Motion capture (Mo-cap for short) is the process of recording the movement of objects or people. It is used in military, entertainment, sports, medical applications, and for validation of computer vision and robotics. In filmmaking and video game development, it refers to recording actions of human actors, and using that information to animate digital character models in 2D or 3D computer animation. When it includes face and fingers or captures subtle expressions, it is often referred to as performance capture. In many fields, motion capture is sometimes called motion tracking, but in filmmaking and games, motion tracking usually refers more to match moving.
Motion may refer to:

The following is a non exhaustive list of private housing estates in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.
Festival City (名城) is the largest private housing estate in Tai Wai. It is a HK$20 billion residential-commercial development project by Cheung Kong and MTR Corporation. It is located above the Tai Wai (Station) Maintenance Centre, next to Tai Wai Station, which is the interchange station between the East Rail Line and Ma On Shan Line of the MTR metro system. The site was formerly occupied by a football court and public bicycle park. However the government needed to build the Ma On Shan Line Depot in 2000, forcing the demolition of all of the facilities.
Festival City was built in three phases from 2007 to 2012. It consists of 12 buildings, a 620,000 square feet of clubhouse and a landscape podium. Phase I was completed in September 2010, Phase II in October 2011, and Phase III in August 2012. The plan was to build 12 50-stories high residential towers with a total construction area of 313,955 square meters as well as 25,890 square meters for the general public's use. It offers 4,264 flats to families, two schools and one community facility. This residential project raised the population of Tai Wai significantly. The controversy of this project is that the 12 towers would create an urban heat island effect and block off the air flow of the area. Many people criticize that housing estate is a walled-buildings and it makes Tai Wai lack of public open space and community facilities in nowadays.
Brooklyn Brewery is a brewery in Brooklyn, New York City, USA. It was started in 1987 by Steve Hindy and Tom Potter.
Hindy learned to brew beer during a six-year stay in various Middle Eastern nations such as Saudi Arabia and Syria. Upon his return to his home in Brooklyn in 1984, he and Potter, his downstairs neighbor from Park Slope, quit their jobs and founded the brewery. The pair hired graphic designer Milton Glaser, best known as the creator of the logo for the I Love New York campaign, to create the company logo and identity. Glaser received a share in the company in return.
Originally all their beer was brewed by contract by Matt Brewing Company, and the pair started their own distribution company and personally transported and marketed their beer to bars and retailers around New York City. In 1996, they acquired a former matzo factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and converted it into a functional brewery.
Although the brewery looked to expand its brewing capacity in the City, originally most of the production, including all Brooklyn Lager and all bottled products, were brewed by contract in the upstate New York city of Utica, due to the limited ability to meet demand at the Williamsburg brewery, its lack of a bottling line, and the cost benefits of contract brewing. The company later sought to expand its facilities in Brooklyn, but had difficulty finding a suitable site within the borough. However, an economic recession allowed them to remain in Williamsburg and undertake a $6.5 million expansion of the brewery in 2009.

Mo-cap isn't new by any means, the precursors of it date back to the early twentieth century, when they used it to track basic movement for animated characters. Over the next century, though, it evolved drastically, and these days filmmakers are able to create truly lifelike beings, who look as authentic as any real actor. Also the microphone was being flooded by noise from my macbook fan. Sorry about that, it may be hard to hear, however you mostly miss me ranting about useless subjects. Once you're past all of that here is a new tutorial covering a really awesome subject. Cinema 4D Motion Capture. In this tutorial I go over the basics of how my scenes worked. Kinetic Edinburgh III (Festival City in Motion) is the latest edition to the series of short films showcasing Scotland's beautiful capital city. The idea behind the film is to not capture the Edinburgh International festival itself, but to capture the atmosphere of the city during the Festival: the streets, buildings and parks. There are some amazing views of Arthur's Seat (very rare and difficult to capture with photography), Edinburgh's beautiful streets and the majestic firework finale to the International Edinburgh Festival. Altogether it took six solid weeks to film and 10,000 static photographs made it to the final edit. All legal rights retained and owned by Salhab Films. The Brooklyn Brewery Mash tour - adventures in food, film, music, books and beer... To promote the Brooklyn Brewery's MASH tour, filmmakers Landon Van Soest and Paul Trillo, created a stop motion tour of the borough. The 11 city tour brings the brewery's favorite aspects of Brooklyn culture; including food, film, music, books and beer. Keeping with the concept of touring, Landon and Paul shot over 3000 still photos to capture a glimpse of Brooklyn in under 60 seconds. The resulting piece is a fast paced, seamless transition between Brooklyn's various neighborhoods and establishments. The MASH tour begins at SXSW in Austin and tours to 10 additional cities through the end of the year.
