The first format to be raced at Super League Hamilton Island is Triple Mix, which tests the versatility and adaptability of athletes by challenging them to complete three stages of all three disciplines with a maximum ten-minute break between stages.
Triple Mix will require athletes to complete three stages, as follows:
● Stage 1 - Swim (300m), Bike (6km), Run (2km)
● Stage 2 - Run (2km), Bike (6km), Swim (300m)
● Stage 3 - Bike (6km), Swim (300m), Run (2km)
A ten minute countdown to the start of the next stage will commence from the time that the first athlete crosses the finish line in the previous stage. Athletes finishing behind the first athlete in each stage will have less than ten minutes until the start of the next stage.
For some extra spice, athletes will also compete for time bonuses in each stage of Triple Mix. In Stage 1, athletes will compete for a 5-second time bonus for the first athlete out of the swim leg. In Stage 2, the first athlete to finish the run course will be awarded a 5-second time bonus and for Stage 3 the first athlete to start the last lap will receive a 5-second time bonus. These time bonuses are deducted from an athlete’s cumulative time across all three stages of Triple Mix. A single athlete can win more than one time bonus, if they are able to!
The winner of Triple Mix is determined by the athlete’s cumulative time, including any time bonuses awarded, across Stages 1, 2, and 3.

The Equalizer is one of the featured formats in Super League Triathlon’s inaugural event on Hamilton Island. It is a two-stage race comprising an individual cycling time trial in Stage One in the morning, and a swim-run-swim-bike-run sequence as Stage Two in the afternoon. To make it really interesting, athletes must serve a time penalty in Stage Two that is equivalent to any time lost to the winner of Stage One.
The winner of Equalizer is the first athlete to cross the finish line in Part Two.

Most of you know Stan Efferding for a few reasons. He is known as one of the strongest bodybuilders of all time. He is also known for his recent appearance on Shark Tank and the success of his product The Kooler. And above all else - he was one hell of a bodybuilder, strongest or not. Now Efferding is taking part in the creation of a brand new league in bodybuilding - one that looks to change the game when it comes to how bodybuilders actually compete.
Mixing powerlifting/strongman with bodybuilding aesthetics, the new Super League will have bodybuilders be judged based not only their physique but also for their strength and performance. They will be tasked with lifting in competition while also looking aesthetically pleasing. This means no drying out before a big competition. It also means you cannot look like a hulking strongman in order to put up more pounds.
I found this new league to be very interesting and, if done right, a great way to inject much more energy into an already prestigious sport. That's why I sat down with Stan Efferding to talk in more detail about this new league. You can check it out in our interview above.

Οριστικό «τέλος» στις ελπίδες του Ηρακλή για παραμονή στην Super League, έβαλε σήμερα το Διαιτητικό Δικαστήριο της ΕΠΟ.
Το αρμόδιο όργανο απέεριψε με ψήφους 5-0 την προσφυγή του «γηραιού» για να ανατραπεί η απόφαση της Super League, σύμφωνα με την οποία ο Ηρακλής -αν και αγωνιστικά εξασφάλισε την παραμονή του- κατέλαβε την προτελευταία θέση στο πρωτάθλημα που ολοκληρώθηκε.
Ανάλογη «τύχη» είχε και η σχετική προσφυγή που είχε καταθέσει ο Αρης, η οποία απερρίφθη με ψήφους 4-1, κάτι που επί της ουσίας σημαίνει πως ο Λεβαδειακός θα είναι η ομάδα που θα συμμετάσχει και στο νέο πρωτάθλημα της Super League.

