A baler is a piece of farm machinery used to compress a cut and raked crop (such as hay, cotton, straw, or silage) into compact bales that are easy to handle, transport, and store. Several different types of balers are commonly used, each producing a different type of bale – rectangular or cylindrical, of various sizes, bound with twine, strapping, netting, or wire.
Industrial balers are also used in material recycling facilities, primarily for baling metal, plastic, or paper for transport.
Before the 19th century, hay was cut by hand and most typically stored in haystacks. In the 1860s mechanical cutting devices were developed; from these came the modern devices including mechanical mowers and balers. In 1872 a reaper that used a knotter device to bundle and bind hay was invented by Charles Withington; this was commercialized in 1874 by Cyrus McCormick. In 1936, Innes invented an automatic baler that tied bales with twine using Appleby-type knotters from a John Deere grain binder; an improved version patented by Ed Nolt in 1939 was more reliable and became commonly used.
Baler is a second-class municipality in the province of Aurora, Philippines. It is the provincial capital of Aurora. It is located some 230 kilometres (143 miles) north-east of Manila via a mountain pass accessible by bus and private vehicle. It is host to spectacular geographic formations and is situated on a vast plain at the south end of Baler Bay, a contiguous segment of the Philippine Sea.
It became the capital of Aurora on 14 June 1951 under Republic Act No. 648 signed by President Elpidio R. Quirino. It remained the seat of government of Aurora on 21 November 1978 under Batas Pambansa Blg. 7 signed by President Ferdinand E. Marcos.
It was identified by Google in 2009 as topping the list of beach destinations in the Philippines. It was described by Yahoo! Southeast Asia in March 2013 as one of the "top surf spots" in the Philippines. Nine-feet waves serve as its main tourist asset, attracting hundreds of surfers during the surfing season from September to February.
According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 36,010 people.

The Philippines (i/ˈfɪlᵻpiːnz/; Filipino: Pilipinas [ˌpɪlɪˈpinɐs]), officially known as the Republic of the Philippines (Filipino: Republika ng Pilipinas), is a sovereign island country in Southeast Asia situated in the western Pacific Ocean. It consists of about 7,500 islands that are categorized broadly under three main geographical divisions: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City; both are part of Metro Manila.
To the north of the Philippines across the Luzon Strait lies Taiwan; Vietnam sits west across the South China Sea; southwest lies Malaysia in the island of Borneo across the Sulu Sea, and to the south the Celebes Sea separates it from other islands of Indonesia; while to the east it is bounded by the Philippine Sea and the island-nation of Palau. Its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire and close to the equator makes the Philippines prone to earthquakes and typhoons, but also endows it with abundant natural resources and some of the world's greatest biodiversity. At approximately 300,000 square kilometers (115,831 sq mi), the Philippines is the 72nd-largest country in the world.

Baler is primarily a love story between Feliza, the daughter of a rebel commander (Anne Curtis), and Celso, a half-Spanish soldier (Jericho Rosales), set at the twilight years of the Spanish regime in the Philippines. The young couple struggle to keep their forbidden love alive despite familial and political tensions culminating in an almost yearlong blockade known as the Siege of Baler.

Never judge a book by its cover, in this case don't judge a beach by its sand. To be honest, when I first saw the beach of Baler, I was a bit disappointed. I was looking for something more stunning like the sands Coron, Palawan, but after experiencing the hidden beauty of Aurora, Baler I then realized how different places can offer various kinds of beauty. The exhilarating waves, hidden white beach, historical places, relaxing waterfalls, and among others are some of the reasons why I feel in love with Baler. I would highly recommend everyone who loves adventure, to visit and experience this wonderful place. Music by: Dallas Cotton Song Title: Sometime (feat. JD348 baler - baling 1st cut timothy. 540 PTO RPMs, 1st gear - approx 1.8 mph. Tractor is a John Deere 5055d - 50ish PTO hp. Windrow is abnormally large as several were raked together to form this one. In-spite of the lower hp tractor, it seems to be doing OK with the baler. Most of the windrows we bale are smaller than this and as such, not so demanding on the guys stacking the wagon. Hay is very dry - not sure we could jam so much hay into this baler with this tractor if the humidity were higher.
Can we actual make a bale of hay with all this old equipment? Baler is one of the most scenic places in the Philippines, it is more than suitable for leisure and other fun activities. Going to the beach is the perfect getaway from all the stress. This vacation was the perfect way to end 2015.

Three weeks before the trip my friend called me up and asked if I wanted to go to the Philippines on a Surf trip. He said "It's cheap as chips mate We will spend less there then we will at home" and I was sold. I checked the dairy and had nothing on so I thought why not. There are many surf spots to go in the Philippines but they are becoming incredible popular due to the high quality of waves and as I stated earlier, cheap Island life. So we picked Baler, a lesser known spot where we were hoping for less crowds. Baler delivered. Not only were we among the few few foreigners but the lineups were generally small and in some spots we were the only ones there. The locals there were super friendly and happy to show us around to the best spots and give us pointers along the way. Being only a ...

It's Sunday morning and you struggle with the sheets
You hear the alarm kick the snooze go back to sleep
If you could only get up you would see what you were missin'
He is always there if you just take the time to listen to His
Mission His will He'll tell you what to do
Now that it's been done it's up to you to see it thorough
And then do it daily 'cause that's where it's at
It'll help you keep your life on track
It's on all day everyday kinda thing
So many times we think we got it tough
We go to church two times a year and you think that's enough
To get by with our lives and look good in others' eyes
Eventually with God we see there is no compromise
We realize how weak we really are
Without Him in your life then you won't make it very far
24-7 is the point I'm tryin to make
A daily walk with Him is exactly what it takes
