James Lee Duncan "Jamie" Carragher (/ˈkærəɡər/; born 28 January 1978) is a retired English footballer who played as a defender for Premier League club Liverpool for 17 years. He is currently a pundit on Sky Sports. A one-club man, he was Liverpool's vice-captain for 10 years, and is the club's second-longest ever serving player, making his 737th appearance for Liverpool in all competitions on 19 May 2013. Carragher also holds the record for the most appearances in European competition for Liverpool with 150.
Carragher grew up as an Everton football fan before deciding to play for Liverpool, starting his footballing career at the Liverpool Academy, making his professional debut in the 1996–97 season, and becoming a first team regular the following season. Having initially played as a full-back, the arrival of manager Rafael Benítez in 2004 saw Carragher move to become a centre-back, where he found his best form. His honours with Liverpool include two FA Cups, three League Cups, two Community Shields, one Champions League, one UEFA Cup, and two Super Cups.
Gary Alexander Neville (born 18 February 1975) is an English football coach and former player who currently serves as the head coach of Valencia CF in La Liga and assistant manager for the England national football team, and as co-owner of Salford City. Since retiring from football in 2011, Neville went into punditry and was a commentator for Sky Sports until he took over the head coach position at Valencia. He is England's most-capped right-back with 85 caps, and was Manchester United's club captain for five years.
Neville spent his entire playing career at Old Trafford, making him a one-club man. At the time of his retirement in 2011, he was United's second longest serving player in the squad, behind long-time team-mate Ryan Giggs. Neville made his international debut in 1995 and was first-choice right-back for England for more than ten years, representing the nation at three European Championships and two World Cups. He is one of the most decorated English and European footballers of all time, having won a total of 20 trophies, including eight Premier League titles and two Champions League titles.

Michael Carrick (born 28 July 1981) is an English professional footballer who plays for Manchester United and the England national team. He is vice-captain of Manchester United. Carrick primarily plays as a central midfielder, but he has been used as an emergency centre-back under Alex Ferguson, David Moyes and Louis van Gaal. At the time of his move to Manchester United, distinctive features of his play included his inventive distribution of the ball along with his passing and crossing abilities.
Carrick began his career at West Ham United, joining the youth team in 1997 and winning the FA Youth Cup two years later. He was sent on loan twice during his debut season, to Swindon Town and Birmingham City, before securing a place in the first team by the 2000–01 season. He experienced relegation in the 2002–03 season and was voted into the PFA First Division Team of the Year in the following campaign. He made more than 150 appearances for the Hammers, but in 2004, he moved to rival London club Tottenham Hotspur for a fee believed to be £3.5 million. He was ever-present during his Spurs career, scoring twice in 75 appearances, before moving to Manchester United in 2006 for £18 million.
Romelu Menama Lukaku (born 13 May 1993) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Everton and the Belgium national team. In January 2014, he was named by The Guardian as one of the ten most promising young players in Europe, and he is one of five players to score 50 Premier League goals before his 23rd birthday.
Lukaku started his career with local side Rupel Boom, before joining Lierse, where he earned a move to Anderlecht of the Belgian Pro League in 2006. Lukaku made his professional debut while still at school at the age of 16, and became the 2009–10 top scorer in Belgium as Anderlecht won the Belgian championship. He also won the Belgian Ebony Shoe in 2011. In the 2011 summer transfer window, Lukaku joined Premier League club Chelsea. He did not appear regularly in his first season there, and spent the following two seasons on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Everton respectively, signing permanently for the latter for a club record £28 million in 2014.
