Its been a while

Woaaaahh, hey!

Its been a very long time since we’ve update this but for those interested….we’re still around, still together ( <3 ) and recently met to talk about our future plans.

In the next few months we will be seeing each other more often ( we’re still in three different cities!), writing new music and preparing for a (for reals this time) summer tour!!!!

Our record is still available on our bandcamp: www.force-quit.bandcamp.com

You can also download it here for free: archive.org/download/FORCEQUIT7/FORCE%20QUIT%20-%207%22.zip

We also have the physical copies of the 7" in all three cities (Toronto, MTL and Philly), contact us at youshouldforcequit@gmail.com to get a copy in these cities.

UPDATE

Yowza, what a trip! In 4 quick days and restless nights we practised in Philadelphia, slept in dreamy Providence, recorded at DeadAirStudios in Amherst and finally made it to Boston for Smash It Dead.

When we weren’t on the road we enjoyed naps by a spring creek, bird watching, getting stoked on volcanic honey, talking about community, accountability and love, drinking ALL THE COFFEES, hunting for gluten free grub, sharing cultural histories by ponds and swooning over the Amory House.

Special thanks to Will of DeadAir, Sadie and everyone we met at Circle Amory, Krystina and all the wonderful organizers of Smash It Dead Fest, Rocio and Lindsay for the impromptu interview, Cerce and Parasol! for bearing with our punxfail and to Huasipungo for bringing several of us to tears. Nice tears tho, ya know, like tears of sweet, sad truth.

It was great to see some familiar faces, witness top notch bands play for a great cause and to quickly make new friends before we had to hit the highway once more.

What’s Next you Ask?
Stay Tuned for our 7” release in the near future!! and a few Shows in New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey!! hah! We promise we’ll be way tighter this time around.

Spring is Here, GET STOKED!!
over and out for now…

UPDATE!

Well, we left cold kkkanada for the mild temperatures of philly!

After almost not getting through the border and missing a bus, we all finally made it to America! And it was very nice to see each others faces. More like a working holiday, we spent almost a week in a basement in the biggest punk house ever, writing songs, eating burritos, drinking coffee and sharing laughs.

On our spare time we enjoyed fancy cappuccinos, eating australian snacks, eating veggie dogs on south street, playing with our phones, watching bad tv, hanging out with Little A, seeing a play, disturbing wee little Astrids sleeping patterns, getting to know the social little greta the cat, meeting everyone at Cindergarden AND CLIMBING THE ROCKY STEPS!

we had fun.

We will be returning to philly in february to finish writing new tunes and getting ready to record in Amherst (in March/April!). We will also be playing a couple of sweet fests in the US along with a small tour!

Once we’ve confirmed everything we will be updating this damn thing. STAY TUNED!