Super League
Super League, officially the First Utility Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the top-level professional rugby league club competition in Europe. The league has twelve teams: eleven from England and one from France. The current champions are Leeds Rhinos.
Super League began in 1996, replacing the RFL Championship and switching from a winter to a summer season. Each team plays 23 games between February and July: 11 home games, 11 away games and a Magic Weekend game at a neutral venue. At the end of the season, the top eight teams enter a Super 8 stage, playing each other once more. The top four then enter the play-off series leading to the Grand Final (formerly Championship Final) which determines the champions.
The Super League champions play the National Rugby League (NRL) champions from Australasia in the World Club Challenge.
History
1996–2001: Establishment
The competition was first mooted during the Australian Super League war as a way for Rupert Murdoch to gain the upper hand during the battle for broadcasting supremacy with the Australian Rugby League. Murdoch also approached the British clubs to form Super League. A large sum of money aided the decision, and the competition got under way in 1996. Stan Efferding
Stan "The White Rhino" Efferding (born November 6, 1967 in Portland, Oregon) is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder and a powerlifter competing in the Southern Powerlifting Federation (SPF). He currently holds the all-time raw world powerlifting records in the 275-pound-class in the Total without knee wraps (w/o 2,226.6 lbs) and in the Squat without knee wraps (854 lbs).
Bodybuilding & Powerlifting career
Stan Efferding, born November 6, 1967 in Portland, Oregon, graduated from University of Oregon. He had a college scholarship to play soccer, but he decided to go to University of Oregon, where he studied Psychology.
Efferding competed in bodybuilding since 1988 winning the Mr. Oregon in 1991, placing 6th in the Jr. USA in 1992 and placing 2nd in the Emerald Cup in 1996 and 1997. Efferding started competing in powerlifting in 1996 totaling over 2,000 lbs in the Pepsi Region 8 challenge, deadlifting 782 lbs raw.
In 1997 Efferding stopped competing in both sports in order to pursue business opportunities, but continued lifting.

Super League Hamilton Island Day 2 Equalizer [FULL SHOW]
The Equalizer is one of the featured formats in Super League Triathlon’s inaugural event on Hamilton Island. It is a two-stage race comprising an individual cycling time trial in Stage One in the morning, and a swim-run-swim-bike-run sequence as Stage Two in the afternoon. To make it really interesting, athletes must serve a time penalty in Stage Two that is equivalent to any time lost to the winner of Stage One. Οριστικός ο υποβιβασμός του Ηρακλή! Στη Superleague ο Λεβαδειακός.
Οριστικό «τέλος» στις ελπίδες του Ηρακλή για παραμονή στην Super League, έβαλε σήμερα το Διαιτητικό Δικαστήριο της ΕΠΟ. Το αρμόδιο όργανο απέεριψε με ψήφους 5-0 την προσφυγή του «γηραιού» για να ανατραπεί η απόφαση της Super League, σύμφωνα με την οποία ο Ηρακλής -αν και αγωνιστικά εξασφάλισε την παραμονή του- κατέλαβε την προτελευταία θέση στο πρωτάθλημα που ολοκληρώθηκε. Ανάλογη «τύχη» είχε και η σχετική προσφυγή που είχε καταθέσει ο Αρης, η οποία απερρίφθη με ψήφους 4-1, κάτι που επί της ουσίας σημαίνει πως ο Λεβαδειακός θα είναι η ομάδα που θα συμμετάσχει και στο νέο πρωτάθλημα της Super League.

The first format to be raced at Super League Hamilton Island is Triple Mix, which tests the versatility and adaptability of athletes by challenging them to complete three stages of all three disciplines with a maximum ten-minute break between stages.
Triple Mix will require athletes to complete three stages, as follows:
● Stage 1 - Swim (300m), Bike (6km), Run (2km)
● Stage 2 - Run (2km), Bike (6km), Swim (300m)
● Stage 3 - Bike (6km), Swim (300m), Run (2km)
A ten minute countdown to the start of the next stage will commence from the time that the first athlete crosses the finish line in the previous stage. Athletes finishing behind the first athlete in each stage will have less than ten minutes until the start of the next stage.
For some extra spice, athletes will also compete for time bonuses in each stage of Triple Mix. In Stage 1, athletes will compete for a 5-second time bonus for the first athlete out of the swim leg. In Stage 2, the first athlete to finish the run course will be awarded a 5-second time bonus and for Stage 3 the first athlete to start the last lap will receive a 5-second time bonus. These time bonuses are deducted from an athlete’s cumulative time across all three stages of Triple Mix. A single athlete can win more than one time bonus, if they are able to!
The winner of Triple Mix is determined by the athlete’s cumulative time, including any time bonuses awarded, across Stages 1, 2, and 3.

