A wiki (i/ˈwɪki/ WIK-ee) is a website which allows collaborative modification of its content and structure directly from the web browser. In a typical wiki, text is written using a simplified markup language (known as "wiki markup"), and often edited with the help of a rich-text editor.
A wiki is run using wiki software, otherwise known as a wiki engine. There are dozens of different wiki engines in use, both standalone and part of other software, such as bug tracking systems. Some wiki engines are open source, whereas others are proprietary. Some permit control over different functions (levels of access); for example, editing rights may permit changing, adding or removing material. Others may permit access without enforcing access control. Other rules may also be imposed to organize content. A wiki engine is a type of content management system, but it differs from most other such systems, including blog software, in that the content is created without any defined owner or leader, and wikis have little implicit structure, allowing structure to emerge according to the needs of the users.
Your Old Droog is the stage name of an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. Droog first gained public attention in June 2014 when online rumors were thought up by some that his self-published debut EP was actually recorded by veteran New York rapper Nas under an alter ego, before revealing himself in August of that year as a 25-year-old Ukrainian American. His self-titled debut album was released digitally on November 25, 2014. The name "Droog" comes from a Russian word meaning "friend".
Your Old Droog's family emigrated to the United States from Ukraine, then a part of the Soviet Union. As a young rap enthusiast growing up in Brooklyn, Droog first developed his craft in lunchroom battles in school. In 2013 he released the song "Rhyme Strange" under the name "Imaginary Droog" with DJ Skizz. In June 2014, he released the 10-song Your Old Droog EP, which generated a significant amount of buzz due to comparisons to Nas and the otherwise lack of information about the artist. Self-released on SoundCloud, the EP was produced by Droog, El RTNC, and DJ Skizz. In August, Droog revealed himself in an interview with The New Yorker and soon showed his face for the first time in a video of him freestyling. At the time, he embraced the publicity and speculation regarding his identity, expressing that "This is like my street team, why would I stop free publicity?" He played his first concert on September 3 to a sold out crowd at Webster Hall. His debut self-titled album was released digitally on November 26, which included the 10 songs from the EP along with 8 new songs produced by R'Thentic. A limited edition of the album was released on vinyl shortly before the digital release.
Christian Scott, also known as Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah (born March 31, 1983, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a Two-time Edison Award-winning, Grammy-nominated American trumpeter, composer and producer.
Christian Scott was born to Cara Harrison and Clinton Scott III and also has a twin brother, Kiel. At the age of 13 he was given the chance to play with his uncle, jazz alto saxophonist Donald Harrison. By 14, he was accepted into the New Orleans Center of Creative Arts where he studied jazz under the guidance of program directors, Clyde Kerr, Jr. and Kent Jordan.
Once he graduated NOCCA, Scott received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he graduated in 2004. Between 2003 and 2004, while attending Berklee, he was member of the Berklee Monterey Quartet, and recorded as part of the Art:21 student cooperative quintet, and studied under the direction of Charlie Lewis, Dave Santoro, and Gary Burton. He majored in professional music with a concentration in film scoring.
Darold Ferguson, Jr. (born October 20, 1988), better known by his stage name ASAP Ferg (stylized as A$AP Ferg), is an American hip hop recording artist from New York City's Harlem neighborhood. He is a member of the hip hop group A$AP Mob, from which he adopted his moniker. In January 2013, Ferg signed a solo record deal with Polo Grounds and RCA, the same labels that helped launch A$AP Worldwide, when Ferg's A$AP Mob cohorts A$AP Rocky and the late A$AP Yams, negotiated their own respective deal in 2011. His debut album Trap Lord was released on August 20, 2013, and was met with generally positive reviews.
A$AP Ferg was born Darold Ferguson in Harlem on October 20, 1988. Ferg was raised in an area notoriously known as "Hungry Ham (Hamilton Heights)". His father, Darold Ferguson, owned a Harlem boutique and printed shirts and logos for record labels including Bad Boy Records and luminaries such as Teddy Riley, Heavy D, Bell Biv DeVoe, and more. Even though he immersed himself in music, the younger Ferg pursued fashion at first. Inspired by his father, who died of kidney failure, Ferg launched clothing and jewelry lines at a young age and attended art school. Launching Devoni Clothing in 2005, he designed and distributed high-end belts worn by Chris Brown, Swizz Beatz, and Diggy Simmons.
New York is a state in the Northeastern United States and is the United States' 27th-most extensive, fourth-most populous, and seventh-most densely populated state. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border in the Atlantic Ocean with Rhode Island, east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north and Ontario to the west and north. The state of New York, with an estimated 19.8 million residents in 2015, is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City, the state's most populous city and its economic hub.
