SAVE OUR NATIONAL MONUMENTS FROM TRUMP
Trump's attack on our national monuments is hitting high gear. After first putting a bull's-eye on Utah's Bears Ears, he's now lining up the rest of his targets. The 27 monuments on the chopping block cover more than 1 billion acres of America's most spectacular, culturally important and ecologically intact public lands and oceans. The places they protect range from the waters off the coast of Hawaii to Maine's Katahdin woods.
By ordering Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to "review" these national monuments, Trump has made clear his intent: to rescind or shrink the monuments and open them up to oil and gas drilling and other forms of development. Please tell Trump that his executive order and unprecedented "review" are immoral and dangerous — and help us keep our monuments protected for future generations.
The Center for Biological Diversity works through science, law and creative media to secure a future for all species, great or small, hovering on the brink of extinction. Learn more about the Center for Biological Diversity.

Public Lands Enemies

The Politics of Extinction
Despite its success, the Endangered Species Act is under attack like never before. Congressional Republicans have launched a barrage of legislative assaults on endangered species in recent years, seeking to block, remove or weaken their protections.
