Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) is a public university in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It is based on two sites; City Campus is located in the city centre, close to Sheffield railway station, and Collegiate Crescent Campus is about two miles away, adjacent to Ecclesall Road in south-west Sheffield.
The university is the sixth largest university in the UK (out of 165) with 31,530 students (of whom 4,400 are international student), 4,494 staff and 708 courses.
In 1843 as the industrial revolution gathered pace and Sheffield was on the verge of becoming the steel, tool and cutlery making capital of the world, the Sheffield School of Design was founded following lobbying by artist Benjamin Haydon. The day-to-day running was controlled by the local council, whilst the Board of Trade in London appointed the head. Tuition began in a 60x40ft rented room off Glossop Road. In 1850 the School of Design was renamed Sheffield School of Art.

Plot: Early in World War II, Chungking schoolteacher Lin Yang is recruited to help with the dangerous mission of protecting the Allied supply line from Burma into China. In spite of the danger involved, her determination to help is strengthened when one of her young students is killed in a Japanese air raid. Some time later, she is part of a group of Allied representatives departing from Lashio, on a bus traveling the Burma Road back to China. A bridge outage forces them to spend the night in a monastery along the way, and during the night they watch in horror as a supply convoy of trucks is bombed by Japanese planes. The timing and accuracy of the raid brings them to realize that either one of their group, or perhaps the priest in the monastery, is really an enemy agent.

BAMMA Middleweight Title fight between fierce rivals Yannick 'Black Mamba' Bahati and Matt 'Farmer Boy' Hallam from BAMMA 29 at Birmingham's Genting Arena.
Dø ung, dø hard
Til Valhall vi drar
I et fandens ritt
menn støpt av granitt
Flere hundre krigers drikkelag
en evig fest med måltid og slag
Skjenk våre krus til randen
gi faen i morgenfanden
Drikk for våre brødre
og drikk for de av dem som døde
Drikk!...så mjøden din
Drikk!...da for Odin!!
Dø i ære Do uten frykt
Til gylne haller det bærer
i et fandens ritt
Dø ung, dø hard, dø i ære,
