Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour. It has a land area of 1104 km2 and shares its northern border with Guangdong Province of Mainland China. With around 7.2 million inhabitants of various nationalities, Hong Kong is one of the world's most densely populated metropolises.
After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong remained under British control for about a century until the Second World War, when Japan occupied the colony from December 1941 to August 1945. After the Surrender of Japan, the British resumed control. In the 1980s, negotiations between the United Kingdom and the China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration, which provided for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong on 30 June 1997. The territory became a special administrative region of China with a high degree of autonomy on 1 July 1997 under the principle of one country, two systems. Disputes over the perceived misapplication of this principle have contributed to popular protests, including the 2014 Umbrella Revolution.

The detectives of the 87th precinct are learning about ice: in a mulitimillion dollar showbiz scam, in the glittering diamonds that spill out of a dead man's vest, in the veins of a small time pusher. As the detectives scramble for evidence, as the city shivers, a killer is one step ahead, and the heat is still on.

Plot: Dr. Robert Richardson, a dedicated young general practitioner, seeks to establish himself in an isolated fishing village on Cape Breton Island off the Nova Scotia coast. The population is poor and the struggling physician generally gets paid for his efforts in barter. When he meets Belinda McDonald, a young deaf mute callously dismissed by family and neighbors as "the dummy," he alone senses her innate intelligence. He overcomes the initial skepticism of her flinty, gruff father and indifferently cold aunt, who operate a hardscrabble grist mill and farm, and devotes himself to teaching the young girl sign language and lip-reading. Hopes are even raised that she might even eventually qualify for a medical procedure that might improve her condition. Her optimism is crushed, however, when she raped by Locky McCormick, a brutish local fisherman. Traumatized, she is unable to communicate the outrage to her family, who are baffled and angry when they learn she is pregnant. The local gossips blame the doctor, and he and the McDonalds become pariahs, unable to earn a living in the provincial village. Matters come to a head when McCormick and his new wife pressure the local council to declare Belinda an unfit mother and declare them the baby's legal guardians.

Tim Moore is one of those great "Singer-Songwriter" kind of guys. In his early career, he was a session musician & songwriter for Philly Soul producers like Thom Bell and the team of Gamble & Huff. Many groups have recorded his music including the Bay City Rollers with the song "Rock 'N' Roll Love Letter". Both Art Garfunkel and Tim Moore had this fantastic song called "Second Avenue" on the radio at about the same time in. Art's version did a little bit better, but I think you'll like the original version by Tim just as well....or maybe even better! "Second Avenue" made it to #58 in 1974.
This clip is a small part of a tribute to Tim Moore. Many entertainers are standing on his shoulders. He played the part of "Kingfish" in the CBS series Amos & Andy (First African American cast on USA television). He was in show business for over 50 years (he paid his dues). He worked with Oscar Devereaux Micheaux, who made over 40 films, and many of the noted entertainers of that time period. He received his most noted and famous role at the age of 65! We titled this tribute "giving something back, never forget those that have gone before us and uncovering a lost treasure". Enjoy... comments are welcomed.

Yes - Tim Moore - Lyrics --- Ooh, yes, yes Nothing never felt to me Like you do right now Ooh, yes, yes, That's the only word I want to hear from your mouth. Oh, let's not waste our time Hiding what we feel inside If you come, you start just whisper yes, Darling, yes, darling, yes Yes, yes, don't you feel breathless When I'm holding you near Oh, yes, yes We could light a fire And keep it burning for years. Yes, that misty look inside your eyes That I won't doom another lies Feel your skin on mine, It's crying yes darling, yes darling, yes. Oh, many questions gonna drive me insane, Time goes by and I'm losing ground Do you want to see a love one in chains, I'm sinking baby, I'm gonna drown, I'm going down. Oh, yes, yes Can't you feel the passion When I look in y...

Ever since the days of skulls and crossbones
I've been known as Kaptain Kidd
Every mama and papa keeps his kids home
All because of the things I did
Patch on m' eye, boots to my thigh
A pirate am I
Now most of m' boys still wear their red bandanas
Though we were thinkin' of switchin' to green berets
We're fightin' men and pure Americans
A product of the working class malaise
Patch on m' eye, boots to my thigh
A pirate am I
The C.I.A. and all the black marias
They're supposed to be so bad and rough and stiff
But they're all run by corporate privateers
And they all think that piracy's a myth
But my swabbies make the plumbers look like schoolboys
And we'd pulverize them eggheads down at Rand
A bone beneath your boot makes such a cool noise
I'm hopin' all you poofies understand
Patch on m' eye, boots to my thigh
A pirate am I
