Albany Highway closed after serious multi car crash

There's been a serious accident near Boscabel involving multiple vehicles.

The crash occurred at around 2.48pm near the intersection of Boscabel-Chittinup Road on Albany Highway.

It is understood multiple cars were involved in the collision, and the RAC Rescue Helicopter has taken a woman to Bunbury Regional Hospital.

Albany Highway has been closed as a result of the incident, and Main Roads WA have advised drivers to exercise caution and avoid the area.

Firefighters and St John Ambulance are currently at the crash site.
