Mischa Auer (17 November 1905 – 5 March 1967) was a Russian-born American actor who moved to Hollywood in the late 1920s. He first appeared in film in 1928. Auer had a long career playing in many of the era's best known films, and he received an Academy Award nomination in 1936. He later moved into television and acted in films again in France and Italy well into the 1960s.
Auer was born Mikhail Semyonovich Unskovsky (Михаил Семёнович Унсковский) in St. Petersburg, Russia. His name is usually seen as Mischa Ounskowsky, Mischa being the German transliteration of Misha (the diminutive form of Mikhail), and Ounskowsky being the French transliteration of his surname. Auer's maternal grandparents were Hungarian-born Jewish violinist Leopold Auer and his wife, Nadine Pelikan. Mischa renamed himself after his grandfather.
He began stage work in the 1920s in Bertha Kalich's Yiddish Theater, then moved to Hollywood, where he first appeared in 1928 in Something Always Happens. He appeared in several small and mostly uncredited roles into the 1930s, appearing in such films as Rasputin and the Empress, Viva Villa!, The Yellow Ticket, the George Gershwin musical Delicious, the Paramount Pictures all-star revue Paramount on Parade and The Lives of a Bengal Lancer.

Douglas Elton Fairbanks, Jr., KBE, DSC (December 9, 1909 – May 7, 2000) was an American actor and a decorated naval officer of World War II.
Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. was born in New York City, the only child of actor Douglas Fairbanks and his first wife, Anna Beth Sully. His parents divorced when he was nine years old, and both remarried. He lived with his mother in New York, California, Paris and London.
Fairbanks's father was one of cinema's first icons, noted for such swashbuckling adventure films as The Mark of Zorro, Robin Hood and The Thief of Bagdad. Largely on the basis of his father's name, Fairbanks, Jr. was given a contract with Paramount Pictures at age 14. After making some undistinguished films, he took to the stage, where he impressed his father, his stepmother Mary Pickford, and Charlie Chaplin, who encouraged him to continue with acting.
He began his career during the silent film era. He initially played mainly supporting roles in a range of films featuring many of the leading female players of the day: Belle Bennett in Stella Dallas (1925), Esther Ralston in An American Venus (1926) and Pauline Starke in Women Love Diamonds (1927). In the last years of the silent period, he was elevated to star billing opposite Loretta Young in several pre-Code films and Joan Crawford in Our Modern Maidens (1929). He supported John Gilbert and Greta Garbo in A Woman of Affairs (1928). Progressing to sound, he played opposite Katharine Hepburn in her Oscar-winning role in the film Morning Glory (1933).
Danielle Yvonne Marie Antoinette Darrieux (French pronunciation: [da.niɛl i.vɔn ma.ʁi ɑ̃.twa.nɛt daʁ.jø]) (born 1 May 1917) is a French actress and singer, who has appeared in more than 110 films since 1931. She is one of France's great movie stars and her eight-decade career is among the longest in film history.
She was born in Bordeaux, France during World War I to a physician who was serving in the French Army. Her father died when she was seven years old. Raised in Paris, she studied the cello at the Conservatoire de Musique. At 13, she won a part in the musical film Le Bal (1931). Her beauty combined with her singing and dancing ability led to numerous other offers, and the film Mayerling (1936) brought her to fame.
In 1935, Darrieux married director/screenwriter Henri Decoin, who encouraged her to try Hollywood. She signed with Universal Studios to star in The Rage of Paris (1938) opposite Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. Afterwards, she elected to return to Paris.

Not since Paganini had there been such a magician on the violin. The first modern violin virtuoso, about whom Itzhak Perlman says in the film, 'When I spoke with him, I thought, "I can't believe it. I'm talking with God".' A musical wunderkind, he went on to set the standard in violin playing for nearly a century. This film portrays an artist for whom only perfection would do, so well known in popular culture that his name became shorthand for excellence for everyone from Jack Benny, to The Muppets, to Woody Allen. Heifetz was a legendary but mysterious figure whose story embodies the dual nature of artistic genius: the paradox of how a mortal man lives with immortal gifts- gifts he must honor, but which extract a life long price. Is the man and the artist the same person? What is the pric...

Yo see, it's rare that you find people like us
'Cause ya'll the other look out there doin' what I'm doin'
Or tryin' to do what I'm doin' but you can't
'Cause I do what I do my way
What about you? Huh, huh? come on
I do
Any and everything you want to
Make your girl say, ooh, ooh
Why's he so fly
She beeps me
Whenever she wanna get freaky
You can get mad if you want too
Do whatever you want but she still gon' give it up
She likes it
My way, my way, my way
You can't satisfy her needs
She keeps runnin' back to see me do it
My way, my way
What I say goes and I'm in control
Don't check me, check me
It was your girl who let me, let me
Take it this far then, ooh wee, ooh we
She had to have every chance that she could get
But you think you a baller
And I ain't gon' call her
Clip that, you can get mad if you want to
Say whatever you want but she still gon' give it up
'Cause she likes it
My way, ooh my way
You can't satisfy her needs
She keeps runnin' back to see me do it
My way, my way
What I say goes and I'm in control
I'm standing here
Where you ought to be
Got you mad at me 'cause I got your lady
You ain't got to worry, I ain't trying to romance
All I wanna do is make her dance with me
My way, oh my way, my way
You can't satisfy her needs
She keeps runnin' back to see me do it
My way, my way
What I say goes and I'm in control
My way, my way
You can't satisfy her needs
She keeps runnin' back to see me do it
My way, my way
And what I say goes and I'm in control
My way, my way
You can't satisfy her needs
She keeps runnin' back to see me do it
My way, my way