Το αρμόδιο όργανο απέεριψε με ψήφους 5-0 την προσφυγή του «γηραιού» για να ανατραπεί η απόφαση της Super League, σύμφωνα με την οποία ο Ηρακλής -αν και αγωνιστικά εξασφάλισε την παραμονή του- κατέλαβε την προτελευταία θέση στο πρωτάθλημα που ολοκληρώθηκε.
Ανάλογη «τύχη» είχε και η σχετική προσφυγή που είχε καταθέσει ο Αρης, η οποία απερρίφθη με ψήφους 4-1, κάτι που επί της ουσίας σημαίνει πως ο Λεβαδειακός θα είναι η ομάδα που θα συμμετάσχει και στο νέο πρωτάθλημα της Super League.

The Equalizer is one of the featured formats in Super League Triathlon’s inaugural event on Hamilton Island. It is a two-stage race comprising an individual cycling time trial in Stage One in the morning, and a swim-run-swim-bike-run sequence as Stage Two in the afternoon. To make it really interesting, athletes must serve a time penalty in Stage Two that is equivalent to any time lost to the winner of Stage One. The first format to be raced at Super League Hamilton Island is Triple Mix, which tests the versatility and adaptability of athletes by challenging them to complete three stages of all three disciplines with a maximum ten-minute break between stages.
Triple Mix will require athletes to complete three stages, as follows:
● Stage 1 - Swim (300m), Bike (6km), Run (2km)
● Stage 2 - Run (2km), Bike (6km), Swim (300m)
● Stage 3 - Bike (6km), Swim (300m), Run (2km)
A ten minute countdown to the start of the next stage will commence from the time that the first athlete crosses the finish line in the previous stage. Athletes finishing behind the first athlete in each stage will have less than ten minutes until the start of the next stage.
For some extra spice, athletes will also compete for time bonuses in each stage of Triple Mix. In Stage 1, athletes will compete for a 5-second time bonus for the first athlete out of the swim leg. In Stage 2, the first athlete to finish the run course will be awarded a 5-second time bonus and for Stage 3 the first athlete to start the last lap will receive a 5-second time bonus. These time bonuses are deducted from an athlete’s cumulative time across all three stages of Triple Mix. A single athlete can win more than one time bonus, if they are able to!
The winner of Triple Mix is determined by the athlete’s cumulative time, including any time bonuses awarded, across Stages 1, 2, and 3.

It also means you cannot look like a hulking strongman in order to put up more pounds.

Most of you know Stan Efferding for a few reasons. He is known as one of the strongest bodybuilders of all time. He is also known for his recent appearance on Shark Tank and the success of his product The Kooler. And above all else - he was one hell of a bodybuilder, strongest or not. Now Efferding is taking part in the creation of a brand new league in bodybuilding - one that looks to change the game when it comes to how bodybuilders actually compete.
Mixing powerlifting/strongman with bodybuilding aesthetics, the new Super League will have bodybuilders be judged based not only their physique but also for their strength and performance. They will be tasked with lifting in competition while also looking aesthetically pleasing. This means no drying out before a big competition. It also means you cannot look like a hulking strongman in order to put up more pounds.
I found this new league to be very interesting and, if done right, a great way to inject much more energy into an already prestigious sport. That's why I sat down with Stan Efferding to talk in more detail about this new league. You can check it out in our interview above.

Το αρμόδιο όργανο απέεριψε με ψήφους 5-0 την προσφυγή του «γηραιού» για να ανατραπεί η απόφαση της Super League, σύμφωνα με την οποία ο Ηρακλής -αν και αγωνιστικά εξασφάλισε την παραμονή του- κατέλαβε την προτελευταία θέση στο πρωτάθλημα που ολοκληρώθηκε.
Ανάλογη «τύχη» είχε και η σχετική προσφυγή που είχε καταθέσει ο Αρης, η οποία απερρίφθη με ψήφους 4-1, κάτι που επί της ουσίας σημαίνει πως ο Λεβαδειακός θα είναι η ομάδα που θα συμμετάσχει και στο νέο πρωτάθλημα της Super League.
