Mayo Clinic is a nonprofit medical practice and medical research group based in Rochester, Minnesota. It is the first and largest integrated nonprofit medical group practice in the world, employing more than 3,800 physicians and scientists and 50,900 allied health staff. The practice specializes in treating difficult cases through tertiary care. It spends over $500 million a year on research.
Dr. William Worrall Mayo settled his family in Rochester in 1864 and opened a medical practice that evolved under his sons into Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic is widely regarded as one of the world's greatest hospitals and ranked No. 1 on the 2014–2015 U.S. News & World Report List of "Best Hospitals", maintaining a position near the top for more than 20 years. It has been on the list of America's "100 Best Companies to Work For" published by Fortune magazine for eight consecutive years. It continued to achieve this ranking through 2015.
In addition to their flagship hospital in Rochester, the Mayo Clinic has major campuses in Arizona and Florida. The Mayo Clinic Health System also operates affiliated facilities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
A clinic (or outpatient clinic or ambulatory care clinic) is a healthcare facility that is primarily devoted to the care of outpatients. Clinics can be privately operated or publicly managed and funded, and typically cover the primary healthcare needs of populations in local communities, in contrast to larger hospitals which offer specialised treatments and admit inpatients for overnight stays. Most commonly, the word clinic in English refers to a general medical practice, run by one or several general practitioners, or a specialist clinic. Some clinics grow to be institutions as large as major hospitals, or become associated with a hospital or medical school, while retaining the name “clinic."
Clinics are often associated with a general medical practice, run by one or several general practitioners or clinics are usually operated by physiotherapists and psychology clinics by clinical psychologists, and so on for each health profession. Some clinics are operated in-house by employers, government organizations or hospitals and some clinical services are outsourced to private corporations, specialising in provision of health services. In China, for example, owners of those clinics do not have formal medical education. There were 659,596 village clinics in China in 2011. Health care in India, China, Russia and Africa is provided to vast rural areas by mobile health clinics or roadside dispensaries, some of which integrate traditional health practices. In India these traditional clinics provide ayurvedic medicine and unani herbal medical practice. In each of these countries traditional medicine tends to be a hereditary practice.
1 (one; /ˈwʌn/ or UK /ˈwɒn/, also called unit, unity, and (multiplicative) identity), is a number, a numeral, and the name of the glyph representing that number. It represents a single entity, the unit of counting or measurement. For example, a line segment of unit length is a line segment of length 1.
One, sometimes referred to as unity, is the integer before two and after zero. One is the first non-zero number in the natural numbers as well as the first odd number in the natural numbers.
Any number multiplied by one is that number, as one is the identity for multiplication. As a result, one is its own factorial, its own square, its own cube, and so on. One is also the result of the empty product, as any number multiplied by one is itself. It is also the only natural number that is neither composite nor prime with respect to division, but instead considered a unit.
The glyph used today in the Western world to represent the number 1, a vertical line, often with a serif at the top and sometimes a short horizontal line at the bottom, traces its roots back to the Indians, who wrote 1 as a horizontal line, much like the Chinese character 一. The Gupta wrote it as a curved line, and the Nagari sometimes added a small circle on the left (rotated a quarter turn to the right, this 9-look-alike became the present day numeral 1 in the Gujarati and Punjabi scripts). The Nepali also rotated it to the right but kept the circle small. This eventually became the top serif in the modern numeral, but the occasional short horizontal line at the bottom probably originates from similarity with the Roman numeral I. In some countries, the little serif at the top is sometimes extended into a long upstroke, sometimes as long as the vertical line, which can lead to confusion with the glyph for seven in other countries. Where the 1 is written with a long upstroke, the number 7 has a horizontal stroke through the vertical line.

Clarity Coverdale Fury chose Gasket Studios to concept and design Puzzle and Question, two national TV spots for Mayo Clinic. Combining live footage of Mayo Clinic's own doctors and a design style similar to Minority Report, we won the pitch against both local and Los Angeles based shops. Gasket concepted animated, interactive typography for Puzzle, a spot driven by doctors working together to make sense of a jumbled word on screen. In Question, we see doctors collaborating to solve another patient's problem by using a 3D question mark, filled with X-rays, MRIs, and CAT scans. Full post: http://gasket.tv/projects/mayo-clinic/

I want much more than what you offer - you just slag me
I want to know the unknown answers - you drag me down
oh, high time you get behind me
oh, get gone - don't you vilify me
all these years I've worked so hard to free myself from bondage
all the simple things I took for granted lie beside the road I've travelled
worn and weary - ordinary
and given to moods of spite and jealousy
tired of cruelty - bored with envy
and driven by thoughts of joy past memory
this time it's gonna be better than all that time we spent together
...oh, get gone - you terrorize me
all these years I've struggled with this all-consuming anger
all the greatest pains that go unspoken
bind us to the paths we've chosen
cold and empty - bruised and angry
and used by a lie that defines your morality
send your money - pawn the jewellery
we're sowing the seeds of hate and misery
and all the times you will not kiss me 'till I guarantee my love
