Moushumi Chatterjee (26 April 1953; Bengali: মৌসুমি চ্যাটার্জী; Moushumi Chāţārjī) is a Bollywood actress, who has also acted in Bengali cinema. She worked with actors like Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Jeetendra and Vinod Mehra.
Chatterjee was born in Calcutta. Her father Prantosh Chattopadhyaya was in the Army. She had a sister and a brother. Her grandfather was a judge. She is married to Jayant Mukherjee (son of Hemant Kumar). They have two daughters, Payal and Megha. She started to act in Bollywood movies after her marriage, which was quite unusual for women during that time.
Moushumi Chatterjee was never considered to have conventional beauty, yet she was considered one of the most beautiful faces to hit the Hindi screen in the 1970s. She made her film debut in the Bengali hit, Balika Badhu (1969) directed by Tarun Majumdar. Her debut as heroine in the Hindi film Anuraag (1973) came courtesy of another famous Bengali director, Shakti Samanta. She played a blind girl who falls in love, and her performance earned her a Filmfare nomination as Best Actress. The film won the Filmfare Award as Best Picture. That led to another huge hit film, where played a rape survivor in Manoj Kumar's Roti Kapada Aur Makaan (1974). Her rape sequence in the film is still considered to be one of the most disturbing scenes in Hindi cinema. Her performance earned her a Filmfare Nomination as Best Supporting Actress. That led to more starring roles opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan in the thriller Benaam (1974) and Basu Chatterjee's film Manzil (1979). She did more Hindi and Bengali hit films and, by the 1980s, she made the transition to character roles of mother and bhabhi (sister-in-law).
Moushumi (Bengali:মৌসুমী) is a Bangladeshi film actor and director, who was awarded the National Film Award for Meghla Akash (2002). She has acted in over 150 films and made her directorial debut with Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti (2003)
Mousumi came to film industry after winning the Anonda Bitichattra Photo beauty contest. She also appeared in Bangladesh television banner in the year 1990 when Meril skin care cream and Spin rain shampoo advertisement that was released at the moment; and the audience were impressed with the TV advertisement creator and model Mousumi. However Mousumi's name was not popular that time before her first movie Keyamat Thake Keyamat making time audience know that Mousumi going to a great actress in Bangladesh.
Keyamat Thake Keyamat film was her very popular box office hit movie in Bangladesh. After that Mousumi's career developed rapidly. After in the year 1993 she acted in many movies. Most movies were box office hits. Bangladeshi Actress Mousumi is also performing her own named movie Mousumi. In the Mousumi film, she is both an actress and a singer from childhood. She was also fan of fashion. But in the year 1996 she stopped acting in films for some time and announced that she will be marrying actor Omar Sani. After six months Moushumi again came back in front the camera. By that time she still had great acting skills. Again Bangladeshi actress Mousumi proved that she was a real actress. Sometimes she also performs in TV drama. She is acting with Bangladeshi famous actors Afjal Hossain, Jahid Hassain, Towkir, Bipasha and Mahafuz etc. She sings in a magazine celebration with Robi Chowdhary. She has also released an audio album too. She acted in Golapi Ekhon Bilatey (2006), opposite Mithun Chakraborty.
Sanjeev Kumar (Hindi: संजीव कुमार; 9 July 1938 – 6 November 1985) was one of the most prominent Indian actors in Bollywood.
Sanjeev Kumar was born as Haribhai Jariwala in Gujarat to a Gujarati family. His first home was in Surat and family based in Mumbai. A stint in the film school took him to Bollywood, where he eventually became a movie star. He remained a bachelor all his life and died of a massive heart attack in 1985. He has two younger brothers and a sister.
Sanjeev Kumar made his debut in the film Hum Hindustani in 1960. Sanjeev's first film as a hero was the 1965 Nishan. In 1968, he played opposite the famous actor Dilip Kumar in Sangharsh. In 1970, Khilona made him a star. He went on to star in the hits Seeta Aur Geeta (1972) and Manchali (1973). He started working with the well-known director Gulzar in the early 1970s. He did nine films with Gulzar, including Aandhi (1975), Mausam (1975), Angoor (1981) and Namkeen (1982). Many of his fans believe that these are some of the best films that he did.
Deven Varma is an Indian film and television actor, particularly known for his comic roles, with directors like Basu Chatterji, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Gulzar . He has also produced and directed some films including Besharam. He has won Filmfare Best Comedian Award three times for Chori Mera Kaam, Chor Ke Ghar Chor and Angoor, the last being directed by Gulzar and still considered one of Bollywood's best comedies.
Born on 23 October, and brought up in Pune, where he studied at of the Nowrosjee Wadia College for Arts and Science (University of Pune), (1953–57), graduating with Honours in Politics and Sociology. He is married to Rupa Gangly, daughter of late veteran Bollywood actor, Ashok Kumar and sister of Preeti Ganguly

Shashi Kapoor (Hindi: शशि कपूर), born Balbir Raj Prithviraj Kapoor on 18 March 1938 in Calcutta (now Kolkata), is an award-winning Indian film actor and film producer. He has also been film director and assistant director in Hindi Films. He is a member of the Kapoor family, a film dynasty in India's Bollywood cinema. He is the younger brother of Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor, the son of Prithviraj Kapoor, the widower of Jennifer Kendal, and the father of Karan Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, and Sanjana Kapoor.
He is remembered for many hit Hindi films like Jab Jab Phool Khile, Kanyadaan, Pyar Ka Mausam, Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati , Haseena Maan Jayegi, Sharmeelee, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Fakira, Phaansi, Chor Machaye Shor, Mukti, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Heeralal Pannalal, Junoon, Swayamvar and many such films, including ones he starred in with Pran like Chori Mera Kaam, Phaansi, Shankar Dada, Chakkar Pe Chakkar and with Amitabh Bachchan, such as Deewar, Namak Halaal.
He has also played leading roles in a number of English-speaking Indian films, including the very first Merchant Ivory production The Householder followed by such as Shakespeare-Wallah, Bombay Talkie, Heat and Dust, etc. In 2011, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.
