Mark Jonathan Pincus (February 13, 1966) is an Internet entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of Zynga, which makes online social games. Pincus also founded Freeloader, Inc., Tribe Networks, and Support.com. Pincus currently serves as CEO of Zynga, which had 232 million monthly active users as of July 1, 2011. Zynga's top games include: CityVille, CastleVille, FarmVille, The Pioneer Trail, Zynga Poker, Mafia Wars, Empires & Allies, Indiana Jones Adventure World and Draw Something. In 2009, Pincus was named "CEO of the Year" in The Crunchies and in the same month of 2011 was named Founder of the Year for 2010, as well.

Pincus was born in Chicago and raised in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. He is the son of an architect mother and a father who worked as a public relations adviser to CEOs and politicians. He attended Francis W. Parker School from kindergarten through 12th grade and graduated in 1984.

Pincus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Charles Peete "Charlie" Rose, Jr. (born January 5, 1942) is an American television talk show host and journalist. Since 1991 he has hosted Charlie Rose, an interview show distributed nationally by PBS since 1993. He has also co-anchored CBS This Morning since January 2012. Rose, along with Lara Logan, has hosted the revived CBS classic Person to Person, a news program during which celebrities are interviewed in their homes, originally hosted from 1953 to 1961 by Edward R. Murrow.

Rose was born in Henderson, North Carolina, the only child of Margaret Frazier and Charles Peete Rose, Sr., tobacco farmers who owned a country store. As a child, Rose lived above his parents' store in Henderson and helped out with the family business from age seven. Rose admitted in a Fresh Dialogues interview that as a child his insatiable curiosity was constantly getting him in trouble. A high school basketball star, Rose entered Duke University intending to pursue a degree with a pre-med track, but an internship in the office of Democratic North Carolina Senator B. Everett Jordan got him interested in politics. Rose graduated in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in history. At Duke, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He earned a Juris Doctor from the Duke University School of Law in 1968. He met his wife, Mary (née King), while attending Duke.

Max Rafael Levchin (Ukrainian: Максиміліан Левчин Maksymilian R. Levčyn), born on July 11, 1975 in a Jewish family, is a Ukrainian-born American computer scientist and internet entrepreneur widely known as one of the co-founders (along with Peter Thiel and Elon Musk) and for his role as the former chief technology officer of PayPal.

Originally from Kiev, Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union), he moved to the United States with his family, under a political asylum, and settled in Chicago in 1991. He attended Mather High School and then earned his bachelor in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997 and co-founded two companies that made Internet-tools, NetMeridian Software and SponsorNet New Media. In 1998, he founded Fieldlink with John Bernard Powers (who left the company shortly thereafter) and Peter Thiel. After changing the company name to Confinity, they developed a popular payment product known as PayPal. After a merger with X.com, the combined entity was renamed PayPal Inc.

Yuri Borisovich (Benitsionovich) Milner (Russian: Юрий Борисович (Бенционович) Мильнер) (born 11 November 1961) is a Russian entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He founded investment firms Digital Sky Technologies (DST), now called Mail.ru Group and DST Global. Through Mail.ru Group and DST Global, Milner is an investor in Facebook, Zynga, Twitter, Spotify, ZocDoc, 360Buy.com and Groupon.

Fortune magazine's list of the world's fifty most prominent business people in 2010 placed Milner at 46th place, making him the only Russian on the list. In 2010 Milner was recognized by Russian business magazine Vedomosti as Businessman of the Year.

Born into a Jewish family on 11 November 1961 in Moscow, Yuri Milner was the second child of Russian intellectuals. His father, Boris Zakharovitch Milner, is a distinguished expert in the sphere of management and organization. He was Chief Deputy Director at the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Betty Milner, Yuri's mother, worked at the capital's state-run laboratory for disease control. He has a sister, eight years his senior, who is an architect.

L. John Doerr (born June 29, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American venture capitalist at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in Menlo Park, California, in Silicon Valley. In February 2009, Doerr was appointed as a member of the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board to provide the president and his administration with advice and counsel in fixing America's economic downturn.Forbes ranks Doerr as the 540th richest person in the world, with a net worth of US $2.2 billion.

One of five siblings, Doerr graduated from Chaminade College Preparatory in St. Louis. He obtained a Bachelor of Science and master's degree in electrical engineering from Rice University and an MBA from Harvard University in 1976.^{[citation needed]}

Doerr joined Intel Corporation in 1974 just as the firm was developing the 8080 8-bit microprocessor. He eventually became one of Intel's most successful salespeople. He also holds several patents for memory devices.^{[citation needed]}

He joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 1980, and since then, has directed venture capital funding to some of the most successful technology companies in the world including Compaq, Netscape, Symantec, Sun Microsystems, drugstore.com, Amazon.com, Intuit, and Google, as well as Friendster, GO Corp., and others.
