The Bible (from Koine Greek τὰ βιβλία, tà biblía, "the books") is a collection of texts sacred in Judaism and Christianity. It is a collection of scriptures written at different times by different authors in different locations. Jews and Christians consider the books of the Bible to be a product of divine inspiration or an authoritative record of the relationship between God and humans.
There is no single canonical "Bible"; many Bibles have evolved, with overlapping and diverging contents. The Christian Old Testament overlaps with the Hebrew Bible and the Greek Septuagint; the Hebrew Bible is known in Judaism as the Tanakh. The New Testament is a collection of writings by early Christians, consisting of narratives, letters and apocalyptic writings. Among Christian denominations there is some disagreement about the contents of the canon, primarily in the Apocrypha, a list of works that are regarded with varying levels of respect.
Attitudes towards the Bible also vary amongst Christian groups. Roman Catholics, Anglicans and Eastern Orthodox Christians stress the harmony and importance of the Bible and sacred tradition, while Protestant churches focus on the idea of sola scriptura, or scripture alone. This concept arose during the Protestant Reformation, and many denominations today continue to support the use of the Bible as the only source of Christian teaching.

Altar
An altar is any structure upon which offerings such as sacrifices and worship are made for religious purposes. Altars are usually found at shrines, and they can be located in temples, churches and other places of worship. Today they are used particularly in Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shinto, Taoism, as well as in Neopaganism and Ceremonial Magic. Judaism used such a structure until the destruction of the Second Temple. Many historical faiths also made use of them, including Greek and Norse religion.

Hebrew Bible
Altars (Hebrew: מזבח, mizbe'ah, "a place of slaughter or sacrifice") in the Hebrew Bible were typically made of earth or unwrought stone. Altars were generally erected in conspicuous places. The first altar recorded in the Hebrew Bible is that erected by Noah. Altars were erected by Abraham, by Isaac, by Jacob, and by Moses, (Adonai-nissi).
After the theophany on Mount Sinai, in the Tabernacle—and afterwards in the Temple—only two altars were used: the Altar of Burnt Offering, and the Altar of Incense.

Altar call
An altar call is a practice in some evangelical Christian churches in which those who wish to make a new spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ are invited to come forward publicly. It is so named because the supplicants gather at the altar located at the front of the church building. In the Old Testament, an altar was where sacrifices were made. So, the name "altar call" refers to a believer "offering" themselves on an altar to God, as in Romans 12:1:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Most altar calls occur at the end of an evangelical address. The invitation may be referred to as an "altar call" even if there is no actual altar present. Many preachers make use of the altar call; notable examples include Billy Graham, Benny Hinn, Franklin Graham and Reinhard Bonnke. Congregations often sing a hymn, usually with a theme of invitation or decision, during the altar call. Some churches make use of the sinner's prayer, which people who come forward to be "saved" are asked to recite. It is sometimes said by the invitee that those who come forth are going to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. This is a ritual in which the supplicant makes a prayer asking for his sins to be forgiven, acknowledges Jesus as the risen Son of God and pledges his/her devotion to Jesus and to live thereafter following Christ's teachings. This is often called being born again.

Adam Zertal
Adam Zertal (b. 1936 - d. October 18, 2015) was an Israeli archaeologist.
Biography
Adam Zertal grew up in Ein Shemer, a kibbutz affiliated with the Hashomer Hatzair movement. Zertal was severely wounded in the Yom Kippur War. He later told a reporter for the Jerusalem Post, “I spent a year at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, and I became interested in archaeology. Although I had argued that the Bible was full of myths, I decided after my recovery to travel the land by foot to look for archeological evidence.”
Archaeology career
Zertal identified a structure on Mount Ebal as an early Israelite altar. He headed the excavations at El-ahwat, which he has identified as the Biblical Harosheth Haggoyim, a fortress described in the Book of Judges as the fortress or cavalry base of Sisera, commander of the army of King Jabin. (Judges 4)
In 2009, Zertal headed a team that discovered an Ancient underground quarry in the Jordan Valley.

