Simón Bolívar
Simón Bolívar (IPA: [siˈmon boˈliβar]), in full Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacios (24 July 1783 – 17 December 1830), was a Venezuelan military and political leader who played an instrumental role in the establishment of Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia as sovereign states, independent of Spanish rule.
Bolívar was born into a wealthy, aristocratic Creole family, and similar to others of his day, he was educated in Europe at a young age, arriving in Spain at the age of 16. There, he was introduced to the thoughts and ideas of learned Enlightenment philosophers, which filled him with the ambition to replace the Spanish as rulers. Taking advantage of the disorder in Spain prompted by the Peninsular War, Bolívar inaugurated his campaign for independence in 1808, appealing to the wealthy creole population by seeking freedom through a conservative process and had an organized national congress established within three years. Despite a number of hindrances, including the arrival of an unprecedented large Spanish expeditionary force, the revolutionaries eventually prevailed, culminating in a patriot victory at the Battle of Carabobo in 1821, which effectively made Venezuela a truly independent country.

Pinturas deixadas no tempo
Herança a se revelar
E assim a natureza nos contempla
Em vários tons, relatos da vida
Nas cores vivas de um lindo matiz
No egito, escritas antigas,
Mosaico de cultura e beleza
Em cada traço, revela uma nova aquarela
A essência das cores a fascinar
Desperta na roma antiga
A luz da inovação dessa arte milenar
Hoje vou colorir a passarela
Com a “puro veneno”, sacudir a galera
Comunidade orgulhosa a cantar
Minha escola tem que respeitar
A magia invadiu continentes
Na porcelana o “tom” oriental
O óleo deu brilho a tela
Relíquias guardadas pela luz divinal
Pro índio guerreiro em celebração
Com a indústria a evolução

Com o enredo "Com uma paleta de cores vibrantes, Andaraí pinta o seu carnaval”, a quinta escola a desfilar no Sambão do Povo cummpriu o prometido. O carnavalesco Sandro de Oliveira trouxe uma paleta de cores e conquistou o publico no primeiro dia de carnaval.
Ousada, a comissão de frente trouxe o casal de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira. O coreográfo responsável, George Falcão, abriu o desfile com as cores rosa, vermelho, azul, laranja e amarelo para receber a elegância do casal.
O dourado também marcou presença no desfile e logo no primeiro carro alegórico, uma esfinge do Egito chamava a atenção dos foliões.
Sob o comando de Kaio Amorim, a bateria deu um show no sambódromo com a companhia da rainha de bateria Juliany Wingler e a madrinha Gisele Simon.
Com muitas cores, a escola pintou o sete na avenida com 1.100 componentes, 17 alas e três carros alegóricos.