With an estimated population of nearly 8.5 million in 2014, New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States. The New York City Metropolitan Area is one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. New York City is a global city, exerting a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, its fast pace defining the term New York minute. New York City makes up over 40% of the population of New York State. Two-thirds of the state's population lives in the New York City Metropolitan Area, and nearly 40% live on Long Island. Both the state and New York City were named for the 17th century Duke of York, future King James II of England. The next four most populous cities in the state are Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, and Syracuse, while the state capital is Albany.

Fast forward 4 years, a few EPs, an album, tours, mixtapes, and Wiki is a grizzled veteran at 22. Few institutions are more synonymous with life in NYC than the local neighborhood bodega. From snacks and sandwiches to blunt wraps and laundry detergent, chances are the store on your block has it all. As a Chicago native, Sean Evans is a relative newcomer to the Vienna sausage-stacked aisles of the bodega. In the hopes of understanding NYC's most enigmatic marketplace, Sean enlisted the help of Wiki and Your Old Droog: two of the city's fastest-rising MCs. Together, Wiki and Droog breakdown the bodega dos and don'ts, examine the store's influence on New York hip-hop, and go on a luxurious $10 shopping spree. The internet is alive. All images taken from Wikipedia and shot frame by frame
Many wikipedia articles have coordinates. Many have references to historic events. Me (@godawful) and Tom Martin (@heychinaski) cross referenced the two to create a dynamic visualization of Wikipedia's view of world history. Watch as empires fall, wars break out and continents are discovered. This won "Best Visualization" at Matt Patterson's History Hackday in January, 2011. To make it, we parsed an xml dump of all wikipedia articles (30Gb) and pulled out 424,000 articles with coordinates and 35,000 references to events. Cross referencing these produced 15,500 events with locations. Then we mapped them over time. More information and datasets: http://www.ragtag.info/2011/feb/2/history-world-100-seconds/

Uh, yeah y'know, shit is wild he, heh
Can't complain though I'm alive
Healthy and all a that knahmsayin?
Just tryin' to do my thang, praise to all
Bust it that nigga Slick Rick said, I waited long time sweatin' it
I got jerked but now I'm gettin' it, hazy like asthma bizarre disaster
Stress almost held me down from bein' a master
The faster preacher, poet, a teacher, it's been so long like Monifah
Believe that I'm needed, in rappin', I breathe this
Some pick up a microphone and can't even achieve this
Oscar award winning your shit, I'm bored with it
Stop copy-catting son
(Why?)
'Cause your dog did it
Get your own lingo, make up your own jingle
Ten years later you be bitin' my single
Primo, take it downtown, swing it
Intervenin' on the board, sensimil steamin', yeah
Catch the vibe like a tribal dance
In the clubs on the low with the boy stance
Money rubbin' with a shorty got bumped by a chump
Tell him, step off, I'm doin' the hump, yeah
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way you bound to get dropped
Some wish that I was gone 'cause they know I'ma win
In a minute, I'll be makin' six G's times ten
I'm the computer, printin' out data take notes
Then analyze the information and press send
Freaky like porno, Ron Jeremy saw no
Obstacle or pussy to stop him from bonin' a hoe
Me and the mic double trouble
Chicks look at us like twins, all lovable and huggable
Prognosis, on the, mic I choke out
Had the same effects from coughin', blowin' smoke out
Architect, rap technician, man listen
It's no doubt you gonna pump this in your system
My skills ill and all of that above
Confidence, I'm not worried 'bout a street buzz
I'm O.C., who you? I never heard of ya
Get out my face 'fore I turn into a motherfuckin' murderer
I want the green like indo, a mansion, a car
A wife who's never been a bimbo
Too much to ask, well, to me that's simple
Wanna retire on a yacht called the S. S. Minnow
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
Top choice, this here nigga got poise
Ain't a man alive who could stop my noise
I snatch a star from the sky, spark up your lye
You stand astounded wonderin' how I did it
Now you're star struck, like I truck gold
Treatin' me like a nigga havin' a million records sold
Now a star child, phenomenon like the X-Files
Rappers know I'm comin' so they go in exile
Czar in this rap shit, comin' on your mattress
Microphone fiend, I make beats do back flips
Fear me like genocide, serious
How I do it through your stereo, mysterious
O.C. do demolition, nil competition
Like robot Kong on a destroy mission
A matter of life and death you try to fight for breath
I snatch your heart from a slice through your chest
Who the best from New York to Bogota?
Who got face thinkin' they scare me with a scar, shit?
What I be bringin' is a terrible sight
A performance never again performed on the mic
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
I say it's my world and I won't stop
And if you stand in my way, you bound to get dropped
