Albert Einstein (/ˈaɪnstaɪn/;German: [ˈalbɛɐ̯t ˈaɪnʃtaɪn]; 14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist. He developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). Einstein's work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. Einstein is best known in popular culture for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2 (which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation"). He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his "services to theoretical physics", in particular his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory.
Near the beginning of his career, Einstein thought that Newtonian mechanics was no longer enough to reconcile the laws of classical mechanics with the laws of the electromagnetic field. This led to the development of his special theory of relativity. He realized, however, that the principle of relativity could also be extended to gravitational fields, and with his subsequent theory of gravitation in 1916, he published a paper on general relativity. He continued to deal with problems of statistical mechanics and quantum theory, which led to his explanations of particle theory and the motion of molecules. He also investigated the thermal properties of light which laid the foundation of the photon theory of light. In 1917, Einstein applied the general theory of relativity to model the large-scale structure of the universe.

Einstein was married twice and in letters written over the years admitted to having 6 mistresses. Number 9. Einstein died after refusing surgery. The physicist suffered an abdominal aneurysm in April of 1955. He was rushed to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, but declined a potentially life-saving surgery. Easy to understand animation explaining all of Einstein's Theory. Covers both Special Relativity and General Relativity.
Simple Relativity is a 2D short educational animation film. The film is an attempt to explain Albert Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity with a simpler visual representation and exciting animation. In a time when our day-to-day life is surrounded by technology, most people find it daunting to understand the science and its application. Simple Relativity is an attempt to excite the viewer about this complex phenomenon of Relativity so that they can approach this, and science in general, with a lot more curiosity rather than inhibition.

http://facebook.com/ScienceReason ... Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity (Chapter 1): Introduction. The theory of relativity, or simply relativity, encompasses two theories of Albert Einstein: special relativity and general relativity. However, the word "relativity" is sometimes used in reference to Galilean invariance. The term "theory of relativity" was coined by Max Planck in 1908 to emphasize how special relativity (and later, general relativity) uses the principle of relativity. --- Please subscribe to Science & Reason: • http://www.youtube.com/Best0fScience • http://www.youtube.com/ScienceMagazine • http://www.youtube.com/ScienceTV • http://www.youtube.com/FFreeThinker --- SPECIAL RELATIVITY Special relativity is a theory of the structure of spacetime. http://www.artofspirit.ca/ (not my video) Albert Einstein was very clear in his day. Physicists are very clear now. Time is not absolute, despite what common sense tells you and me. Time is relative, and flexible and, according to Einstein, "the dividing line between past, present, and future is an illusion". So reality is ultimately TIMELESS. This sounds pretty bizarre from the view of classical physics, but from the view of consciousness theory and spirituality, it fits in perfectly.

Einstein, your mind, was so ahead of its time
Your mouth was so divine, it showed how the world was
beautiful
But your teacher confessed, you'd never be a success
You put a theory to the test, when you showed how the
world was beautiful
E equals mc square, energy is equal to mass times the
speed of light
You never comb your hair, sometimes your small star is
the brightest fire
That's right
You showed light bent, whenever gravity was present
And no matter where you went, the cameras flashed and
you were beautiful
E equals mc square, energy is equal to mass at the
speed of light
You never comb your hair, were you too busy thinking,
make it look right
That's right
World war, knocking at your door
What is all this hatred for?
You fought for peace, till the fighting cease
As they close their eyes and then demanding more
You open the door
Space flight, tv, these things would just never be
Without you Albert in the history
You showed the world was beautiful
E equals mc square, energy is equal to mass times the
speed of light
You never comb your hair, sometimes your small star is
the brightest fire
That's right
E equals mc square, that's right
