Stage Left has some tips for you! Our weekend game plan includes a visit to a hot new nightclub called Copa Room (http://www.southbeachmagazine.com/copa-room-miami/) in Miami Beach. It’s a visual entertainment venue that presents shows and performances every half hour from 11pm to 4am. Costs $100 bucks to get in, but the drinks are free all night long! Spend Earth Day at Fairchild Botanic Gardens learning all about Florida’s tropical splendors, dance to the Heavy Pets and Aquaphonics at the Stage, or spread out a blanket on South Beach to enjoy world-class polo matches by the sea. Our game plan for this month includes an afternoon sipping fine French champagne and nibbling chocolates at the Marquis, a sexy bikini swim show on Ocean Drive, a down-home craw fish boil Downtown, and Miami Beach’s largest Gay Pride Parade ever!

Our hottest local nightclubs have booked another all star line up including Stephan Luke, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Max Vangeli. Big Brooklyn Red brings his jazz review to B Bar and Iko Iko and Piano Bob’s Big Easy Mardi Gras Band are performing live at a free concert down by the Miami River.

Come to Lummus Park at 1200 Ocean Drive and join the City of Miami Beach in welcoming the Gay Pride Parade and Festival to town including today’s gala event starting at noon with Grand Marshal Extraordinaire – Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen and 35,000 friends who will witness the fabulous floats, live music, dance performances, drag shows and more! The parade route from 5th to 15th street will close Ocean Drive to auto traffic so be sure to arrive early to find parking.
