Nick Jameson's musicianship was far ahead of his time. To my recollection, he was incorporating funk chops with rock before anyone else. His feel is what moved me when these records came on the radio (records were something we had when I was a kid...). He also had the vision for Foghat at that particular moment in time - as producer he came up with brilliant parts and arrangements.
In this performance, he delights us with three different acts: a rap piece to make us reflect on how we apply purpose and meaning in our life (only a breath away), a more funny piece dedicated to Iceland and its wonders, and lastly a beautiful song that he plays on Sarah, his mandolin.

Nick Jameson
Nick Jameson (born December 5, 1964) is an American actor and voice actor, as well as a songwriter, composer, musician and record producer.
Early life
Jameson was born in Columbia, Missouri, and was raised primarily in Philadelphia.
Career
He has appeared in the television series Mission Hill, The Critic, 24, Lost, The King of Queens and, vocally, in Star Wars: Clone Wars as Palpatine, Darts D'Nar in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the radio adaption of Dark Empire, and several other productions of Star Wars. He has over 114 film credits. He has also voiced in Spider-Man: The Animated Series as Richard Fisk and Morbius, and provided the voice of Max in the cult-classic video game Sam & Max Hit the Road. He also voiced Lloyd in "Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits." Recently, his voice was featured in the video game Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops as Colonel Skowronski. He voiced Jim Dear in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure. He also voiced as Aldar Beedo in the video game Star Wars: Episode I Racer. In 2012, he voiced the character Toxic Reapa from the miniseries Hero Factory. He voices Marshall Dune in the point-and-click adventure Broken Age.

Already Free
Already Free is the ninth studio album by The Derek Trucks Band. It was released in the US on January 13, 2009 by Legacy Recordings. A European release followed on February 20, 2009. The album has received very positive reviews, and debuted at #19 on the Billboard Top 200 reached #1 on the blues chart, #1 on the Internet chart, and #4 on the Rock chart. This marks the band's highest debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart to date. The album won the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album, marking the band's first Grammy award.
The first single, "Down in the Flood", was released on November 4, 2008. Guest musicians include Doyle Bramhall II, Oteil Burbridge, Susan Tedeschi, and Eric Krasno (of Soulive). The song "Back Where I Started" was co-written by Trucks with fellow Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes.
Trucks' thoughts on the album
Derek Trucks was interviewed by the Washington Post upon the release of Already Free. The interviewer commented that in comparison to past albums by The Derek Trucks Band, this record reflects a more mature sound. Trucks himself responded by commenting that the album has a different feeling because in the past he always felt pressure to make a "guitar album". The difference, he maintains, is that the band has had more time to mature, and the album's sound is more balanced between the different contributions of its members, who developed its overall effect as they arranged the songs that were recorded for this album.

He brought such a unique character to life with his amazing and very talented voice and Michael Morbius is defiantly a favorite of mine because of his portrayal of the character. I was also surprised to learn that not only did he voice Michale Morbius but he was also the voice of the sinister Richard Fisk son of the Kingpin of Crime. Richard isn't see a whole lot in the series but when we do see him whomever crosses his path is in for a world of unexpected and unwanted villainy. The (1994) Spider-Man was just one of many projects Nick has lent his voice for he also played Sheriff Lewis on the animated movie Clifford's Really Big Movie, and played another super evil villain called Palpatine/Darth Sidious on the (2003) Cartoon Network show called Star Wars: Clone Wars not to be confused with Cartoon Networks, Star Wars: The Clone Wars yes the "The" is the only difference well and the animation style and about half or so of the cast being replaced but yes lol the show names are almost identical. Anyways, todays adventure is sure to get your blood pumping but beware there is a vampire on the loose named Michale Morbius. INFO: Elizabeth was an American psychedelic rock/progressive rock band that were active from 1967 to 1970. They were based out of Philadelphia and known for their unique musical and sonic blend of Baroque Music,Classical Music, Folk Music, American Rock, British Rock, Country Music, and Ragtime.
In 1968, the band recorded and released their self-titled album on Vanguard Records (produced by Sam Charters). Vanguard's artist roster at the time included Joan Baez, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Country Joe and the Fish. Elizabeth performed with Cream, Blue Cheer, Joni Mitchell, Ritchie Havens, The Chambers Brothers and many other musical luminaries of that era. Some of the bands' many Philadelphia area performances included concerts and sets at: The Main Point, The Second Fret, The Electric Factory, and most Be-INs at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.
As the band was starting to come together (nameless at that point), Steve and Robert "Stewkey" Antoni, band mates from Newport, RI, made an unexpected stop in Philadelphia on their way to Florida. After a week in the City of brotherly love, they decided to forgo Florida and help form Elizabeth. Some interesting guitarists auditioned for the band, including future rock star Todd Rundgren who was with Woody's Truck Stop at the time; and, Nick Jameson, soon to be a founder and guitarist of The American Dream (both were Philly bands).
Within a month or so of landing in Philadelphia, Stewkey left Elizabeth to join Todd's new band, The Nazz. Of note, Linda Cohen, a Philadelphia classical guitarist, was Elizabeth's first drummer (briefly). During the spring and summer of 1969, she teamed up with Michael Kac from Mandrake Memorial and, together, performed as a classical-pop fusion guitar-harpsichord duo. Linda died in 2009 of lung cancer. Mandrake Memorial and Elizabeth shared the stage many times. [info from Retro Revolution]

