Mauricio Roberto Pochettino Trossero (Spanish pronunciation: [mauˈɾisjo potʃeˈtino tɾoˈseɾo], Italian: [poketˈtino]; born 2 March 1972) is an Argentine football manager and former player who is the current head coach of Tottenham Hotspur. As a player, he played as a central defender.
He spent 17 years as a professional player, 10 of which were in La Liga with Espanyol where he scored 13 goals in 275 games. He also played in France for two clubs, Paris Saint-Germain and Bordeaux, having started his career with Newell's Old Boys. An Argentine international for four years between 1999 and 2002, Pochettino represented the country at the 2002 World Cup and the 1999 Copa América.
Pochettino began his managerial career at his former team Espanyol in January 2009, remaining in the post for nearly four years. He then managed in the Premier League with Southampton and Tottenham.
Born in Murphy, Santa Fe, Pochettino started his professional career with Newell's Old Boys, moving to RCD Espanyol in Spain for the 1994–95 season as the Catalans had just returned to La Liga. He was an undisputed starter in his six and-a-half years stay, helping the club to the 2000 conquest of the Copa del Rey.
Press Conference was a public-affairs television series aired in the United States in the mid-1950s.
Press Conference was similar in format and content to the long-running Meet the Press and was moderated by one of that program's creators, pioneering female journalist Martha Rountree. On the program, a current newsmaker, generally but not always a politician, was questioned by a panel of newspersons in a typical press conference format. As usually done in a traditional press conference, the subject was allowed to make an opening statement (although not all chose to do so) prior to fielding questions.
Press Conference was launched on NBC in July 1956, but that fall moved to ABC. Initially shown in prime time, the program drew only a minimal, public-affairs oriented audience running against two high-profile Sunday night variety series, The Ed Sullivan Show on CBS and The Steve Allen Show on NBC; however, its appearance helped ABC to meet the public-interest requirements imposed on U.S broadcasters by the Federal Communications Commission. Press Conference was moved to Sunday afternoon for three months in early 1957, prior to returning to prime time in April of that year under a new title, Martha Rountree's Press Conference. The program ended in July 1957.
The no symbol (also known as a prohibition sign, no sign, circle-backslash symbol, nay, interdictory circle, or universal no) is a circle with a diagonal line through it (running from top left to bottom right), surrounding a pictogram used to indicate something is not permitted. The no symbol is generally colored red, but is sometimes another color, typically black.
The Unicode code point for the prohibition sign (also called the no symbol) is U+20E0;
, Combining Enclosing Circle Backslash ( ⃠ ). It is a combining character, which means that it appears on top of the character before it, so putting d⃠ will show d⃠. (Note: This will appear only if the character exists in an available font.) It also appears in the Webdings and Wingdings 2 fonts.
There is also a prohibition sign emoji located at U+1F6AB NO ENTRY SIGN
(🚫), which does not combine with anything.
According to the ISO standard (and also under a UK Statutory Instrument), the red area must take up at least 35% of the total area of the sign within the outer circumference of the "prohibition sign". So 35% of everything within the outer edge of the "no symbol" must be the symbol itself. Additionally, for printed signs under the UK rules, the width of a "no symbol" is set at 80% the height of the area it is printed to.
Google Play or Google Play Store, and originally the Android Market, is a digital distribution platform operated by Google. It serves as the official app store for the Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications developed with the Android SDK and published through Google. Google Play also serves as a digital media store, offering music, magazines, books, movies, and television programs. It previously offered Google hardware devices for purchase until the introduction of a separate online hardware retailer, Google Store, on March 11, 2015.
Applications are available through Google Play either free of charge or at a cost. They can be downloaded directly to an Android or Google TV device through the Play Store mobile app, or by deploying the application to a device from the Google Play website. Many applications can be targeted to specific users based on a particular hardware attribute of their device, such as a motion sensor (for motion-dependent games) or a front-facing camera (for online video calling).
