"Battle Of The Garages" Vol. 3 - 1984 - The Paisley Underground
Featuring Southern California's Garage Gods. The 1980s brought a resurgence of interest in 1960s Psychedelic/Garage rock that arguably had its epicenter in Los Angeles with the “Paisley Underground”. Greg Shaw of Bomp! Records, after success nurturing the Pebbles compilations of obscure 1960s home-grown singles, created Voxx records to document the best of the ’80s Garage revival, and created the compilation series Battle Of The Garages to show off the cream of the crop.trax:

Ty for sharing these compilations ..how many are there in the series?
thanks again guys sterling work
tomorrow Vol 4 is the last one.
And a big thanks, RYP, for all four volumes of BOTG!
Thanks for the great comps! (And all your work)
I had this album! Great to see it posted here. I sold it along with most of my other Voxx/Bomp stuff during the recession of the early '90s when I was young, poor, and short on cash. The first version of Love's "No Matter What You Do" that I ever heard was the cover version on this LP, and I prefer it. Since I haven't actually heard it since summer 1990, I look forward to hearing it once again.
Thank you RYP!
Thanks RYP for the Battle Of The Garages Vol. 3.
