Andrew Hines (born May 25, 1983 in Villa Park, California) is a four-time National Hot Rod Association Pro Stock Motorcycle champion. He rides the flagship Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson V-rod. Andrew follows in the footsteps of his brother and crew chief, Matt Hines (NHRA Champion 1996, 97, 98). The team is headed by the legendary duo of Terry Vance and Byron Hines.
Pro Stock Motorcycle, formerly known as Pro Stock Bike is a drag racing class that is the two-wheeled equivalent of Pro Stock. It has been a feature of NHRA drag racing since the 1980s when it was added to the professional class structure and has since spread around the globe. Their 1st Points Championship Season took place in the 1987 NHRA Season. The class has for years been dominated by inline-4 cylinder Suzuki based bikes but in recent years Harley-Davidson based V-twin machines have become more competitive due to favorable rule changes. Frames are purpose-built specifically for drag racing and are not based on their road-going counterparts.
One of the most successful Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers in NHRA history is six time champion Dave Schultz, who died from cancer in 2001. His son Brian, also a Pro Stock Motorcycle racer, died in a car accident in 2004. The first female driver in this category is Vicki Farr; the best known female face in this category is Angelle Sampey (Seeling), who set a national record 7.38 second elapsed time in 1996, during her rookie year.
Ed Krawiec (born December 6, 1976 in Englishtown, New Jersey) is an NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Pro Stock Motorcycle racer. He currently pilots the #88 Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson for Vance & Hines as a teammate to 3-time Pro Stock Bike champion Andrew Hines. Ed Krawiec, a former AMA Prostar racer, served as a full-time employee of Old Bridge Township Raceway Park from 1999 through 2007, and became dragstrip manager in 2001.
On November 16, 2008, Krawiec overcame a 19-point deficit to win his first NHRA Full Throttle Pro Stock Motorcycle championship by five points over second-place finisher Chris Rivas. Krawiec did this, despite never having won an official event in his career. He is only the second NHRA driver to win a championship without winning an event in the same year. Rob Bruins won the Top Fuel title in 1979 going winless, but Bruins had won twice in 1978, though after that, he never won a race again. For Krawiec, this has changed. As of the start of the 2013 season, Krawiec now has 20 career wins in the Pro Stock Motorcycle division. In 2012, Krawiec captured his third NHRA title (and second consecutive title) at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals.
The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) is a drag racing governing body, which sets rules in drag racing and hosts events all over the United States and Canada. With over 40,000 drivers in its rosters, the NHRA claims to be the largest motorsports sanctioning body in the world.
The association was founded by Wally Parks in 1951 in California to provide a governing body to organize and promote the sport of drag racing. The first nationwide NHRA sponsored event was held in 1955, in Great Bend, Kansas. (Typical for the era, this race was held on a World War II-constructed training air field.) The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, the national event series which comprises 24 races each year, is the premier series in drag racing that brings together the best drag racers from across North America and the world. The NHRA U.S. Nationals are now held at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis in Clermont, Indiana and are officially called the U.S. Nationals. Winners of national events are awarded a trophy statue in honor of founder Wally Parks. The trophy is commonly referred to by its nickname, a “Wally”.

Children of God playing musical chairs
Out of confusion and into despair
Out of despair and into malaise
A dead end game everyone plays
Though all are aware
Children of heaven just can't understand
Step over the body of the suffering man
Out of discomfort and into distain
Believing in ruins, detatched and ashamed
Children of lies in an empty diguise
Never quite learned how to open their eyes
Looking at nothing they see even less
Only illusions can calm their distress
A crowded train frozen still in the night
Deafening silence considered polite
Not a word spoken for a desperate hour
Eyes turn away
No contact's made