In the seventh chapter of Matthew (21-23), Jesus warns, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven (shall). Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? (Haven't we had grown churches in your name? Haven't we written books in your name? Haven't we worn T-shirts and had sleepovers in your name?) And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness (sin, iniquity)!' ANY TEACHING that suggests that the Christian is "free from the law, oh happy condition; we may sin as we please and still have remission..." is a damnable lie and is much a perversion of God's word as the distortion breathed by the serpent in Eden's garden. ...Notice that the verse above does not say "I knew you but because of your lawlessness, I became forgetful." He says, "I NEVER KNEW YOU!" Examine yourselves to see if you're in the faith. Former Atheist Dr. Adam Zertal Finds Joshua's Altar and Proof For The Exodus (You can translate the captions into your own language) Dr. Adam Zertal, the chairman of Archaeology Department of the University of Haifa, found this altar on April 6, 1980 on Mount Ebal while doing an archaeological survey of the area. He was once an Atheist but quickly became a Christian after his own discovery, when asked about his find he replied, "We discovered this place, all covered with stones, in April 1980. At that time I never dreamt that we were dealing with the altar, because I was taught in Tel Aviv University – the center of anti-Biblical tendencies, where I learned that Biblical theories are untrue, and that Biblical accounts were written later, and the like. I didn't even know of the story of the Joshua’s altar. But we surveyed every meter of the site, and in the course of nine years of excavation, we discovered a very old structure with no parallels to anything we had seen before. It was 9 by 7 meters, and 4 meters high, with two stone ramps, and a kind of veranda, known as the 'sovev,' around." Deuteronomy 27:4, 5 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster. And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them. He found two seals or scarabs - both of which were made during the reign of Ramses the Second, the pharaoh believed to be reigning during the time of the Exodus. These two Egyptian scarabs found at the site are quite telling as they indirectly confirm the Exodus story exactly as the Bible says. These seals may have been part of the wealth or reparation that the Egyptians paid to the Hebrews when they were freed, which is documented in the Bible: Exodus 12;35, 36 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. Psalms 105:37, 38 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them. Mount Ebal was one of the first settlements of the Israelites once they left Egypt, had finally crossed the river Jordan and entered into the promised land. In response to this discovery, Dr. Lawrence Stager, Professor of the Archaeology of Israel at Harvard University had this to say, "If a sacrificial altar stood on Mt. Ebal, its impact on our research is revolutionary. All of us have to go back to kindergarten." This may have to be the case as Adam Zertal made it clear in this video that he had only stumbled upon this altar, because he was taught all his life that it was nonexistent. In the seventh chapter of Matthew (21-23), Jesus warns, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven (shall). Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? (Haven't we had grown churches in your name? Haven't we written books in your name? Haven't we worn T-shirts and had sleepovers in your name?) And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness (sin, iniquity)!' ANY TEACHING that suggests that the Christian is "free from the law, oh happy condition; we may sin as we please and still have remission..." is a damnable lie and is much a perversion of God's word as the distortion breathed by the serpent in Eden's garden. ...Notice that the verse above does not say "I knew you but because of your lawlessness, I became forgetful." He says, "I NEVER KNEW YOU!" Examine yourselves to see if you're in the faith. (2Cor 13:5)
Follow peace with all men, AND HOLINESS, WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD:

Former Atheist Dr. Adam Zertal Finds Joshua's Altar and Proof For The Exodus

Dr. Adam Zertal, the chairman of Archaeology Department of the University of Haifa, found this altar on April 6, 1980 on Mount Ebal while doing an archaeological survey of the area. He was once an Atheist but quickly became a Christian after his own discovery, when asked about his find he replied,
"We discovered this place, all covered with stones, in April 1980. At that time I never dreamt that we were dealing with the altar, because I was taught in Tel Aviv University – the center of anti-Biblical tendencies, where I learned that Biblical theories are untrue, and that Biblical accounts were written later, and the like. I didn't even know of the story of the Joshua’s altar. But we surveyed every meter of the site, and in the course of nine years of excavation, we discovered a very old structure with no parallels to anything we had seen before. It was 9 by 7 meters, and 4 meters high, with two stone ramps, and a kind of veranda, known as the 'sovev,' around."

Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
He found two seals or scarabs - both of which were made during the reign of Ramses the Second, the pharaoh believed to be reigning during the time of the Exodus. These two Egyptian scarabs found at the site are quite telling as they indirectly confirm the Exodus story exactly as the Bible says. These seals may have been part of the wealth or reparation that the Egyptians paid to the Hebrews when they were freed, which is documented in the Bible:
Exodus 12;35, 36
And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
Psalms 105:37, 38
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
Mount Ebal was one of the first settlements of the Israelites once they left Egypt, had finally crossed the river Jordan and entered into the promised land. In response to this discovery, Dr. Lawrence Stager, Professor of the Archaeology of Israel at Harvard University had this to say, "If a sacrificial altar stood on Mt. Ebal, its impact on our research is revolutionary. All of us have to go back to kindergarten." This may have to be the case as Adam Zertal made it clear in this video that he had only stumbled upon this altar, because he was taught all his life that it was nonexistent.
