Marion Marlowe (March 7, 1929– March 24, 2012) was an American singer and actress. She is best known for her recordings of "The Man in the Raincoat" and "Heartbeat". Marlowe worked with Frank Parker ("Moonlight and Roses") and was married to the television producer, Larry Puck.
Marlowe was born Marion Townsend in St. Louis, Missouri, and her father died several years later. At that point Marlow and her mother (a ballerina who had danced with the Metropolitan Opera) moved in with her grandparents. Her initial public performance came at age 5 when she sang Ave Maria at the Moolah Temple in St. Louis. She had her own quarter-hour weekly radio program from age 9 until she was 13.
According to Richard Lamparksi's 1975 book Whatever Became of...?, Marlowe began taking vocal lessons when she was 12 years old and studied at London's Royal Conservatory under Sir Thomas Beecham. Later, she roomed with Marilyn Monroe at Hollywood's Studio Club while being coached by Sigmund Romberg.
WKRP in Cincinnati is an American sitcom that featured the misadventures of the staff of a struggling fictional radio station in Cincinnati, Ohio. The show was created by Hugh Wilson and was based upon his experiences working in advertising sales at Top 40 radio station WQXI (AM) in Atlanta. Many of the characters and even some of the stories (including season 1 episode 7, "Turkeys Away") are based on people and events at WQXI.
The ensemble cast consists of Gary Sandy, Howard Hesseman, Gordon Jump, Loni Anderson, Tim Reid, Jan Smithers, Richard Sanders and Frank Bonner.
Like many other MTM productions, the humor came more from running gags based on the known predilections and quirks of each character, rather than from outlandish plots or racy situations, since the show has a realistic setting. The characters also developed somewhat over the course of the series.
The series won a Humanitas Prize and received 10 Emmy Award nominations, including three for Outstanding Comedy Series. Andy Ackerman won an Emmy Award for Videotape Editing in season 3.
Frank Marlowe, also known as Frank Riggi and Frank Marlo (January 20, 1904 – March 30, 1964) was an American character actor from the 1930s until the 1960s. Born on January 20, 1904 in Massachusetts, he entered the film industry in the early 1930s; while some sources have him in films as early as 1931, the American Film Institute has his earliest film appearance in Howard Hawk's 1934 film, Twentieth Century, starring John Barrymore and Carole Lombard. During Marlowe's 30-year career he would appear in over 200 feature films, as well as dozens of television shows.
Marlowe's prolific film career included small roles in many notable films. Some of those films include: the 1935 John Ford comedy, The Whole Town's Talking, starring Edward G. Robinson and Jean Arthur; Howard Hawk's classic romantic comedy, Bringing Up Baby (1938), starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn; 1940's My Favorite Wife, againg starring Grant, this time with Irene Dunne; the two classic biopics One Foot in Heaven (1941), starring Fredric March and Martha Scott, and Sergeant York (1941) starring Gary Cooper;Alfred Hitchcock's 1942 thriller, Saboteur, with Robert Cummings and Priscilla Lane; the 1945 musical Anchors Aweigh, starring Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, and Kathryn Grayson; 1942's Bob Hope and Bing Crosby buddy film, Road to Utopia; the 1942 Danny Kaye vehicle, The Kid from Brooklyn, which also stars Virginia Mayo;Michael Curtiz's classic biopic of Cole Porter, Night and Day (1946), starring Cary Grant and Alexis Smith; Hitchcock's 1946 thriller, Notorious, with Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, and Claude Rains; The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947), again starring Kaye and Mayo; and the 1948 classic swashbuckler, The Three Musketeers, starring Gene Kelly, Lana Turner and an all-star cast.

Frank Marlowe joins Matthew Heimbach for the last Daily Traditionalist of the week. Frank lived in New York for many years but after getting red-pilled moved to Philadelphia. New York is a particularly hostile environment for Whites due to the diversity there as well as being very expensive. Growing up in a city like that you are always outnumbered by minorities and it is impossible to find or form a White community. The gun laws there also make it impossible to defend yourself if you are attacked by any of the hostile foreigners so Frank moved to a State that has less of these problems. Most of the non-White advocacy groups in New York are being run by Jews and they are all concentrated on getting help for the worst kind of people. If you are White and hard working, there is no help fo...