Join me as today we take flight with a different cast member from the Spider-Man The Animated Series. Today we are speaking with Nick Jameson who is best known as Michael Morbius and Richard Fisk the Kingpins son. During the course of the show we see a human Michael turn into a Vampire due to a neogenics experiment gone wrong. We also see a relationship blossom with Michael and learn of his undying love and passion for Felicia Harding aka Black Cat. The character of Michael Morbius we placed in my mind by the one and only Nick Jameson. He brought such a unique character to life with his amazing and very talented voice and Michael Morbius is defiantly a favorite of mine because of his portrayal of the character. I was also surprised to learn that not only did he voice Michale Morbius but he was also the voice of the sinister Richard Fisk son of the Kingpin of Crime. Richard isn't see a whole lot in the series but when we do see him whomever crosses his path is in for a world of unexpected and unwanted villainy. The (1994) Spider-Man was just one of many projects Nick has lent his voice for he also played Sheriff Lewis on the animated movie Clifford's Really Big Movie, and played another super evil villain called Palpatine/Darth Sidious on the (2003) Cartoon Network show called Star Wars: Clone Wars not to be confused with Cartoon Networks, Star Wars: The Clone Wars yes the "The" is the only difference well and the animation style and about half or so of the cast being replaced but yes lol the show names are almost identical. Anyways, todays adventure is sure to get your blood pumping but beware there is a vampire on the loose named Michale Morbius. INFO: Elizabeth was an American psychedelic rock/progressive rock band that were active from 1967 to 1970. They were based out of Philadelphia and known for their unique musical and sonic blend of Baroque Music,Classical Music, Folk Music, American Rock, British Rock, Country Music, and Ragtime.
In 1968, the band recorded and released their self-titled album on Vanguard Records (produced by Sam Charters). Vanguard's artist roster at the time included Joan Baez, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Country Joe and the Fish. Elizabeth performed with Cream, Blue Cheer, Joni Mitchell, Ritchie Havens, The Chambers Brothers and many other musical luminaries of that era. Some of the bands' many Philadelphia area performances included concerts and sets at: The Main Point, The Second Fret, The Electric Factory, and most Be-INs at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.
As the band was starting to come together (nameless at that point), Steve and Robert "Stewkey" Antoni, band mates from Newport, RI, made an unexpected stop in Philadelphia on their way to Florida. After a week in the City of brotherly love, they decided to forgo Florida and help form Elizabeth. Some interesting guitarists auditioned for the band, including future rock star Todd Rundgren who was with Woody's Truck Stop at the time; and, Nick Jameson, soon to be a founder and guitarist of The American Dream (both were Philly bands).
Within a month or so of landing in Philadelphia, Stewkey left Elizabeth to join Todd's new band, The Nazz. Of note, Linda Cohen, a Philadelphia classical guitarist, was Elizabeth's first drummer (briefly). During the spring and summer of 1969, she teamed up with Michael Kac from Mandrake Memorial and, together, performed as a classical-pop fusion guitar-harpsichord duo. Star Wars: Clone Wars is an American animated microseries created by Genndy Tartakovsky, set in the Star Wars universe. Chronologically, the series fills the three-year gap between prequel films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The show follows the actions of various characters in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, notably Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu,Yoda, and other Jedi Knights during the conflict, leading the clone trooper forces of the Galactic Republic against the battle droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Sith.
The series was produced by Cartoon Network Studios in association with Lucasfilm Ltd., and was aired both online and on Cartoon Network in 25 chapters from 2003 to 2005. Star Wars: Clone Wars is an American animated microseries created by Genndy Tartakovsky, set in the Star Wars universe. Chronologically, the series fills the three-year gap between prequel films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The show follows the actions of various characters in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, notably Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu,Yoda, and other Jedi Knights during the conflict, leading the clone trooper forces of the Galactic Republic against the battle droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Sith.
The series was produced by Cartoon Network Studios in association with Lucasfilm Ltd., and was aired both online and on Cartoon Network in 25 chapters from 2003 to 2005. The first two seasons, comprising Volume One, were produced in a two to three minute "micro" format, while season three was produced as fifteen-minute episodes making up Volume Two. Both volumes were later released on home video edited as feature-length films. Since release, it has received critical acclaim and was ranked 21 on IGN's Top 100 Animated Series list.
