A 16-year-old Avenues gang member shoots into SUV hitting driver after a verbal altercation. He shoots driver in the arm, but one of his bullets hits 14-year-old female sitting in back seat of another SUV in adjacent lane, killing her.
The driver survived the shooting and suffered injuries to his right arm and he was able to drive himself home, where he was later transported to the hospital. A 14-year-old girl, who was sitting in the drivers side back seat was shot in the eye, and died from her injuries.
Ironically, the shooter actually knew the family of the unintended victims in the second SUV that you can see turning right at the intersection after the shooting and into the Right Aid parking lot after the girl was shot in back seat.
The 16-year-old was charged with:
1. Attempted murder - GUILTY
1b. (+ gang enhancement) - NOT TRUE
1c. (+gun enhancement) - TRUE
2. 1st degree murder - GUILTY
2b. (+ gang enhancement) - NOT TRUE
2c. (+ gun enhancement) - TRUE
The minor was charged as an adult and was sentenced to 82 years in prison, 25 years for 1st degree murder, 7 years to life for attempted murder, 25 years for gun enhancement, plus an additional 25 years for gun enhancement.

From there, the names of roads can be shaped by their environment and/or the form of the road. A drive is a long winding road that can be shaped by mountains or a lake. Place is a narrow road with no throughway. And just as there is no rule book to building a city, these roads and other don't always correspond with their described classifications.

Los Angeles (
i/lɒs ˈændʒəlᵻs/ loss AN-jə-ləs or loss AN-jə-liss) (Spanish for "The Angels"), officially the City of Los Angeles and often known by its initials L.A., is the second-largest city in the United States after New York City, the most populous city in the state of California, and the county seat of Los Angeles County.
Situated in Southern California, Los Angeles is known for its mediterranean climate, ethnic diversity, sprawling metropolis, and as a major center of the American entertainment industry. Los Angeles lies in a large coastal basin surrounded on three sides by mountains reaching up to and over 10,000 feet (3,000 m).
Historically home to the Chumash and Tongva, Los Angeles was claimed by Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo for Spain in 1542 along with the rest of what would become Alta California. The city was officially founded on September 4, 1781, by Spanish governor Felipe de Neve. It became a part of Mexico in 1821 following the Mexican War of Independence. In 1848, at the end of the Mexican–American War, Los Angeles and the rest of California were purchased as part of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, thereby becoming part of the United States. Los Angeles was incorporated as a municipality on April 4, 1850, five months before California achieved statehood. The city experienced rapid growth with the discovery of oil.

A street is a road but a road isn't always a street. A road can also be an avenue or a boulevard—it's the general term for anything that connects two points. From there, the names of roads can be shaped by their environment and/or the form of the road. A drive is a long winding road that can be shaped by mountains or a lake. Place is a narrow road with no throughway. And just as there is no rule book to building a city, these roads and other don't always correspond with their described classifications.
