despite his death, the band continued on with help of now-former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and released and toured in support of their fifth album Nightmare in 2010 which debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200, their first number one debut. Their latest record Hail to the King released in 2013 marked the only album featuring drummer Arin Ilejay. Hail to the King charted as #1 on the US Billboard 200, the UK albums chart, as well as the Finnish, Brazilian, Canadian, and Irish charts.

In the not too distant future strange craft will zoom across our skies. These are not UFOs, they’re not alien craft from another planet, these are machines developed and built by human engineers and designers. Today’s science fiction will become tomorrow’s reality. These are the aircraft of the future!
What you’re about to see is a glimpse into the future of aviation. Winged aircraft as we know them will soon be a thing of the past. Across the world designers are racing to create fantastic new aircraft that can fly humans higher, faster, and further than ever before. New military designs, airliners that can take us to the edge of space and around the planet in minutes, and new propulsion systems that will make the jet engine obsolete forever.
One casualty of this race for the future sits abandoned on an airfield, this fighter was more advanced than aircraft in service, but was already obsolete. It was the loser in the engineering competition of the century. In 1985 the United States Air Force demanded a new fighter plane, one that would incorporate the most up-to-date advances in stealth and agility. Two multibillion dollar designs by rival companies took to the air in a fight to the death. One was the Northrop YF-23, it had diamond shaped wings. The other was the Lockheed YF-22. The winner would become the backbone of the US Air Force, the loser a billion dollar pile of scrap.
A fierce fight was about to take place between the two most advanced fighter aircraft ever built. The test pilots fought to outperform each other. But after the YF-23’s wheels touched the ground it never flew again. With its greater performance and agility, the YF-22 was chosen to take the US Air Force into the next millennium. It is a truly remarkable craft, it is able to reach speeds and perform manoeuvres far beyond that of the front line fighter of the time, the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle.

Here is my next mix and I want to introduce it with a little story:
A few weeks ago a friend called me and said "Toby come over here, I must show you something!". I should add here that he is a crazy scientist and his name is Dr. von Braun. When I arrived there, he yelled "MY INVENTION WORKS! YES, IT WORKS!". Then he explained me that he invented something called 'Hux Flux Accelerator', which makes travelling through time possible! He built it into a brandnew BMW i8 which makes the whole thing even more awesome! He wanted to show me how it works, so he asked me where or better when I want to go. That was easy to answer. "Of course to the year 2303!" I said to him. We went there and stayed for a few days. Of course I wanted to see how clubbing evolved over the years. After some investigation I found the club 'Labor3k' here in Munich. We went there and I totally got blown away from the music! It was hard to convince the DJ but finally he gave me the tracks he played. So I'm very happy to present you music from the future! ...
Yeah I guess you know that did not really happen :) That's 'Science Fiction'. To me the most important genre of fantastic literature, which inspired a lot of people to invent great things, e.g. the communicator from Star Trek which led to mobile phones, etc.
Now some real facts: I've listened through about 4.500 tracks to find those here and overall I worked over 350 hours on this mix project! It files under my definition of Morning Psytrance, that is: DEEP, ATMOSPHERIC, HYPNOTIC, DRIVING, MELODIC & UPLIFTING (but never going cheesy) & NEVER TOO NOISY! Basically that means more Trance & less PsyFX noise, which makes it more Psychedelic in the end!
At least for me, this one here is the ULTIMATE Psytrance mix, which is far beyond anything I could ever imagine! Quite some tracks in here are in a very futuristic shape which I never heard before. I'm very happy about this fact, because basically I found something I was searching since ages but didn't know I do! It's so different that I would best describe this music as "Science Fiction Psytrance" coming from the future! That's also the idea behind title 'Science Fiction' and the story from above.

Die Jury des Science-Fiction-Wettbewerbs vermerkte in den Protokollen: "Im Gegensatz zur üblicherweise von Science-Fiction-Autoren bevorzugten Darstellung des Themas "Omnipotente Computer" als Hilfsmittel oder gar Lenker einer totalitären Gesellschaft ist es in dem Stück "Ausbruch" gelungen, sehr phantasievoll und schlüssig, dabei den Begriff Science fiction sehr genau ausfüllend, die Reproduktionsfähigkeit zukünftiger Computer-Generationen als ein Denkmodell vorzuführen, dessen gespenstische Dimensionen gleichwohl mit plausiblen naturwissenschaftlichen Erklärungsversuchen abgestützt werden".
Heinz-Joachim Frank, Jahrgang 1947, studiert in Karlsruhe Physik und Informatik und beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung eines Lesegerätes für Blinde mit akustischer Textausgabe. Er begann Science-fiction- Hörspiele zu schreiben aus Ärger über einige Exemplare dieser Gattung.
