Taken is a 2008 English-language French action thriller film directed by Pierre Morel, written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, and starring Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Leland Orser, Jon Gries, David Warshofsky, Holly Valance, Katie Cassidy, Xander Berkeley, Olivier Rabourdin, Gérard Watkins, and Famke Janssen.
Neeson plays a former CIA operative named Bryan Mills who sets about tracking down his daughter after she is kidnapped by human traffickers for sexual slavery while traveling in France. The film grossed more than $226 million. Numerous media outlets have cited the film as a turning point in Neeson's career that redefined and transformed him to an action film star. A sequel, Taken 2, was released on 5 October 2012, and a third and final film, Taken 3, was released on 9 January 2015.
Plot
Retired CIA field operative Bryan Mills attempts to build a closer relationship with his daughter, Kim, who lives with her mother, Lenore, and her wealthy stepfather, Stuart. While overseeing security at a concert for pop star Sheerah, Bryan saves her from a violent stalker. As a token of gratitude, Sheerah offers to assess Kim's talent as a singer. Before Bryan can tell Kim, she asks her father for permission to travel to Paris with her best friend, Amanda. He initially refuses, but eventually agrees after Lenore pressures him. At the airport, he learns the girls are actually following U2 during their European tour, something Lenore knew but kept from him.

MEDIA+SPACE AS INTERACTIVE WALK-IN MOVIE Pavilion Acciona EXPO 2008 Zaragoza DESCRIPTION The design of the Acciona Pavilion in Expo Zaragoza 2008, is developed on the basis of a spiral, the symbol of transformation and change. The space has 1065 square meters and it is divided in the zones: Earth, Water and Air. The first two areas present the actual problems that society encounters today and the urgent need to reach a drastic change. This change will take form in the third zone Air, through all the measures that Acciona is implementing, in order to make a better life for today and tomorrow. DETAILS In contrast to the zone Earth, the next zone of the pavilion, Water, is an open and vast interactive space composed by three projections that cover a wall surface of 108 square meters and 10 projections that cover a floor surface of 300 square meters. Designed by the german film artist Marc Tamschick, this space is created for feeling, thinking, and experimenting with sensations. This is an environment where the visitor will be immersed in an imaginary world where each action taken by him, has an immediate effect on the environment. The interaction with the projected graphic elements on the floor is done by simple movements of the visitors and it allows them to be involved in the space in a very joyful manner. A series of imaginary scenarios give the public the chance to be conscious about the need of each individual, to take action in a collective manner, in order to achieve significant changes in our environment. This is a collection of pictures taken in 2008 starting at the beginning of the year. Most of these pictures Brittany took and some were taken by other people. one year i'll have a camera again and the photos will be more about me and my life and how i experienced it. what i've realized about 2008 is that i drank a lot and shotgunned lots of beers considering not even the majority of beers that were shotgunned were documented. all in all, 2008 was a fun year. big shoes 2009. you're doing great so far.

KERKYRA 2008 - The film (Corfu)
Kerkyra 2008 THiS film shows some experiences about Corfu. What was taken by a Sanyo HD1000 camera. I used: - Manfrotto 055CLB tripod - Giottos 5001 head - self made MMM-steady V1 steadicam - 3pcs. sticky-pod for car mount - polarizing filter - sometimes an Aiwa external stereo microphone Sorry for the weird quality, but the film is 25 minutes and vimeo limits 500MB per film. This and vimeo gives only 1.3Mbit average bandwidth which is very poor for HD quality.

I was offered a job at Pixar at the end of 2009 and started in februrary 2010, woohoo! :D

Pavilion Acciona EXPO 2008 Zaragoza
DESCRIPTION
The design of the Acciona Pavilion in Expo Zaragoza 2008, is developed on the basis of a spiral, the symbol of transformation and change. The space has 1065 square meters and it is divided in the zones: Earth, Water and Air. The first two areas present the actual problems that society encounters today and the urgent need to reach a drastic change. This change will take form in the third zone Air, through all the measures that Acciona is implementing, in order to make a better life for today and tomorrow.
DETAILS
In contrast to the zone Earth, the next zone of the pavilion, Water, is an open and vast interactive space composed by three projections that cover a wall surface of 108 square meters and 10 projections that cover a floor surface of 300 square meters.
Designed by the german film artist Marc Tamschick, this space is created for feeling, thinking, and experimenting with sensations. This is an environment where the visitor will be immersed in an imaginary world where each action taken by him, has an immediate effect on the environment. The interaction with the projected graphic elements on the floor is done by simple movements of the visitors and it allows them to be involved in the space in a very joyful manner. A series of imaginary scenarios give the public the chance to be conscious about the need of each individual, to take action in a collective manner, in order to achieve significant changes in our environment.

This is a collection of pictures taken in 2008 starting at the beginning of the year. Most of these pictures Brittany took and some were taken by other people. one year i'll have a camera again and the photos will be more about me and my life and how i experienced it. what i've realized about 2008 is that i drank a lot and shotgunned lots of beers considering not even the majority of beers that were shotgunned were documented. all in all, 2008 was a fun year. big shoes 2009. you're doing great so far.

This is a rough edit of Dani Comas training at his secret location in Barcelona. The rocks ridden are quite gnar. Was hard to walk them and filming was even more difficult but Dani carves it up.

- sometimes an Aiwa external stereo microphone
Sorry for the weird quality, but the film is 25 minutes and vimeo limits 500MB per film. This and vimeo gives only 1.3Mbit average bandwidth which is very poor for HD quality.
