Afterglow

An afterglow is a broad high arch of whitish or rosy light appearing in the sky due to very fine particles of dust suspended in the high regions of the atmosphere. An afterglow may appear above the highest clouds in the hour of deepening twilight, or reflected from the high snowfields in mountain regions long after sunset. The particles produce a scattering effect upon the component parts of white light. The true alpenglow, which occurs long after sunset or long before sunrise, is caused by the backscattering of red sunlight by aerosols and fine dust particles low in the atmosphere. It is an afterglow caused by direct illumination of atmospheric particles by sunlight as it refracts and gets scattered through the earth's atmosphere. The high-energy and high-frequency light is scattered out the most and the remaining low-energy, low-frequency reaches the observer in the horizon at twilight. The backscattering of this light further turns it pinkish-red. This period of time is referred to as the blue hour and is widely treasured by photographers and painters as it offers breathtaking imagery. The afterglow persists till the earth's shadow (terminator line) takes over the sky of the observer as nightfall and the stars appear, with planet Venus being the brightest star visible in the night sky just opposite to the Belt of Venus at the anti-solar point.

Ronski Speed

Ronny Schneider (pronounced [ˈʁɔniː ˈʃnaɪ̯dɐ], born on 18 March 1975), better known by his stage names Ronski Speed [ˈʁɔnskiː ˈspiːt] and Sun Decade is an electronic dance producer and DJ from Bautzen, Germany.

Biography

Ronski Speed started his career as a DJ in 1997. Ronski Speed was influenced by groups and artists such as The Pet Shop Boys, Paul van Dyk, and Depeche Mode. Many of his most notable titles include: Ronski Speed - 2Day, Sun Decade - Follow You, Sun Decade - I'm Alone, Ronski Speed and Mirco De Govia - Asarja.

He is currently signed to the German record label Euphonic, where he has been since 1997, when the label was first established.

In 2006 Ronski Speed has performed all over the world in countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Russia, the Netherlands, UK, Finland, Germany, China, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, USA, Kenya, Canada and Singapore. Ronski Speed also has his own radio show, "Euphonic Sessions" and is broadcast on RMI Radio Poland, Sense.FM, DDance.FM, AH.FM, PureDJ.FM and ETN.FM

And I

"And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.

The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.

Chart performance

At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.

Murder of Andrew Burns

Andrew Burns (c. 1980 – 12 February 2008) was a Northern Irish man and a member of the Real IRA, murdered by Óglaigh na hÉireann. According to The Guardian, at the time of his death, Burns was believed to have been, "the first victim of a Republican terrorist murder in Northern Ireland for six years."

A native of Strabane, Northern Ireland, Burns was killed in the churchyard at Doneyloop, Castlefin, a small village in County Donegal. under the pretext that he "was required to go on an IRA operation in which it was intended to murder a PSNI officer who was dating a girl in Donnyloop [County Donegal]. When they got to Donnyloop, they were met by three men who were known as members of Óglaigh na hÉireann.":

Martin Kelly (then aged 37) of Strabane, a bus driver, was found guilty of Burns' murder in December 2011, and sentenced to life in prison. He had driven Burns to Donegal, where Burns was shot dead.
