Chris Zane

Chris Zane is an American music producer, engineer and mixer based in New York City. He's worked with an array of artists such as The Walkmen, Holy Ghost!, Passion Pit and Friendly Fires.

Biography

Zane studied music most of his life, his principal instrument is the drums. He attended music school for a brief period before turning his focus to studio work. Whilst he still plays on the occasional project of which he's producing, his focus has become more centered on production and programming. Zane began his production career in 2000 in NYC recording bands including Ambulance Ltd, Calla, and Les Savy Fav. In 2008 he recorded and mixed The Walkmen's You & Me, produced a song on Tokyo Police Club's debut album Elephant Shell, and spent some time in Berlin producing UK rock band The Rakes' final album KLANG. In late fall of 2008 through early winter of 2009 he produced the critically acclaimed debut album Manners by Passion Pit. The last few years has seen him produce records for Holy Ghost!, Friendly Fires, New Zealand pop songstress Ruby Frost, and Devin. In 2012 Zane co-wrote and co-produced the song "Circles" with Michael Angelakos, for Nelly Furtado, as well as produced, mixed and played drums on, the highly anticipated sophomore album Gossamer by Passion Pit. Currently he has just finished producing the début album for Pacific Air, mixing an album for Australian band Jinja Safari, and producing some songs for UK pop singer Chlöe Howl.

Zane Lowe

Zane Lowe (born 7 August 1973) is a New Zealand-born, award-winning radio DJ, Live DJ, record producer and television presenter.

After an early career in music making, production and DJing in New Zealand, he moved to the UK in 1997, coming to prominence through presenting on XFM and MTV Europe, before hosting a new global music show on BBC Radio 1 from 2003–2015. He now hosts his own show on Apple's international radio station, Beats 1. Lowe has also developed a high-profile DJ career, with sets at various concerts and as a warm-up act for touring bands.

Lowe currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Kara and their two sons.

Early career

Born in Auckland, New Zealand, in his early years he was a presenter on local music station Max TV. Zane was a member of Breaks Co-op, alongside Andy Lovegrove and Hamish Clark. Lowe and Clark formed Breaks Co-Op in Auckland, releasing the electronic album Roofers in 1997 before they both left New Zealand to travel and pursue other interests. Both ended up developing their careers in the UK.

Chris Martin

Christopher Anthony John "Chris" Martin (born 2 March 1977) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the band Coldplay.

Early life and education

Christopher Anthony John Martin was born in Whitestone, Devon, England, and is the eldest of five children. His father, Anthony Martin, is a retired accountant, and his mother, Alison Martin, is a music teacher. His family's business was Martins of Exeter until sold by his father in 1999.William Willett, the man who campaigned for and made daylight saving time a recognized practice, was Martin's great-great-grandfather.

Martin was educated at the pre-preparatory Hylton School and the preparatory Exeter Cathedral School where he found his passion for music. After Exeter Cathedral School, Martin boarded at Sherborne School in Dorset, where he met future Coldplay manager Phil Harvey.

Martin continued his studies at University College London (UCL), staying at Ramsay Hall, where he read Ancient World Studies and graduated with first-class honours in Greek and Latin. At UCL, he met future Coldplay bandmates Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Guy Berryman.

Zane

Zane /ˈzeɪn/ is a name of Semitic origin. A variant of Jon from Hebrew, meaning "God's gracious gift". The name is also of Arabic origins meaning "Good" in its masculine form and "Beautiful" in its feminine form. In English-speaking countries it is used as both a given name and surname. Variant written forms in English include: Zain, Zaine and Zayne. Zane is a popular American boy's name.

Zane (Latvian pronunciation: [zane]) is also a Latvian girl's name, which is derived from Zuzanna, a name originating from Hebrew Shoshannah meaning white waterlily.

Caylen Croft

Kris Pavone (born May 2, 1980) is an American elementary school teacher, retired professional wrestler and children's book author and illustrator. He is best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he wrestled under the ring name Caylen Croft. He was one half of the Dude Busters tag team with Trent Barreta.

Pavone debuted in 2001 using the name Chris Cage. After two years on the independent circuit, he signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and was assigned to the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) territory. In OVW, he won the Southern Tag Team Championship four times (three times with Tank Toland and once with Mike Mizanin) and the Heavyweight Championship once. He was released from his WWE developmental contract in March 2006 before being re-signed in 2008. He competed for the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory, where he won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship twice, and debuted for the ECW brand in December 2009.
