Plot: Hyderabadi Nawab Shakeel Changezi gives his Sherwani to Chhotu Darji to sew in some buttons and is subsequently enraged after Chhotu's assistants, Akbar and Birbal, abscond with it. His men locate the two males just as they were about to flee to Dubai but the Sherwani is not with them, and on questioning, they claim to be Sultan and Tipu. About to have them killed, the Nawab changes his mind when his mentally-challenged sister, Anarkali, insists that Akbar is her long-lost lover, Salim, and wants to marry him. Hilarious chaos results in a small village where Akbar and Birbal end up - this is where Akbar must accept that he is married to Razia and be the father to two sons: Shahrukh and Salman - but he insists on calling Razia 'Appa' - much to her distress - and especially after he gets smitten with a Neetu Singh-look alike, Sultana. Things get even more complicated with the involvement of a witch doctor, Khairu, and a gangster named Dilawar.

Plot: Tragedy strikes Razia and her eight year old Abu, when her kite-maker husband dies. They migrate to her brother's place Rohru near the foot hills of Himalayas. Her brother Babban Mia is an apple farmer and a fruit & Vegetable seller in Rohru. Abu joins the local school where Babban Mia's children Afroz and Arshiya go. Life is not easy for Abu and Razia as they have to cope with the new place and people. Razia decides to make a living by selling kites like they used to do in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Abu is trying hard to make friends and find company at the kite games. All his attempts at winning friends are faltered by Bashir. Abu decides to lure them to playing kites but it doesn't seem to be easy. Abu resorts to playing marbles, one of the many ideas he uses to make friends at the kite games. The kites are not selling at the shop and are ready to be thrown out. Abu needs to support his mother and he hasn't much time and chances. Until one fateful day, when he meets an opponent at fighter kiting in the blue skies. All the while Abu tried and tried, he never gave up.

Plot: Based in Vikrampur village, Dhuri lives an impoverished lifestyle along with his wife, Razia, and a sister, Champa. He is a farmer, owns a small piece of land and two oxen, Heera and Moti. He hopes to get Champa married to a fellow farmer by the name of Pashupati. He lends his oxen to Roopnandan who enters them in a race and they win much to the chagrin of the Zamindar who sends his agent, Bansilal Mehta with Rs.100/- to acquire the oxen. When Razia refuses to sell, an enraged Zamindar sets the entire community against Dhuri and his family - blacklisting as well as pitting Pashupati against him. When Dhuri approaches the Panchayat - he will soon learn that the 'Parmeshwar' is missing from the 'Panch' as it is being controlled and manipulated by the Zamindar; his oxen will not only go missing but he will have his land taken away - leaving him with no option but to re-locate elsewhere.
